My wife and I are out touring National parks with our 5th wheel. We had run into Moab for propane and on the way out of town I heard a noise that was the right front brakes going metal to metal. I did a search and Point S Tires came up, I gave them a call and Colby had me come in the first thing the following morning. I dropped the truck off at 7:30, even though they don't open until 8:00 and received a call from the shop at 10:30 telling me the truck was done. When I went to pick the truck up, I was pleasantly surprised by the total price. When I got back to my 5th wheel and reviewed the receipt I was concerned that the shop had only charged me for one rotor. I gave them a call to ensure that I had paid for the complete services rendered and the Lady on the phone pulled up my invoice and assured me that I had paid for everything. So if you have an issue with your vehicle on your travels to Moab, I would strongly recommend that you reach out to Point S. If I lived here they would be my go to shop. Thanks again Colby and team! read more

I stopped by Point S bc a guy from an auto store recommended I get my tire checked if the tire pressure seemed low, possibly due to a slow leak, and due to the weekend coming up, I should go there today (Friday). These guys were able to get me in within a few minutes and it was determined that I had a puncture. They were able to get it repaired within 15minutes or so. I was on a road trip from another state and it had snowed, so it was a relief. They were very nice and would definitely recommend them. read more

Was in from Houston TX to attend the RAM RALLY in Moab UT. Went out on the trails and started hearing a clanking noise. Called them and dropped it off and 3 1/2 hrs late they had it fixed. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

Point S - Auto Repair Near Me - Moab, Utah

Great services. Our car battery light was on during our drive from Capitol Reef to Moab. It kept on and off. We drove the car to Point S to check and thought we might need a battery replacement. They checked the battery for us and it wasn't the battery problem. Alternator seems working within range so we don't know exactly what happened. They suggested us to bring the car in next time when the battery light is on again. No charge for us. Appreciate their professional service and detailed explanation. read more

After having 2 separate issues with our Jeep (go figure) the team at Point S went above and beyond to help and get us back on the trail and back home to California. Colby and Anthony were knowledgable, helpful (understatement) and did 2 quality repairs! read more

Tires came in under budget. They did not have the fire stone tires that they have in their advertisements. Final price came in under the estimate. There was a snafu in the morning where they didn't think they had the tire after we waited a day for it, but it ended up they actually did. read more

I asked how long it would take to get an oil change on my F150. I was told 30 minutes. Three people who came in after me left long before my truck was done. It took 117 minutes. The price was double what I am used to paying. When I complained I was told I should get my oil changed before I go on vacation. I took that to mean if you are from out of town they double the price. The person ahead of me paid less than half the price I did. Don't go to Moab and expect to be treated fairly. read more

We were in Moab on vacation and our back wheel area started making a horrible noise! Point S absolutely saved the day! They got our car fixed quickly and let us have our dogs inside while we waited. The whole crew was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. If we lived closer they would have just earned our permanent business. read more

Really helped me with my civic when I was in a pinch at the last minute! Would totally come back anytime my car is making a weird noise, they were very helpful and nice. read more

While leaving Moab to head back home, after the 2024 Easter Jeep Safari, I noticed I had picked-up a screw in my rear tire. Point S Tire Factory got us squared away and back on the road in less than an hour. Beadlock wheels are not a problem for their shop. Shout out to Colby (owner) and special thanks to Jayminn (Technician) for everything! Thanks again, Shawn https://revkit.com/troublemaker/ read more

Fixed our tire the same day but wouldn't mount it. Kinda bullshit. They didn't tell us they would not be able to Mount it or offer to schedule the mounting beforehand. They say it's a manning issue however it feels more like a scheduling issue. Would not recommend. read more

They appear to be making so much money they do not care about their customers. No sense of urgency and very very high priced in my opinion. Just be careful. read more

I don't know what the 2 bad reviews are about because this place was amazing. Yes, I had to wait a bit but that's because they were slammed! I showed up right as they opened at 8 and was 6th in line so of course there'll be a little wait. Being busy like that is a great sign about their reputation in my opinion. Prices were fair also!! All good things come to those who wait!! Thank you Colby and Mrs Colby!! read more

