Thank you Yeager's Diesel & Auto ! Got a check engine light the day before I was to start heading home (AZ). Was told to go in first thing in the morning, had Mass airflow sensor code. The technician that pulled the code got under the hood pulled the sensor wiped it off but wasn't satisfied! Checked Various areas for other possible items the pulled a MAP sensor it was covered in soot from the turbo. Cleaned it also change some plastic three way T's that were starting to leak. Then changed the air large hose off the intercooler that had cracks. I very happy with what was done and thinking I'm good to go ! BUT I wasn't, got back to hook my trailer to go and made it about 5 miles down the road and got another check engine light. Well now Friday late afternoon and I'm thinking C*^p I'm done' called Yeagers back " Stop by will figure it out!" Turn out the EGR was all clog. Parked my trailer at a near parking (Thank you Yucaipa Elks 2389) Yeagers got on it when most places would say manāna! Got the job done and we were able to make home! I still had questions when I got home and called them and they were still advising me over the phone! Happy to say we happy to be back on the road with confidence! I can't say enough good things about Yeager Diesel in Yucaipa. We were traveling in our RV on an extremely hot day when we started having a problem that had us very concerned. We drove over to Yeager Diesel, and he diagnosed the issue almost immediately. He knew we were on the road, knew we were worried about whether it was safe to keep driving, and took the time to explain exactly what was happening. Most importantly, he told us honestly that our RV was safe to drive back home to Wildomar and explained what needed to be repaired. Got to salute the fellas at Yeagers Diesel, I have to say 100% that these guys are the most honest staff and crew in the Diesel repair business. I heard about them from their Instagram ad and figured I'd give them a shot. My truck (as I'm sure anyone that works hard and cares about their toys, is my baby) love this truck, I've had it for about 3 years, got it as a diamond in the rough, a truly one off, showroom condition F250 King Ranch, the only regret I have is that I didn't find these guys earlier. But sometimes that's the way it goes. I've had multiple Diesel mechanics work on my truck over the years. Although the work was done as requested in most cases, I never felt the care and truly the friendship I did when I met Ryan and his mechanics, then his partner Chad . These guys really went out of their way, like other reviews here, I came in, and they took care of me and, most importantly, SOLVED! My issues from a shoddy lift and suspension shop that did the lift. I first met Ryan shortly after I did my lift and, unfortunately my steering box blew out, my story is really special, I called Ryan and ordered a heavy duty Red Head steering box, we made an appointment to have a bay available so I can go and have it replaced the same day. Unfortunately, I didn't have a ride home, so Ryan took me up the street to have some breakfast, and I hung out the rest of the day until they were done. So i drove home, super happy, but started hearing a banging noise, which was there before they did the work, but i noticed it more after their work (nothing to do with the steering box by the way) so I took it back, and the shop who did the lift didn't route the brake line mounting bracket right and it was banging against the swaybar mount, a serious safety issue, they fixed it and rerouted the brake lines temporarily for no charge, taking time out of their day from other work to address my issue. I took the truck back to the shop who did the lift to have them properly reroute the brake lines. Then i was driving and heard a griding sound from the front end, ( I was sure related to the lift) I went back again. Then taking time out of their day from other work to find and source this griding. During that time they found a bad wheel bearing in the rear. So I asked if it's something they can fix asap, Ryan said, sure, leave it with us. I was going to call an Uber to go back home, leaving the truck there. Then Chad, the owner (bless his heart) offered to drive me back to my home in Fontana saving Me the $60 Uber ride. Who does that, right? So they repaired the bearing and found the same shoddy lift shop didn't torque the radius arm drop brackets correctly, which got the front end moving forward and backward every time i would go or stop. Well, like everything else they fixed, they correctly torqued the drop brackets, and replaced the bad wheel breaking, here's the kicker tho, and shows their honesty, Ryan quoted me $480 for the wheel bearing with labor (I was good paying that) he calls me, tells me they found the grinding and says "by the way it's less money" I'm like "what, how?" He says I charged you for 2 wheel bearing on accident, it's $75 less that the original quote. He literally couldn't have said anything and I would've been happy paying the $480. He was straight up and honest and deducted the difference. That's straight up honest, most other shops i feel wouldn't have said anything. Well i picked up my truck and guess what! The grinding gone, it drives straight and better than when I originally bought it guess that wheel bearing was bad for some time. Anyways, Chad, Ryan and your whole team, thanks again, I'm so over the top happy with your work and honesty, I can't say enough good things. While in the middle of a 14 hour drive, our check engine light came on along with a few other signs that something might be wrong with a particular sensor in our 99 Dodge Ram diesel. After checking reviews of good auto/diesel mechanics along our route, we found Yaegers. We were pretty close so we just stopped in without calling ahead. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Within only a few minutes they had checked the engine codes, and did a quick check of possible problems. It turns out we had a loose cam sensor. Within five minutes we were on our way! We took my boyfriends truck to get fixed here, and terrible service! We took the truck home an the next day the problem that was SUPPOSE to get fixed broke again so we then dropped the truck off again just for his to have it for a month an half with nothing being done, an they're communication is terrible we had to call them every so often for updates. I have a business myself so I know customer service is so very important! Or at least it should be but such a bad place to take your vehicle so even if it's close I would recommend calling other places an driving a bit further just for way better experience ab to actually get your truck fixed, why pay someone to do a job yet they don't do it. We then dropped the truck off at another diesel shop today for them to tell us what my boyfriend payed all this money to supposedly get fixed this place never even fixed! So sad eventually doing this type of work to customers eventually runs you out of business hope this review helps, I hope I had a heads up before getting scammed. read more
