I have been taking my car to Dinosaur Tires for years. Mostly for oil changes and tires. I have…read morealways had a positive experience. Never had issues with my oil changes or tire replacements. The staff is always friendly and courteous. This year (2026) had an opportunity to use Dinosaur for a couple of issues with my vehicle besides oil change and tire. The first issue happened to be with my driver side window sticking and not rolling up properly and some wiring issues. Dinosaur diagnosed my car with some of the hoses and wiring chewed by rats or mice (Subaru uses a soy based wire installation that rats love. This issue I believe was repaired. They had to order a part from Subaru for the window, so I was told, and I paid for that repair at a total of $600. However, no more than 3 weeks later, my driver side window was doing exactly what it was before where it would stick but eventually roll up. I should have taken it back then, and had them redo the work. I got busy and time went buy. A couple months later, I then needed my regular oil change and my AC was not getting as cool as it use to. No noises, no other issues just not getting as cool as it use to. So I took it in to Dinosaur for the oil change and to diagnose the AC problem. They asked me to leave the car for two days. When the called me on the second day, they told me the oil change was done but to fix the AC, the car needed a new Serpentine Belt and Serpentine Tensioner at a cost of service and parts of $600. I asked them how these parts were causing the problem and how it would remedy the AC problem? However the mechanic who worked on my car was not there on Saturday, so they could not give me the reasons until Monday when the mechanic was there. I was not able to afford the $600 repair that month anyway, so I mentioned I would have to have the AC fixed later next month. So I picked up my car, they changed the oil and also replaced the cabin filter. Once I got in my car to drive home, the AC was working perfectly. I am not sure what they did, but I almost paid an additional $600 to Dinosaur for something they said I needed but did not. I further verified this with my nephew who is a certified auto mechanic for Porsche. He told me that the Serpentine Belt and Serpentine Tensioner would have nothing to do with the coldness of the AC. He stated if I was having problems with those parts, I certainly would have heard something in my car and my car was making no noise. As kind and courtesy as everyone is at Dinosaur tires, I will not be taking my car back to them knowing they almost charged me $600 for a repair I did not need. And now I wonder if they actually even ordered a part from Subaru for my window since it still isn't working properly after that $600 repair. So the moral of this story is I will be finding a new car mechanic. As far as tires and oil changes? Dinosaur may be fine (though they charged me $200 for my oil change) But if you need more advanced work on your vehicle, I would not recommend them. Sorry Dinosaur.

I never felt they were selling me anything that wasn't needed and they were always upfront about cost. Will continue to come here for my tire needs. They have done mechanical work...PERFECT on high end cars and computers. Plus the provided me with high end tires and wheels. I had my tires aligned there and wheels placed on MBZ and 760 LI and Optima SX Turbo... with no issue. My car was taken in within 15 minutes. They promised to have my car done within an hour and they were done prior to that time. They gave me the results of my alignments which I have never received from any other shop. They replaced a right rearview mirror and had to reconnect the computer and make all the lights and bells work due to the crazy electronics of cars today...reset the brain and had the car working in an hour. I send all my friends to Toro in Calimesa...and they also installed a rear camera and dash camera in my Mercedes. Super happy with everything! Then there is a guy named Ismael. He always follows up with a phone call a few days later to make sure everything is alright. They made a house call with a battery for my fathers....S - CLASS BENZ. That was amazing. Then Ismael took my dads car to the carwash as he felt it was toooooo dirty. That was very amazing and cool. I have referred 7 people to Toro and not one of my friends will go anywhere else...and not one have had a complaint. That is very relieving as I do not normally refer folks to places as if they do a bad job then it can ruin a friendship. So...I feel very confident when my folks...head out to Toro. They did a transmission for a Mazda 3 on my assistants car a few months ago and he says it has not driven any better and have driven it to San Francisco five times since the transmission complete install. Their one mechanic appeared very knowledgeable! This crew gets 5 stars for sure!

We drove over to Yeager Diesel, and he diagnosed the issue almost immediately. He knew we were on the road, knew we were worried about whether it was safe to keep driving, and took the time to explain exactly what was happening. Most importantly, he told us honestly that our RV was safe to drive back home to Wildomar and explained what needed to be repaired. He could easily have taken advantage of two travelers with an RV problem in the heat, but instead, he didn't charge us a dime. And the best part? He was absolutely right about his diagnosis. Talk about an honest man. Knowledgeable, kind, straightforward, and willing to help simply because it was the right thing to do. My…read moreexperience started off as good, the owner talks nice to you & it seemed like he try's to take care of his mistakes at first but after a while it was just giving me the run around. I took my car in last year around Beginning of march For colisión repair. They kept the car for like 4 months if not more. So then I pick up the car once it's ready and I notice some parts are missing, so I let the owner know and he said he would take care of it. So I told him to get me the parts and then I would take it in, I was trying to avoid the car being there forever again. So after that it was just the typical shop run aroun, (the parts are on back order) (we can't find the parts anywhere) So meanwhile I decided to inspect the car further and I noticed they just did a horrible job all around. The hood doesn't even line up properly, My bumper started coming off almost right away on both sides, the rear tail lights are missing pieces on the inner side, they also didn't put the left & right brake light harness on so only the third brake light works. And now a year later I decided to finally do this review because my wife got home and the front emblem On the grille completely fell off. I never wanted to do the review because as a business owners myself I don't wanna ruin other peoples stuff. But this is just ridiculous. I have messages & proof of everything, the last message I have is where he's saying the parts are on backorder. So I decided to not go back because I knew for a fact the car would be there forever again. Point is I never got it fixed anywhere else either because I had already spent a lot of money with these guys & now half the car is falling apart.
