Terrible customer service and loud music- especially having to call 30 time and being given the runaround. They just leave your pod hanging out and cannot even tell you where your belongings are and do not care if they are subject to heat and elements. Customer reps cannot hold a call without accidentally hanging up - thats if you get through at all- the wait music is terrible -especially after thirty calls to confirm an order that was confirmed and not fulfilled. Drivers call with ETA and then never show. They are totally unreliable. And managers are nowhere to be found. These guys do not have their act together. Go elsewhere. read more

First of all, they put the pod in facing away from the condo building. I was also billed twice in one month, and it took them 4 months to refund my money. I called several times about the billing issue, and each time I was told some one would call me back. I email the gentlemen over-seeing my account about the billing issue, and it took him 5 weeks to respond to my email. I received a quote on how much it would cost to have the pod moved to the new locations and was given a confirmation number. When I call to schedule the move using the confirmation number two days later, I was told that price was no longer any good, even though they told me quotes are good for seven days. The customer service reps rarely know what's going on when you call them. It was overall convenient to move my things and store them in the short time I had to move, and because I didn't have a home yet to put my things right away, it all worked out, but this company can do a better job in every area. read more

I can't give them zero stars and that is the real tragedy. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They didn't have a problem taking my money and putting my family in financial distress though. I ordered their service and when I scheduled to get my pod delivered, they said that they could not service my new area. The associate who took my order put in the wrong zip code and I have been paying $300 a month beside of this error. I am also going to have to pay another company to unload and deliver my items to my correct address. This will cost thousands. I sincerely hope you do not use this company. Pods was supposed to deliver my Pod but delivered someone elses instead. Left me and my family stranded in an empty house for a whole week with the worst customer service possible. Meanwhile another person's pod sat in my driveway that came from a different state. Imagine if this family knew their belongings were not where they were supposed to be. Noone ever reached out to resolve the situation. I was promised a phone call. I have emailed and left voicemails. I even tried emailing the president with no response. Do your research and see how many people are dissatisfied with Pods. It shows in all their reviews. I will never use them again and I will be very vocal with how terrible they are. PODS is truly one of the absolute most dishonest and terrible companies I have ever used for relocation. They over charge for everything then never call you back or return emails. They even refused to come pick the pods back up on the scheduled date and now our driveway will be blocked for the holidays. They are even charging us while we have their empty pods!! It's insane. We have used PODS on two separate occasions. The first time everything was smooth and had no issues. This last time is a different story. We hired movers to fill our container. They packed everything tight and had things help down by cargo straps. When we got to our destination while unloading the container, items on the one side of the unit were smashed and damaged. Only one side. Now we filed a claim since they stated they had insurance for damages. We found we had around $3000 in damages. Well PODS did their investigation and stated that it was nothing on their end, that we packed poorly and it was not loaded correctly. We asked then why was it only on one side, like the unit was dropped or tipped or hit? They said it was not their issue. So, I must say we will never use PODs again. What's the point of stating your items are insured but they will just push the blame off on the customer. read more

Long story. Spent over 3k storing our household/personal stuff. Now, today, POD is auctioning all our stuff. I went through severe illness and brain trauma last year. I still suffer from cognitive issues which caused me to often misunderstand what was being told to me by this company. By the time I started to recover mentally, POD told me it was too late to do anything. All our family photos, wedding dress, our kid's stuff...all gone because of POD not caring about people. I have begged them to please help and be understanding due to my health problems and just nothing. No compassion whatsoever. Now what are we going to do? Their quotes are not consistent. Call one day and it can be several $100 different. Asked why and they say it depends. They also sneak in insurance on the first payment that's not on the original quote. When asked if they can deliver to a different city, this initiated another quote and increased the monthly costs. When asked why, told that the other city had to assist in the moving of the pod. So the pod will be stored in the same city for 3 years but now I have to pay $88 more a month so the POD company in the other city can help move the pod in 3 years. Wow. PODS is horrible. Like many others in Los Angeles who stored their belongings in the Compton storage facility, when I opened up the POD, it was filled with mouse feces and urine. Our rug worth $1000 was completely ruined and had to be disposed. Our treadmill worth $2000 was severely damaged. Clothing and personal belongings were filled of excrement and had to be either thrown away and washed. We spent days cleaning our belongings. The mice GNAWED their way through the plastic. I filed a claim with Pods the next day and was told the claims department would call me back and resolve it within 3 days. After not hearing from them, I called back and told it was assigned to Heather and she would call me back. I called her 5 times and just got her voicemail. After 3 weeks, Heather did call me back and refused to take responsibility for the claim. Heather said the contract that I signed had a clause that exempts rodent infestation that was on my account on the pods website. When I told her that I paid the Pods fee to have my belongings returned in the same condition I left them, she again said that she won't pay anything. I looked on the website and the contract was not there. I called Heather back and left a message for her to show me where the contract is and she didn't call me back. The email she gave me did not work. The bottom line is I paid over $6700 for having my belongings safely stored by Pods and they did not do their end of the agreement in keeping my belongings safe due to the rodent infestation at their Compton facility. If you want your belongings to come back in the same condition you left them, don't use PODS! read more