DANGER!!! When I say Point S almost killed my wife and baby you may think I'm exaggerating but let me explain. I had Point S rotate and balance my tires. Everything seemed fine until my wife was getting ready to return from seeing her family and her dad noticed one lug nut was missing on a front tire. Upon further inspection all of the lug nuts were loose on that tire and all the other tires had loose lug nuts. This happens when install produces are ignored and lug nuts aren't tightened correctly. If they aren't tightened correctly, over time vibrations will loosen the lug nuts until they fall off and eventually the tire falls off too. At speed or on a turn this will likely crash and kill you. My wife was getting ready to drive a windy canyon highway. Nobody would have known why my wife ran off the road and kill herself and our baby. read more

Had a nail in my tire and they got me on my way even though they were busy! Would go there again. read more

Picked up a nail somewhere during the last 600 miles we've driven, these folks plugged the tire ASAP while we had lunch next door. There was a short wait when we returned and listening to them speak with people on the phone tells you a lot about how they value their clients. Nice people and the tire is holding up well. read more

Quick repair of a punctured tire by a team of knowledgeable guys put us back on the road to our vacation. Highly recommend this business!

This place is awesome! They saved my spring break vacation. Customer service was fantastic and they hooked me up with a good deal on tires. Most importantly got the work done quickly. Thank you thank you thank you read more

Totally recommended. I had a wheel bearing failure and had my heavy van towed in. Colby and Carol were the primary people I worked with. Extremely honest, and steered me towards what needed to be done. They had a lot of patience with my incessant questions. Prices were very reasonable. They replaced two front hub assemblies, differential fluid change, and did a thorough inspection read more

My friend and I LOVE Point S! It has often been my experience when I had gone to a repair shop that there was a lot of hemming and hawing about all the work needing to be done, how much time is involved to complete the work; and, of course, how much money it may take to finish the work. I've often felt I was an imposition. This doesn't happen at Point S! EXPECT TO BE TREATED WELL, to receive quick and courteous service, and not to have to pay an arm and a leg for the work completed! YOU'LL BE IN GOOD HANDS AT Point S! read more

Never would I have imagined visiting Moab in a million years, let alone getting a flat tire with no spare in the middle of moonflower canyon. Colby and his boys drove me back and forth from car to shop in his truck. Filled my tire up in BFE and professionally patched it at his shop. Hope you guys enjoyed the whiskey! read more

Point S - camaro '16 - Auto Repair Near Me - Moab, Utah

We were traveling through Moab and a part failed on our truck. After speaking with Point S they assured us that if we got the part ( which we did shout out to Josh at O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Moab) and we showed up first thing in the morning ( which we did), they could get us in and out. However, when we checked in Hans said they would likely get to it within the hour. An hour passed, we checked in and were told that now it would be at least two days! He said their mechanic had been out the day before and now they were two days behind. WHY DID HE NOT TELL US THIS WHEN WE VERY FIRST CALLED? VERY very poor customer service. Do not recommend. read more

Our jeep started leaking fluids after spending the day over landing in Moab! We called around to the local auto shops and Point S Moab was the only shop that would even offer to take a quick look! Colby was absolutely amazing and we were able to get our issue resolved and back on the road again within 15 minutes! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone visiting Moab! Thank you Colby, you rock! read more

The folks at Point S were already super busy and backed up on a holiday weekend when I had my minivan towed to them. They got me in and diagnosed quickly and helped me brainstorm the arrangements I needed to figure out in order to keep us moving on our trip. I was grateful for the air conditioning, water, and work space while I figured out my arrangements. They were flexible, understanding, knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind. Best of all, I thought I'd have to junk my van and they got it rolling again. Grateful for this crew. Highly recommend. read more

