This company is a joke! I was stuck in the desert with my wife and son, temperature around freezing on 3/29/24. My son and I hiked out around a mile to the highway and finally got cell phones reception and called Tic Tac Tow for help. The loud cow who picked up would not help at all and actually hung up on me. I am disabled and we were getting very nervous. I called back and a man answered and told me he won't even talk to me without exact GPS location and photos and then he hung up on me. Luckily a nice couple pulled over and gave us a ride into Moab and the 911 dispatcher called Nations Towing for us and told us Tic Tac Tow sucks! Nations picked us up and had us pulled out in 5 minutes. DO NOT USE TIC TAC TOW!!!!! They do not deserve a one star review!! read more

Highly recommend if you're stuck somewhere in Moab. These guys rock and were able to get my car out of thick clay and mud without damaging it. They were very thorough and careful, but furthermore they were so reassuring and kind. We were pretty freaked out considering we were close to a cliff, and they did an amazing job of making us feel safe and taken care of. A friend of mine as used Tic Tac Tow and had only good things to say about their services. WARNING - I personally used Desert Hill Towing, out of Green River (30min from Moab). I had an awful experience with them. I called to get my camper van towed as I got stuck in a soft gravel road. Someone came an hour later to assess the situation and gave me a price of $150\hr, and said it would cost me $300 (travel time) plus the time to get the van out, so roughly $375-400 as it was an easy tow. He came back with a tow truck and someone else that seemed to be his boss. After not even 30min, the van was out and I then got told that it would cost me $800! After explaining to his boss the deal his colleague and I had made during its first visit, he wouldn't listen to me. We ended up calling the police who spent an hour trying to solve the issue. The police did confirm to me that this price was way off for a 2.5 hr service and that such practices have been seen before. I ended up paying $520. Desert Hill Towing can not be trusted and I strongly recommend not using them. There are other good companies out there like Tic Tac Tow. read more

AAA connected me to TicTacTow when I got a flat and was stuck on a turn off point on the 191. I received blunt questions asking if my MINI VAN was a camper van. Ray, the man in charge of this "towing" place said that because I had a mattress in my mini van he could not service me. I have never been denied service, especially bc I had a small foldable mattress in the trunk of my car I had to wait for 3 hours on the side of the highway in the dark. Just me and my friend two girls until another tow truck company could get to us. Mike who came from Steele towing and recovery I believe came all the way from Greenriver and wasn't even at the shop. He helped us immediately. Gave me a tire shop recommendation and was SO sweet. Unlike my experience with tictactow who wouldn't even come see my vehicle. They just denied me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Will not tow out of Moab. Will not go see your vehicle when stranded off the 191. TERRIBLE read more

My car needed to be towed from falcon flow parking lot. My insurance started to work with this company and two hours later I find out that they will not work with me. And they were way over priced about $200 more than what the other towing company here in Moab charges. The the woman we talked to was not kind and not easy to work with. I will remember not to call this company again. read more

We highly recommend Tic Tac Tow to anyone who needs roadside towing services. We were on a 4 hour drive from Salt Lake City to Moab. When we were only about 18 miles to Moab, our rental SUV got a flat tire on highway 191 at around 7pm on Sunday. We called our rental car company, who said we would need to wait for 5 hours until 11 pm, since the fastest they could do is to find someone to get us another car from Salt Lake City. We searched on Yelp and called Nations Towing which showed up on Yelp search. Nations towing said "will be there in about one and a half hour." We waited for 2 hours on the side of the highway until 9pm. It got completely dark and the temperature started to go down. However, nobody from Nations Towing showed up. At 9pm, we decided to call 911. The 911 dispatcher put us in hold, then had Tic Tac Tow call us for our location. Ray and his partner/wife? from Tic Tac Tow showed up in only 30 minutes to rescue us. They were quick and professional. They had the rental SUV secured to their tow truck, got our family into the back seats of their truck, and drove us to our lodging place in Moab. We can't thank Tic Tac Tow enough for their prompt show up, very reasonable price, and efficient service. Ray and his partner were very friendly. They gave us a lot of useful information about the parks that we would be going in the next few days. They even helped us tow our rental car to a local tire shop to have the flat tire changed in the morning. Thank you Tic Tac Tow, for making our rough travel day so much better. Absolutely AMAZING. They saved my ass. I drove to a road northwest of Arches made out of clay in a 2-wheel drive Jetta (horrible idea I know). The road was mostly fine on the way in but it started raining while we were hiking. By the time we returned to our car, it was in a river of wet clay (5 inches deep) and going nowhere. I called AAA and Nation's Towing originally. Waited hours for them and then they gave up before reaching us because they were getting stuck as well. Hiked out that night through the muck and hitchhiked back to Moab. Wish I had just called Tic Tac Tow in the first place! The next morning I called them and they braved the insane clay mud in their Jeep. Winched the car out against all odds, towed me part of the way when I got stuck again, built a bridge over a gap for my car, and were incredibly professional the whole time. The best. read more

You hope you never need a tow, but if you do, hopefully the experience will be as good as ours was. After a rain storm we hit a rock on Rt. 128 outside of Moab. We called our insurance company who got in touch with Tic Tac Tow. They were there very quickly and had our car up on the lift in no time. We rode in the truck back to Moab--even our dog. We were dropped off at a reliable repair shop and given info on local hotels and restaurants where our dog would be welcome. Five stars at least. read more