WORST MOVERS EVER!!! Dropped off the last of my furniture to a pod and told staff it was OK to ship it to GA. After travel to GA, settled into new job and started home shopping. After closing 3 months later I called to get directions to pod and they said was still in NM. I had saved voicemail of confirmation that pod had been shipped. I complained and even with voicemail proof I was told it was my fault for not following up with them everyday. Never use these people ever! read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I started having issues with this company from the moment they dropped off my container. I have made numerous phone calls and sent numerous emails and still no resolution. I'm not sure whether their customer service representative are dishonest or just incompetent. They have overcharged me for fees that I have submitted evidence to show they are not legitimate charges. I'm not sure how they can resolve issues because they obviously don't comprehend what is submitted to them in writing and their Customer Advocacy Specialist do not make or receive phone calls. It is FRAUD to charge someone for fees they did not incur. I have already emailed socialmedia@pods.com and provided my Customer ID #142385053 and they failed to refund my money. We had a move from Boston to SF and the POD customer service provided us with horrible service. First, they provided us with wrong information on the price and then they continued changing the price with out providing any information. The did not provide us with any invoice and charge the credit card multiple times, and each time we called the customer service they came up with a new number. They never provided us with a list of costs and charged us extra $1650. We still did not receive our stuff, and there is no clarification on why they charged us. TL;DR - PODS doesn't just have bad customer service, they have none and make it almost impossible for you to talk to a person once you've already given them your deposit. I called to confirm my delivery appointment that was first thing in the a.m. the next day. They confirmed so I made sure my movers would be there in the morning. My movers were at my house from 8 am until it FINALLY showed up at 5 (no exaggeration on times). All day I was trying to get through their automated phone system that makes it impossible to speak to a real person (unless you are a "new" customer!) THREE TIMES I was hung up on when I finally reached a person, the FOURTH time she told me she was calling the local manager to find out where my POD was, and she never called me back (after making her promise to call me back because it was obvious they were avoiding me). My PODs driver was super nice but transparent when he informed me that he had only gotten the call that afternoon to go pick up my container from a location much further away from me. His takeaway was that they forgot about my POD, and probably the only reason it actually arrived was because I was calling so much. Not great when you're moving across the country and had planned to leave that afternoon. That obviously didn't happen. When you talk to your driver and customer service and they agree that PODs messed up my order, and even though I had to pay for movers to sit at my house for 6 hours longer than necessary (and had to pay them) because PODs confirmed it would be there in the morning... this was an absolutely awful experience and I will never use them again. read more

The worst customer service ever. They are only nice if you are calling to place an order. If you are an existing customer the wait is 3 times longer than if you are looking to get a quote. The wait time to get a quote is under 1 minute. The wait to speak to a customer representative is 30 minutes and longer. I had a delivery window of 8am-12pm and by 2:30 pm I got worried because it was not there. I called and the guy told it was on the schedule and to call back after 6pm if it didn't show. It didn't show. I called after 6pm and then there was nothing they could do about it because the service center from where the pods are dispatched closes at 4pm. I had to make a special request to get it the next day and it was still not guaranteed. Never again. I do not recommend at all. There are better and less expensive alternatives like Zippy Shell with honest representatives. read more