Passing through to see the parks and needed an oil change. Came in for a quick change and come to find out my vehicle didnt have a proper alignment. The tires on the inside were worn. I'm so greatful the mechanics noticed and brought that to my attention. I still had to get back to California!! And we had other parks to stop at on our vacation. These guys all saved our trip. They got my new tires! And an alignment done by noon!! They went over everything with me. I'm surprised somewhere so remote(to me) would have those tires(nothing special just new to me as they are 18s) but they had a full set and had me ready to confidentially hit the highway. I'm now home and a happy girl. The car drives great. Just has a slight shake at 80mph(Nevada speeds) but hey! You got me home I'll gladly take car of that read more

On our way across beautiful Moab from the blizzard-bombed Colorado mountains, my tire went flat. After a minor mental breakdown (yay vacation!), we found Point S was the closest place with tires and stopped in. Though they were busy, I was helped right away. Colby asked me if the tire might be salvageable, and when I told him I didn't know, he came out and looked at it. Although Meineke had checked my tires not even a month ago, he immediately saw something wrong with it, showed me what it was, and explained why it was messed up. This was incredibly refreshing--most men treat women at auto shops condescendingly, but I could tell that Colby actually cared. He gave me a variety of tires to chose from and took my driving habits into consideration (long distance and occasional off-roader). He gave me an amazing deal (seriously, these guys are so competitive, you will NOT find a better deal on anything you need done. I checked online) and when he found out my brakes were ground to dust, he replaced those too, again for an amazing price. He even took off extras that were standard for the work I got done but didn't apply to me since I was going back to Indiana (no Point S's there). Colby, his wife (didn't grab your name--I am so sorry!), and point S Moab are amazing. This review may be long, but it's because I have never had such a pleasant, respectful, courteous visit to an auto shop of any kind. Thank you for getting me back on the road and safely home! read more

Point S - beautiful tires in beautiful Moab (plus my camera) - Auto Repair Near Me - Moab, Utah

*disclaimer: my car was not actually serviced here, but I am posting this review in regards to their customer service. In my flurry of panic and activity, I don't remember what his name was, but I'd like to thank the really kind man who took the effort to look at my car twenty minutes before closing and gave me a really honest and helpful opinion. This incident happened in May 2018. I drive a Toyota Corolla. I was in the fourth day of an eight-day road trip in Utah and Arizona (from California). On , on my way to Arches NP, my "check engine" light came on, as well as my "traction off indicator"...and then my car started lurching occasionally when I accelerated. I was a bit concerned (my car only has about 30k miles on it) so I rushed to have someone check it out since I am so far from home and still have a ways to go. The nice man at the counter came out to look at my car even though they were about to close, and he ran codes to identify the problem. He was upfront and honest that there was nothing he could do nor was there any shop that he would recommend for my car (Toyota is not a common car out in Utah), but that if I didn't notice any other operational issues, my car should be fine to drive until I could make it to a Toyota dealership. He recommended the dealership because my car was so new that any of the issues that could cause the code would be under warranty. While nothing was actually done, he gave me and my friends some peace of mind to finish our trip, and we made it back to California without any issues. I just want to thank him and Point S for being so kind and helping three girls out! read more

First full day in Moab and our power steering goes out and we snap the serpentine belt literally at the Arches National Park, in the Visitor Center. Didn't even get up to see anything, but incredibly grateful that it didn't happen during the snowstorm on 191 the night before. Once we got towed into Point S, the guys took a look under the hood, knew exactly what was up, parts had to be ordered which came in the next day and they had us rolling out and back on the road in 36 hrs. We've driven 715 miles on to our next adventure and super solid. Thank you so much Colby & team super easy to work with and great communication! read more

Had the best experience with this shop!! We were traveling from Bryce Canyon to Moab when I heard a rock / object go under the car (I think a truck kicked it up) and then about ten minutes later the "low tire pressure" light went on. We were able to limp to a service exit and I could feel that my back tire was low on air. We filled it back up and were able to make it to this shop in Moab. As it was a rental car, these folks could have took us to the cleaners and told us that we needed new tires, etc. Instead, they were HONEST and GREAT to work with. They looked at the tire, found it to be a "rock punture" and patched it for $25. They were just great to work with. I have never had such service in any tire shop and felt very fortunate to come across this place. I HIGHLY recommend them! A+ for service and professionalism! read more

