After struggling for few years with subpar products and even lack of customer service lines in a lot of aftermarket companies, dealing with Poison Spyder is like a breath of fresh air. You renewed my faith in good quality manufacturing and amazing customer service. My first introduction to them came with Brawler Rockers - and I knew I was on a hook the moment they were put on. I was amazed by how well they were made, and strong. (drilling all the holes into the truck made my day, I must admit) So when I was picking new front and rear bumpers to replace my old rusted ones, I knew exactly who I am going with. Poison Spyder or nothing. Lite powder coated bumper for front, RockBrawler II with tire carrier for rear. Not only they look great (anyone would drool over that spider logo cutout, and spider web is a nice touch. Thumbs up!), but also the fact that rear tire carrier opens together with rear door - it is simply genius and made my life so, so much easier. It holds my lite truck tire with no issues (they are quite heavy, much, much heavier than stock), opens and closes smoothly, no rumble. During install, shop had minor hiccup with adjustment of carrier - so I sent email asking for advice not expecting reply for days - boy was I surprised when I got a call back right away! I literally stood there speechless. I forwarded info to the shop, and it was all smoothly adjusted and in place. I love, love, love those bumpers, carrier & rails. I Paid for a Full Welded /Drop in cage for my Jeep Tj from 4WParts in Sacremento back in the end of May 2020. I was told the cage would be a few weeks out. 1 month goes by... Nothing.. 3 weeks of phone calls.. No Answer.. 4 Months later Poison Spyder or 4WP won't give a time frame on when they may actually produce what I paid for!! Poison Spyder and 4 Wheel Parts have the WORST Customer Service I have ever seen! I will NEVER buy ANYTHING Poison Spyder again! They have lost their Quality and Service. I have Called MANY times to Both Poison Spyder and 4 Wheel Parts on this issue. If Im lucky enough to have one actually answer a phone I get "DUA" I Dont Know... Or an Excuse on how its the Corona Excuse". Both Company's will probable be out of business in the next few years. There are to many good 'Mom &Pop" shops out there who want your business and who actually have customer service. read more

The product is great however the customer service is horrible. I have several Spyder parts and I need a replacement bushings for my tire carrier I just can't find a part number anywhere. So I emailed customer service and Alex Shear with customer service emails back being extremely rude. I continued to email back and forth a couple times with him being rude every time. I don't ever give bad reviews but I refuse to get rude back and this is so uncalled for. It's to bad people like Alex actually deal with customers.. read more

I purchased a Poison Spyder Rock Brawler bumper and tire carrier at the Off Road Expo in Pomona Ca on September 29, 2019. Poison Spyder had a vendor booth there, and told me to go to the 4 Wheel Parts booth across from them to pay for the bumper. I did as directed and there was a problem with the price. The 4 WP employee told me to go back to the PS booth and ask where they got the pricing. I didn't think that was something for me to be involved in but I did as requested. It soon became evident there were two different entities involved that did not communicate with each other. I paid for the product in full and was told it would take a few weeks for delivery. Well, 5 months later I still do not have it. Every time I have called since then they have put me off for a couple weeks. It is very clear 4WP (who I paid) and Poison Spyder (who make the product) don't communicate and don't care if or when I get my product. I have called them both on numerous occasions to try and get info and they point the finger at each other. As a consumer, I've asked them both if this seems appropriate for their customer service level. 4WP says they can't control when PS makes their products and PS says I should talk to 4WP. Today I was told that I should have my tire carrier/bumper in the first week of March 2020. They have put me off as they've done since I made the purchase in September of 2019. I asked 4WP if they would do anything to help me out and they said they would install it for $500.00, half of the usual price. That is after I have it powder coated at my cost of course. How complicated is it going to be to install a tire carrier/bumper if they charge $1,000.00 to do it? I was hoping to have a tire carrier by the TDS event (2/28-3/1 2020) but it doesn't look that way. I've had to carry my spare all season and not have any rear passengers. Not to mention the wear and tear of carrying it in the back of my 06' LJ. So, I'm not happy and have not been able to get anywhere. Yes they said it would be done the first week of March but they've said it before. Please let me know if you can recommend any quality tire carriers/bumpers for oversized tires (37"). I need to get on with this. PS- In a last ditch effort I went to the 4WP website and called the number (on 2/20/20). Told them I wanted to order the same bumper I've been waiting for and asked how long it would take. They said I could get it tomorrow (2/21/20) or Monday at the latest. As you probably guessed I couldn't believe it. I explained my situation and he said it showed it was recently loaded on a truck and would be there on 2/21/20 or 2/24/20 at the latest. He transferred me to 4WP in West Covina Ca, where I am scheduled to take delivery and they said they didn't know where Morgan received the info unless it was something that occurred after we spoke (3hrs prior). This is my first review but I really needed to do this. I purchased the One action Rear bumper and tire carrier and absolutely love the quality and design of this. Many compliments from my fellow jeepers about it. So I placed order for fender flares, body armor and JK Rocker Knockers. I really want to give a big shout out to Starlie who has helped me through my mistakes on ordering. I called her 3 times to correct my order, I felt really bad she had to redo my invoice 3 times.