They promised a Friday drop off between 3:30pm-6:30pm. At 6:25pm they called to say they would not arrive until the following Tuesday at the earliest. After being put on hold three times over 45 minutes, the customer service supervisor offered a $60 discount. When I objected to the small amount and they would not even guarantee a delivery the following Tuesday, they disconnected me. I was upset but did not curse or demean the agents. They clearly over schedule and are not reliable. Rent a local truck, hire movers but what ever you do, avoid renting a Pod unless you want to waste time, money and be left frustrated. Don't trust them. Whatever they quote you, add 50% and two weeks. Get everything in writing. Ask about the area served by the district you're working with. Personally, I'd say save the cash and rent a moving truck, or pay what this will end up costing anyway and get a real moving service. DO NOT TRUST THEM. This company could be great. Great concept! Unfortunately, PODS is a disaster when it comes to implementation, and customer-service. We used PODS to move from one location (in a downtown area) to another (downtown Philly) and there were major problems all along the way. First, we called PODS because we were unsure if all of our stuff would fit into the 16 ft POD. The man we spoke with reassured us the 16 ft POD (the largest one they have) was more than enough room for us after explaining to him the contents of our house. Moving day comes, and GUESS WHAT... the POD is WAY too small. Had to quickly run to rent a storage unit to throw all of the extra boxes in a storage unit until we could figure out what to do with them. Unfortunately, we then had to rent a UHAUL to eventually move all of the stuff from the storage unit from the old city to our new home in Philly. YEAH... not fun. When we called to complain and request some sort of retribution, they said they would "get back to us within 48 hours." 48 hours came, no call. We called again, and was told "we'll get back to you within 48 hours." 48 hours came, no call. Call AGAIN 3-4 days later, and they had NO RECORD of our previous calls, and said "It's going to take 2 weeks to process your claim." After a month as I'm writing this review, we still haven't heard from them. PODS was also extremely late delivering the POD to Philly. No contact from our driver whatsoever. We had to call them 2-3 times to figure out where our truck was. When they tell you the 2-3 hour window... completely disregard that. They were about 4-5 hours past the 2-3 hour window they told us. While they tell you you don't have to be there when they drop the POD, ALSO disregard that. You will DEFINITELY want to be there to make sure they drop it in the right place. In the city, you have to get a permit to rent spots. Unfortunately, PODS dropped the POD right in front of our neighbors house, which was frustrating for her. She called PODS to complain, who told her "they could easily move it and would note that on your neighbors account." When we called... of course, they had no record of that complaint, and said there was no way they could move it, and wouldn't be able to be back to pick it up for days. The final icing on the cake? PODS just sent us a $300 bill for storage for THIS month, despite us having already used the POD and it being taken back last week. Luckily, we called and they immediately refunded that without having to wait. All in all, we will not be using PODS again, and we don't recommend it. Makes an already stressful time (moving!) more stressful. UPDATE 08/17/2016: PODS finally called us and let us know they have no intention of refunding us for anything. They will tell you anything on the sales call, and most will be true but when it comes down to facts it gets really blurry. I was told on my phone call multiple times. Just call us when you are ready, it is the slow season. 2 to 3 days before pickup is needed should be fine." Ok I said, they delivered the POD as stated, I packed it and called them back within a week. Giving them an 8 days out to pick it up. "Response was O our first available pickup day is 14 days out" 14 days are you kidding me, you said 2 to 3 should be fine. "Sorry nothing we can do." I ask to speak to a manager, manager not even get on the phone. Said there is nothing we can do sorry. I actually will not even own the property on the stated first pick up date. "Sorry nothing we can do. Do you want the 14 day out pick up date or not?" I mean I will not own the property, so you want me to leave the pod, all my belongings, move 2000 miles, and not even own the property? This is crazy, it takes max 1 hour for someone to pick it up and at least take it back to the local facility so it is not on the property (that I no longer own), you can't tell me this can't be worked out. There are 3 POD facilities within the metro area of Minneapolis and no one can come get it for 14 days? Crazy talk. do not use this company. you will not find anyone on their end who knows what they are doing. they just sent the delivery truck and the removal truck yesterday, same day, same hour. i scheduled pickup for 3 days out. movers came today and emptied pod. got an email from them about "delivery" time. called two different people, got nowhere, online chatted, got nowhere. asked for supervisor, got nowhere. they did not schedule the pickup!!!!!! now they want to give me the "next available" date of december 8th, two weeks from now. that's now. also took me two weeks to get someone on the phone who would actually help me schedule the delivery, and of course that was done completely incompetently too. they are the worst!!!!! i am getting a lawyer. and i'm contacting usaa, who recommended them. assume they move many military families. usaa is going to hear how bad they are. read more

