Took it to INTEGRITY , Pat diagnosed it as bent heat shield rubbing against something.He said all he did was to straighten it and the sound went away. NO CHARGE. They found that the cap was off the radiator and the engine was running hot. They cooled the engine, replaced the coolant, put on a new cap, and we were out of there in 45 minutes. Patrick is such an amazing person! Long story short, I was on the 10 freeway and blew a tire on my trailer. I was able to get off the freeway and hobble into the parking lot of his shop. Although they didn't have a trailer tire, he let me take his personal truck to drive to Harbor Freight to go buy the tires!!! Who lets a stranger take their truck? Well, Patrick does. While I was off buying the tire, he repaired my rear trailer light that had broken during the trip from Arizona. Free of charge! He gave me a new rubber gasket, properly shrink wrapped all the wires (they only had old electrical tape holding them together) and fixed my light! Who does that? Patrick does. When I returned with the tires, he replaced both of them (the other one looked like it might go soon) and filled them to the proper air pressure. I asked him what I owed and offered to buy lunch on top of it. He said just to buy lunch and we would call it even! Well, I didn't feel right about that and gave him money which he tried to return some of it. Absolutely not! This guy was our god send and I will sing his praises to all who will listen! Our family lives and travels full time in a school bus we converted into an RV. When it started overheating on the hills, we thought it would be easy enough to swap out the thermostat like we've done in the past. This time, though, a bolt broke while we were reassembling the housing, leaving it stuck and leaking like crazy. Without the right extraction tools, we knew we needed help removing the bolt without damaging the housing, so we started calling mechanics all over town. Everybody said no, they couldn't help. Then we tried limping it to a few places to beg them to look at it and nobody would touch it. The only place that agreed to try said "we'll have to take the whole thing apart and it's gonna be really expensive." At that point they hadn't even seen the broken bolt! We got a bad vibe from them, so we decided to try one more place and ended up here. When my husband first went in to ask if they would look at the bus, the answer was "no, sorry, we don't work on buses." After a very long and exhausting two days with four exhausted kids, I decided to go inside and beg. The owner Patrick shook his head at first, but when he saw how desperate we were, he agreed to look. After looking at the bolt, he told us they would give it a shot! Within minutes, they drilled into the broken bolt and extracted it cleanly! HALLELUJAH! I asked him how much we owed him and he said not to worry about it and wished us well. We're just passing through and will probably never be back to this shop, but are so grateful and so appreciative we are for the work they did today. Thank you so, so much, Integrity. I had a serious engine problem while driving down the I 10 and my map "Search Nearby" feature led me to Integrity Auto Service. They were able to evaluate the car right away, and Pat let me know very clearly that the engine was fried and there was nothing he could do. They were kind enough to let me melt down a little in their waiting area and make many phone calls as I dealt with this terrible news. He directed me to the closest Hyundai dealer and was so kind as to advise me not to leave valuables in the parking lot and directed me towards a place to stay. I offered to cover the cost of the oil that he used in his evaluation and he smiled and said don't worry about it. I am so grateful I broke down in Banning and not on the side of I-10 and brought my car into Integrity. Their name says it all. Well I am sure they do very good work, I saw FedEx trucks being worked on and I don't think Fed Ex would entrust their trucks to just anyone. However, I will never experience their good work. I guess they are so busy no one could assist me until Monday. Did not even look at my car. I did not get the impression of a customer Service friendly environment. My battery was draining when I got to the shop. I turned off the engine to talk to the mechanic (Pat). He said the shop was closed and referred me to the Good Year shop nearby. When I tried to start my car, it didn't start since the battery was dead at that time. Pat was kind enough to charge my battery while he's wrapping up for the day. My battery was charged up enough to get me to the Good Year shop. He also sent another mechanic there to lead me to the Good Year shop to make sure I got there. The whole process took about two days (only because one of the codes for the light took a little extra time) and when my wife didn't understand the mechanical jargon the owner called me later that night and give me a breakdown of what needed to be fixed and the price couldn't be beat... Came here for the first time to get an oil change and have my back brakes checked out due to making weird noises. They were extremely busy but took us anyways. We left the car with them. The owner called me a bit later to tell me that we didn't need back brakes and that the noises are common with our car. He could have easily charged me for brakes and I wouldn't have been any wiser. Yelp helped again in a big way. Traveling 700 miles from home and discovered a major leak in our 2004 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. Saw one repair shop on Google maps that had horrible reviews so passed on that one to give Integrity a try and I am so glad we did. Pat asked us to give them an hour before bringing our truck over and we did. They were ready for us when we arrived and had the truck in a bay within minutes to confirm our problem.