These gentlemen were amazing!!! I live 350 miles away and had a flat tire while here in Moab. The tire could not be repaired, but they found me a used tire that was a good match for my other three tires so I could make it back home and have the dealership that I bought the tire from replace it. The price was great, the customer care fantastic. They could have taken advantage of someone from out of town but were good Samaritans... and I am so thankful read more

Brought in our vehicle to check our brake system since I had a warning light come on. They checked the system and assured us we were good to drive it home to replace a sensor. They couldn't get the part since the vehicle is so new. They could have totally taken advantage of an out of state visitor but instead took care of us quickly!! Great customer service!! read more

They returned our calls, great communication, got us in right away, and had a friendly service the entire crew!! BRAVO!

These guys went WAY out of their way for me, in getting my buggy set up. Spent extra time making sure I knew all the challenges and gave me some options if not thought of previously. All in all, an outstanding experience, and I would HIGHLY recommend these guys to others. I'll be using them next time I have an issue, for sure!! Thanks for the amazing service, guys! -Kevin read more

Visitors of Moab - We had just come off a few days off roading in the backcountry and our alignment was very off. We had another week of driving around Utah and Colorado before we went home to Chicago so we needed to get it fixed ASAP. These guys were able to get us in same day and had it fixed within 3 hours of dropping the vehicle off. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, we'd give them 10 stars if we could. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I would definitely recommend them because they have excellent customer service. Our Jeep broke down before the Canyonlands entrance and we had called around trying to find a place to tow it. (We don't live here) We got many answers from others such as "we are backed up and won't be able to look at it for another 2 weeks" or "well what can I do about it" seriously? We called this place and Colby said right away, tow it here and we can look at it. That's all we wanted was someone to look at it so we would know what our next step would be. Someone to diagnose the problem. We didn't need it to sit there for 2 weeks just for someone to "look at it" and tell us what the problem was. I know everyone is backed up but we needed to find out what our next step would be. The front desk even took time to call around for an Uber or Lyft or any taxi service to get us to our place so we can get our RV to tow our Jeep home. They were very nice and got us answers right away when the other 3 or 4 places we called were NOT helpful at all!!! Thank you again for helping us!!! 10 stars! read more

We got a flat late Friday afternoon in Moab, a town where the tire shops are closed on the weekend. We had 400 miles to go to get home for work on Monday and knew we couldn't make it on the little mini-spare that came with the car. These wonderful folks took time from their very busy day to come across the street to check out the tire then found another shop in town that had a tire that would fit Everyone was super friendly and we are very grateful for them going over and above to get us back on the road. Thanks, Point S Moab. read more

We got a flat on our rental van. Called Enterprise and they told us we were SOL! AAA told us to go to this place. Bad news.. driving on the flat caused it so the tire couldn't be fixed! Suck... I'm thinking a new tire in a small tourist town on a very busy holiday weekend is going to be hundreds!!! Nope, they got us a used one, still with lots of tread, out the door, change and all for $50. On top of that, they were super friendly and fast. I couldn't recommend this place more. read more

Corina and the crew at Point S are solid! I had some fairly simple work that needed to get done on my Class A Motorhome. Now, be forewarned, they can't do everything for these kinds of RV's and you have very limited options for motorhome service in Moab. So your mileage may vary and they may not be able to assist. But I just needed to change out fuel filters when my check engine light went out and I didn't have the tools I needed to get it done myself. I worked with Corina to understand what they could and couldn't do. I sourced my own parts and I diagnosed my own issue. Corina also went above and beyond to ensure they could do the work by sending pics back and forth (I have a side mounted radiator on a diesel pusher and the work was on parts directly exposed when you open the engine compartment). We got on the same page about what needed to be done and got it scheduled. When I came in, the crew was friendly and communicative. Super helpful and they got everything done in a quick and reasonable amount of time. I wish every repair shop interaction was like this. A++ read more