I used pods to move my home. They were scheduled to pick up today between 7:15 and 10:15 a.m. so I scheduled my other deliveries after 12 noon. The pods pick up never arrived. I called to confirm and the woman said my scheduled pickup time was 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. and told me I was lying about the 7:15 to 10:15. She actually said lying. I saved all the confirmations so I have the proof. I had to set up another delivery time for my other things which cost me an extra $175. This was because pods did not get to my house until after 2 p.m. when I called back the pods they told me essentially too bad we do not refund any money and our service windows are just an estimate. 3 hour window did not show up to almost 6 hours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! It may look like a convenient and less expensive way to move, IT IS NOT! By the time they are done with you, not only will you have a migraine, but you will have paid significantly more than if you had used any other method. They never miss a beat taking your money (and yes, it will be A LOT of money), and they don't care about customer service. They have been holding my belongings for ransom and keep canceling the deliveries I have been trying to schedule and always giving some dumb excuse, all to push it out further to be able to charge me an extra month of storage! Then when you try to speak with a supervisor, they tell you you can't, and if you insist, they put you on hold and hang up on you after an hour! This has happened over and over! The highlights: Container too small even though recommended by operator Did not pick up on scheduled day Charged over $450 for "rescheduling" that we did not do, they were just an entire day late. Still waiting for weight tickets, 5 weeks later. Praying there's not a number 5... After the Navy personal property office told us at the last minute that they could not get a mover in time to move our hhg, we had to scramble to make a back up plan. This left me with no time to do my research and read reviews on PODS, boy I wish I had... 1) Ordering. I called PODS and a very nice gentleman helped me get started. I told him I have a 3 bedroom house with a garage and a storage unit that needed to be shipped across the country. He recommended the 16' container, who am I to argue, this is HIS job, he would know better than myself, right?!?!? WRONG!!!!! We had to rent a 10x10 storage unit for the rest of the stuff that wouldn't fit and we will have to UHaul it across the country at a separate time. 2) Pick-up. Well, at least I thought so, after all, I did receive the call and email with my pick up time window. After that window expired and the container had still not been picked up, I called PODS to see what was going on. I ended up having to call many more times. I was told many times that they emailed the facility manager of the Seattle branch asking them to call me with an update ASAP. Still, nothing. On one of the calls I was told that they called the facility and that I should expect them within the hour, that they were stuck in traffic. Still, nothing. The following day at noon, still there, still not picked up. I called again and am told that they are on their way...it was eventually picked up. Thankfully the buyers of our home were understanding and didn't get too upset by the container still being at their new home. 3) Over charged. I noticed an extra charge for over $450 on our credit card from PODS. When I called and asked about it I was told that because I rescheduled they had to re bill it and that got messed up. I never rescheduled anything, they were just an entire day late in picking up the container. This was actually fixed rather quickly and satisfactorily and the extra charge was reversed. 4) Weight tickets. This is a military personally procured move. We must have weight tickets both empty and full. This was arranged for when I placed my order. We have paid $40 for each ticket already. It has been 5 weeks now and several phone calls and still, we have not received the weight tickets we paid for. At this point I have finally been able to get in touch with a supervisor, Ashley, not easy to do. She says she has emailed the Seattle facility manger and has tried calling but, of course, no response from them. No big surprise there. I will keep trying. 5) To be seen. Our container is scheduled to be delivered this weekend. I am terrified at this point it will either, 1) not show up, lost forever, or 2) it does show up and everything is ruined. Hopefully, if you are reading this, you have not already hired PODS. We have now been reading through all the horrible reviews. I only wish I had taken the time out to read a few before we made the mistake of using PODS. Never again! read more

