I love this place! I get it once a week for lunch. It's always fresh and delicious! My meal comes to under $14 but it's big enough for 2. I eat half and half later. I get the half rice half salad with spicy tuna and all the free veggies. I add the seaweed salad that costs $1 extra (portion is so big), and I switch up the sauces between ponzu and spicy mayo. I just add crunchy onions and garlic for the toppings. It's always a big generous portion, ready within minutes to pick up and comes in the cutest reusable bags. They also have a punch card for frequent customers. Get your card punched for a free poke bowl! read more

I was at Polaris running errands and noticed Poke Bros was near the movie theater entrance at Polaris. I checked on Yelp and also noticed they had a 100% with their health dept decided to check them out First impression: very much like a Chipotle only they make poke bowls. You queue up and approach a glass cased counter. Which has a staff member assemble what you want in your bowl. You pay at the end of the counter and receive your food. Seating appears to be communal as it is long high top tables with round bar stools. Drinks are self serve I ordered take out and chose the Da Kine bowl which is tuna, seaweed salad, rice, onions, masago and ponzu... i added avacado and tofu. Yum! I would go back. read more

My family was on a road trip and came here on a whim for lunch on Thursday. Everything was delicious, and fresh. My husband raved about it and said we would be back! (It takes a lot to impress him, so WIN!) Bathroom was clean and well kept, although, a ceiling tile was a bit out of place. I do wish fountain drinks were available, or at least free tap water. read more

My husband and I order carry-out from the Polaris location of Poke Bros at least once a week. It's my absolute favorite restaurant because the food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is always VERY friendly and helpful. I requested Poke Bros for Mother's Day and my birthday last year because I love their food so much! There's also a Hi Bubble T at this location! Hi Bubble T is our favorite bubble tea and my husband usually gets me a delicious smoothie. The food at Poke Bros is absolutely delicious!!! I swear there's a party in my mouth every time we order from Poke Bros! Everyone in our family has enjoyed their delicious bowls! Everything from Poke Bros is always incredibly fresh and made exactly to order! We've had nothing but smiling, helpful, friendly service whenever we've gone to Poke Bros. The prices are very affordable! If you're pescatarian you'll easily be able to find things on their menu that you're sure to enjoy. My bowls have shrimp & crab meat on a salad base. My exact order every time is always: A bowl with the salad base. There's no iceberg lettuce here! They have premium salad greens that are extremely fresh every time! I order shrimp as my protein & get crab meat as well. The shrimp is plentiful & always very fresh! The ingredients I order are: Masago Ginger Avocado Crab sticks Corn I absolutely LOVE the PONZU sauce, which pairs so well with the ginger! Toppings: Tempura flakes Other restaurants skimp on seafood. Poke Bros gives you VERY generous portions of seafood! There's also a LOT of shrimp, masago, crab sticks, and avocado! I always order a strawberry smoothie No ice, and mango popping boba! We order our Bubble T smoothies with 50% sweetness or less, it's always the perfect sweetness! My husband and kids always get one of their Signature bowls. My husband and youngest child love the spicy chicken. Our entire family recommends Poke Bros very highly! Thank you Poke Bros for always providing amazing meals every time! read more

I had never heard of this place, but a gentleman that I work with mentioned it. I ordered "The Duke" with brown rice. We love this place! It's clean & fresh every time! Always get the Johnny Utah & it's easy to make substitutions too.

Here was the first time I tried a poke bowl and absolutely relished it till the last morsel! I have visited poke brothers twice and haven't been disappointed both the times. They have made to order poke bowls that you can customize to your liking. You can choose from brown rice, salad and nachos as your base, toppings of your choice(I can never decide as there are so many options!) and protein of your choice (tofu, tuna, salmon, chicken etc) and add sauces- The sesame soy and the sriracha aioli are my favorite! These bowls are too yummy to be healthy! But they are very healthy and delicious! Highly recommend! Vegetarians- this "the" place for you! I am not a big fan of tofu but have tried their tofu poke bowl and it's really good! I will be back to try their nacho base pole bowl! Ps: Wish I could rate it more than 5 stars! :) read more

Is this my favorite place? Nah. But it's still delicious! My favorite is aloha poke in Chicago. I love Hawaiian restaurants. They're so simple but so instagramable. Surfs up! I debated whether to go to this location or the one downtown. I figured this place because hello parking! And hello seating! It was out of my way but more convenient for me. I decided to build my own poke bowl because in selfish and I want it my way. Kidding. They had your basic ingredients and what I don't see often actually, that every poke plce should have because that's the correct way is marinated tuna! So I had to get the marinated tuna! They put your base. I got rice. Then they put your add ins then your protein on top. Then sauces and toppings. Intriguing way of doing it. Normally the add ins are either mixed in or carefully placed surrounding the protein. But honestly, I enjoyed the day they did it. You easily get a bite of everything! I thought it was cool that they had the Korean chili sauce... so I put that on my poke though I know it was weird but I prefer a different sauce. I just wanted to see how it would taste with the poke bowl. One of my complaints is that the avocado was already precut up and all so the avocado was browning. which is unappealing but I dealt with it. I really need to try signature bowls instead of building my own sometimes. read more

