Stay away from them . Had my car for 1 month. Called about 15 times only called back 1 time. Had to drive down there . Then they had no paperwork of the car even being there . then magically called me back 4 hours later and told me the car was ready. Check engine light was back on literally 5 minutes after driving the car . Don't waste your time or money read more

They always take care of my vehicles. Trustworthy and fast! I've been taking my trucks to them for awhile and Sterling is always fair and goes the extra mile to make sure it gets taken care of the right way. read more

They are pricey and tend to have attitude. I would get several quotes before I would bring a vehicle here and make sure you're not getting ripped off. Over a thousand dollars for a starter is ridiculous.. read more

Yucaipa Auto Electric is my go to place for all of my cars' electrical needs. On my recent electrical issue, I had my Jeep Wrangler towed there after calling ahead to make sure they would be able to take delivery of my Jeep. They said sure, and I didn't even need to go there until after they diagnosed and repaired what was wrong! I have always received great service and reasonable prices for their work. read more

I trust Yucaipa Electric with my vehicle as well as my family's vehicles. You may have to wait a few days to get in for an appointment , but that just goes to show you that everyone in town wants their car to get worked on here. They are trust worthy and provide quality work. I've never been gouged or taken advantage of. Sterling really is a genuinely nice and honest mechanic. I will continue to bring my vehicles to this shop because they are the best in town. Thanks Yucaipa electric team. Keep up the fantastic work - Jonathan Sibley read more

Good service and honest place. Just check, the cost of parts as quoted. Errors happen good to make sure. I would use them again.

Woke up to a truck that would not start and called around to 3 local auto repair shops. All were booked but Sterling over at Yucaipa Auto Electric told me to bring it in anyway and he would do his best to squeeze me in. He called me about an hour later with a diagnosis and quote which was very fair pricing. They did the repair work and it was ready for pick up the same day (bad fuel pump fuse kit). I got friendly and professional service at a fair price in 1 day with no appointment. Hands down this is my new go to mechanic shop. read more

I was recommended Yucaipa Auto Electric from a local work friend. Sterling is probably one of the most honest mechanics I have met. Yucaipa Auto Electric, located in the foothill community of Yucaipa California is a great location for maintenance and repair services for all makes and models of cars, suv's and trucks. They are Automobile Club approved and Automotive Service Excellence Certified. Since 1953 Yucaipa Auto Electric has been professionally and courteously serving their customers with the latest technology and friendly service. I was introduced to Yucaipa Auto Electric when our family van needed a starter and was recomended by The Automobile Club of Southern California. The Auto Club towed our van in and Sterling at the customer service desk was courteous, informative and got us in for service.I was also impressed at how clean their customer service and auto bays were-super clean! Sterling discussed what they needed to do and a very reasonable and fair cost. Their customer service area is very comfortable if I needed to wait for my repair-but I chose to return to my office while the repair was taking place. A few hours later Sterling called and the van was ready-on time,on price and professionally handled-a great experience at Yucaipa Auto Electric! . . . . . #yucaipaautoelectric #autoservice #yucaipa #starters #autoclub #greatautoservice #automobileclubofsoutherncalifornia #AAA #smoginspection #airconditioningservice #brakes #frontendallignment #autos #suv #truck #foreign #domestic #shopyucaipa #yucaipa #1953 #family #christian #yucaipasbest #yucaipablvd #aaaapproved #repairservice #waynesalvatti #godisgood #covidsafe read more

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Yucaipa Auto Electric for about 5 years now. We've always found they take excellent care of our vehicles for a fair price and with friendliness. They also never try to upsell you with items you don't really need just so they can make a profit. We needed to have some electrical work done to our Ford pick-up this week, which of course they completed quickly. But what really impressed us was their response to our COVID19 concerns. We're both over 70 and have a few health issues so we're very cautious about public contact. When I phoned to ask if they wear masks in the office, I believe it was Sterling who said no but he gladly suggested moving our appointment to a time when no other customers would be in the office and he'd wear a mask for us. Pretty darn accommodating, right? But then he called back and said how about we do a no-contact appointment? Just leave the key in the truck when you drop it off. When it was complete, he called to get our payment info and then left the truck in the parking lot with the key on the seat. All very simple and we really appreciated their concern for our well-being. read more

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was driving out the 10 freeway to Joshua Tree with plans to go photograph Comet Neowise. All running fine until heading up the hill towards Yucaipa, when I had a sudden check engine light and my engine temp flew over to hot. I pulled off at the first exit and AAA handled the rest. (AAA selected and towed my '03 2500 Dodge Ram long-bed, 4-door pickup with ease.) Yucaipa accepted my towed vehicle as I couldn't ride with the tow truck driver having passengers, a dog, and due to COVID-19 pandemic. The gentleman on the call processed my vehicle right over the phone with the most courteous customer service personality. So polite, reassuring, and really put me at ease leaving my truck in an unfamiliar community. I felt my truck was in a safe place. I really was impressed that they sent me a text with all the contact information to my cell phone while I was on the call, just to confirm all the contact numbers were in place. Thank you! This is huge bonus as I am dyslexic and often transpose the order of numbers. I loved too that I could simply text with questions, they were quick to respond too. (How techie is that? I love it!) The very next morning, I was provided a reassuring call that they had already diagnosed my truck. (I didn't have to call like most service centers), they had the cost already figured out, included a AAA discount without being asked. I really felt the company was looking out for my best interests. Best of all, picked up my truck today and it is running great, keeping a good temperature again. If I lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular customer for regular maintenance. Prices seemed fair, the receipt was exactly what I was quoted. Thank you for making a stressful situation as positive as possible. read more

Sterling went over and above to fix my vehicle and make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Sterling and yucaipa Auto electric

Had an issue starting the car the guys took a look figured out the problem quickly and replaced my engine starter. My Ford Escape needed a new ignition (and that's all I thought it needed). Ordinarily that would not be a big deal but the repair snowballed into the repair from hell through no fault of this shop. They kept after it until they diagnosed the real problem. Too complicated for me to explain! All the while Yucaipa Auto Electric kept me updated on progress. They are thorough and very much experts in electrical systems. Once they zeroed in on the issue, they stayed late to get me back on the road. They're now in my contacts for all electrical issues! They are reasonable and they absolutely know their stuff. Their shop is clean and equipped with all the latest computerized equipment. Go see them; you'll be glad you did! read more

Wow..... I had to read some of the reviews to make sure I was at the right place. AAA towed my son's car that wouldn't start from school. A cam sensor and this other sensor was recommended to replace. Total bill 548.00$ which includes parts, labor and diagnostics. The part at auto zone is 25-33$ each. This place wanted 117$ each. Long story short, got the car towed from there to "My Garage" in Redlands. Total bill there 120$. I understand that everyone need to make a living, I get it but Damnnnnnnnn !!! They still got me for 100 bucks for the diagnostic. FYI ,don't always go with the AAA recommended repair shops. read more