We did a take out order. We got a spicy poke bowl and a chicken bowl. The chicken bowl had very little chicken in it. The poke bowl was spicy but the rice and extras buffered the spiceness. Again, the poke was sparse. Maybe if we dined in there may have been more protein. We will try dining in next visit. read more

The food is great but the service was just... odd. Like it felt like the guy behind the counter didn't want us there or something. Call it a chip on his shoulder or something else I can't quite put my finger on, it was just odd. Like extra time we asked for something to be added to our bowls there was almost a distinct eye roll that occurred. Isn't that sort of how this place works? Food was decent, but probably could have had something similar 3 places within walking distance. read more

This is a really solid choice for fresh poke in the Polaris area. For those of you who have never had poke, think Chipotle-style deconstructed sushi. You start with a base (I typically choose white rice) and then you get to go down the line and choose your protein and toppings. There are pre-set bowls if you want to order off the menu, but it's way more fun to make your own! My favorite protein as of late is the spicy salmon. I don't always love spicy food, but the flavors here work well when complimented with the white rice and veggies. I also love the marinated tuna. When it comes to toppings, the more the better! I always pile my bowl high with various veggies and crunchy toppings like tempura, sesame seeds, and crispy onions. Be prepared to pay an uncharge for a couple toppings (ex: crab stick, seaweed salad, avocado). To me the seaweed salad is worth it and I get it every time. It's good quality and rivals a lot of the local sushi joints, in my opinion. My bowl usually ends up being around $10 and I'm happy to pay this for fresh sushi-grade fish. My only qualm with Poke Bros. is that it seems the portion sizes fluctuate greatly depending on the employee that's working. There are times that I'll get a heaping bowl of delicious fish and toppings, and then other times I feel like they're being really stingy with scooping out the goods. It's kind of a hit or miss situation. That being said, I still love this place so much that I'll definitely continue to come back! read more

[Edit: ice cream part seems to have been shuttered. Poke is still fine though.] This is a nice place to have in the Polaris area. It's not quite like poke or rolled ice cream places on the east or west coast - but I had two of their rolled ice creams during the specific hours that their ice cream part is open, and they tasted good. It's fairly pricey, though, and the number of toppings you can get is limited. The process of making the ice cream took a long time - perhaps the guy doing it was inexperienced? This is definitely not something I want to get addicted to - for my wallet's sake - but something I might splurge on once in a while. Would be nice if they were more generous with their toppings! read more

I've been enjoying the new trend of Poke places popping up everywhere because it's one of my favorite types of fast casual meals. Poke Bros is one of the best Poke restaurants in Columbus, and it is always a top choice when I'm in the Polaris area. They have pre-built bowls, but I always customize my own. You start by selecting the base (brown rice, white rice, or salad), followed by a large number of ingredient choices. One of my favorite parts of Poke Bros is that they don't have a limit on how many ingredients can be added! The next step is the protein, and I recommend the Spicy Salmon - it adds a little more excitement to the bowl versus regular salmon. Finally, you can pick from a few sauces and other assorted toppings. The food here always tastes very fresh, the employees are helpful, and the restaurant is clean and has lots of seating. I look forward to visiting again! read more

I was in town from Seattle with other business associates. We come to Poke Bros every time we are in town. Never had issues with the food before. Unfortunately, the raw fish and sauce was very salty, rice was hard, seaweed salad was also salty and tasted spoiled. This experience of the food was extremely disappointing. Im born and raised in Hawaii, grew up working in restaurants and making food for luau's. Poke is an everyday staple and I know what Poke should taste like and this was not it, not even close. I brought a few of my co-workers to also taste the Poke, which again was very disappointing. One of the co-workers got sick. Not sure what has changed, but I, as well as my co-workers, definitely will not be returning to this place to eat. In Hawaii, we take pride in our food and what our culture represents. It is not just a name to be used to make money and put out poorly kept food. Gene read more

I've been looking forward to this place opening, so my family and I visited during their grand opening weekend. The space is great looking -- blue walls with dark wood accents, long high top tables & stools and low seating as well. The staff was welcoming and explained all the ingredients and offered samples of sauces as we made decisions about our order. It is a "build your own" bowl or salad style place; you pick a base, proteins (all fresh fish or tofu), veggies, sauce, and other toppings. They also have "signature" bowls if you don't want to design your own. I loaded my bowl with sushi grade tuna and salmon (half and half), varied toppings (including seaweed salad and masago for a slight upcharge), and their standard sesame-based sauce. It was light and refreshing yet satwith a great deal of flavor; the fish definitely tasted fresh. It might be a tad pricey (if you go for the extra items like I did!), but it seems worth it given the quality. My family loved their orders as well. We'll be returning. read more

I love poke, and Poke Bros didn't disappoint. Great flavor combinations, sauce and edamame were key. The Hawaiian Poke was my favorite of the proteins (they allowed me to sample a few). Setup has that same 'chipotle' line where you can build your own bowl, but they also have a few recommended combinations which help those that might be there for the first time. Stopped by on a Sunday around 1:30 p.m. and everything was super delish and fast. Hubby ordered the Duke and I ordered the make your own and all the seasonings and ingredients were fresh and well balanced. Poke is basically sushi in a bowl and this place allows you to order Chipotle style so you can pick your base, add your protein, ingredients, etc. and when you get to the end of the line your meal is prepared and all you have left to do is pay. We tried the mochi ice cream, it was good, just very mild in flavor. All in all, we will back and lunch hit the spot. read more

Since poke is a thing here now, and since it's so awesome, I had to try this out. I'd been to Pokebap a few times and liked it, and noticed I was up near here so I stopped in. Compared to Pokebap, it is larger, and noisier. Service was way slower, because there was a rush and no one bothered to come up front to help the lone prep girl out. I almost took off a point for that, but once things got moving it was fine, and everyone was super friendly. And, the food was so good. No spam musubi, though, which was a bummer. I had the Da Kine, marinated tuna, veggies, etc., on your choice of foundation- I chose brown rice. The rice was perfectly cooked, the tuna was amazing, and the whole thing pulled together in a nice balance of flavors and textures. It was super fresh, and pretty healthy. I also had the kani salad. At Pokebap it is pretty much shredded krab with sauce; here it was more of a salad, with good greens mixed in. The sweet tea was not very sweet (a minus for me, maybe a plus for you.) The ice cream bar was not open at 2pm; that bit looks very interesting. To sum up: I would come back, but I still prefer Pokebap. But more poke is always a good thing... Sushi, deconstructed sushi- I'm in for all of it. read more

SUSHI LOVERS GET IN HERE! Poke Bros. is serving up delicious, fancy rolls in a bowl, fast casual style. If you are a fan of sushi this is a cant-miss spot to visit and grab a bowl. I was ignorant to the Hawaiian based deliciousness that is Poke(pronounced POH-KAY according to the website), but I learned today! Fresh seafood over rice with various topping options. I elected to go with the menu options instead of building my own the first time. I sampled the Haoele bowl. It was grilled shrimp, white rice, seaweed salad, avocado, masago, green onion, OG sauce(some mixture of soy sauce and something else) and tempura flakes. I then added some custom fried onion strings over the top like #saltbae. Listen... this blend of ingredients was magical. I want to go back and get another one as I type this. Can't wait to visit again very soon! This place is not cheap but you are getting fresh seafood here....pay the $9- $12 dollar cost and be glad you did! Fresh Hawaiian food is right. Poke Bros is the Chipotle of sushi bowls. They have bowl choices you can pick, or you can create your own masterpiece. I chose to create my own bowl with salad and the Hawaiian tuna. It was amazing and the flavors blended well. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I got the mochi ice cream. It was a good novelty item but not really worth the price. They were small. I would have rather got the plain scoops of ice cream. The staff is really really nice. Fast casual is at it again! Poke Bros just opened one week ago next door to Rave at Polaris. Just like your other fast casual friends, you go through the line and customize your bowl (or poké nachos or a salad - wasn't expecting these options!) however you would like. They offer 4 bases, 7 proteins, 9 veggies/ingredients, 5 sauces and 5 toppings. Check out my pictures to see the menu. These folks also have mochi ice cream at a station next to the main line of food. Walking in, I was a bit overwhelmed (one of everything, pleaaase?) and the man working told me that it would be less expensive if I chose one of their 4 signature poké bowls. Welp, I didn't but maybe should have. My bowl was $11.50 (saved $1 by adding my own avocado which I already had at home) which it higher than I would've liked but we're living and learning. I couldn't get myself to spend more on mochi but I'll be back for it! The food - fresh! The portions are generous and there's SOOoo much variety! The atmosphere - inviting! They have long wooden tables with stools with a few additional small tables, bright colors and heigh ceilings. The service - friendly, answered all my questions but still learning. I would be too if I started working at a restaurant that hadn't even been open for a week. Poké Bros is solid. Watch for the price but their options are a definite selling point! read more

We found this restaurant through Yelp. Then when we got there we realized it was where the frozen yogurt place was. We are pleasantly surprised with the location. My husband ordered the Haoele ( grilled shrimp and sticky rice, seaweed, avocado, masago green onion & OG sauce and tempura flakes) I had the Tuna with brown sticky rice and cucumber and avocado and tofu and jalapeños. Added the saracha aioli. It was fresh and delicious! We ate the entire thing and decided to try another bowl. So my husband and I tried the Duke. We shared that one. That one had tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab, seaweed, edamame, cucumbers , onions, ponzo sauce and goujang sauce. And it too was delicious. So we met one of the workers there not sure of his role, however he was super nice, his name is TJ. You should go out and visit because the place is absolutely delicious. Worth the money!