I called to schedule an order for PODs on specific dates to correspond with an upcoming move. I will note that the POD arrived at my old home on the day, and within the three-hour window of the scheduled appointment. Driver was very nice and they dropped the POD off perfectly. Two days later (as planned and per appointment) they picked up the POD. All things perfect at this point. Now comes the pain... My scheduled drop off at the new place was for the Saturday before the week of 4th of July, 7:45 -10:45am. At around 11:45am I called customer service (which is in FL) to inquire where my POD is. Adding insult to injury is the HOLD times for customer service to get through to a person (this became stage 1 of the second full time job I found myself in, trying to get through to customer service). I was told that the truck was on its way and to hang tight. I call back (wait on hold AGAIN) four hours later and they assure me it must be on its way and inform me they were unable to get a hold of the local branch and will call me with an update. I called customer service back again that evening (more wait time). I'm assured the POD is probably on its way and that they deliver late into the evening. I'm once again told I will receive a call back when the local branch has responded. By the end of that scheduled Saturday delivery, I had wasted a hole day that I planned to unpack either waiting on hold for customer service or being lied to. No call backs from any of the representatives. Now for the real fun... PODs doesn't deliver on Sundays so best case (at least in my head) is that Monday is a possibility. Monday 5:59am PST I call customer service in FL to see what the issue is. And... after another hour of hold time, I get the word that my POD is on its way. I end up taking off work (Wed is 4th of July) because I want to unpack the POD before an upcoming family visit. Now for the real real fun... Come Monday afternoon, I received three emails all of which shows changes in the POD schedule. I will save you the reading time, but let's just say they pushed my POD delivery out 6 weeks! At this point, I'm rather upset (put lightly) and I call customer service. I consulted an attorney and since a contract wasn't signed (I scheduled by phone), I'm convinced PODs has stolen my property. The customer service rep (after yet another long wait) tells me that I need to wait until August; she has no record of my previous calls or that the original scheduled date was June 30th. At this stage, I lose my cool (my politeness didn't work) and I demand the address of this specific location so I could show up with the police and a mover to collect my stolen property. I additionally have my attorney contact FL and as luck would have it (sarcastically) I finally get that call back from a supervisor. The supervisor informed me she had listened to my previous recordings and was able to get the POD to come the next day. The POD did show up the day before July 4th. I missed the weekend I had planned (and scheduled) to unload and the earliest pick up was six days later, so the eyesore was in my driveway preventing other planned deliveries for about a week. I cut the last part short because hopefully the message was clear, but I will say the customer service nightmare was something for the record books. This experience almost wasn't real life between all the automated email delivery changes and conflicting customer service stories, and of course.... The HOLD times They gave me $100 credit off my order. As far as next steps, I'm not sure that makes things right. read more

Watch out! PODS will rip you off if you don't return the container empty by the last day on your contract. We were never made aware that an entire month would be charged to us if we did not return the POD empty by our last day (October 2nd). We leased our new place on September 30th and tried to have the POD scheduled for re-delivery on the 1st or 2nd, but the earliest day they could re-deliver was Oct 5th, so we emptied it on the 5th and returned it on the 6th, but they charged us another $261 for keeping the POD an extra 3 days due to their inability to deliver on our desired delivery date. Customer service refused to issue a full refund (or to pro rate the charges). Won't use again. read more

We had to leave our container for several months in their facility, were surprised that we could access it at any time for free. Customer service has been less than helpful and sometimes rude and obnoxious. Scheduling with them has been a nightmare. Whomever is in charge of their logistics should be fired. I had been searching for a mover for nearly a month -- referencing Yelp, asking friends, using other web search engines, and came down to a handful of companies I was seriously considering and getting quotes from. Pods was initially on that list given a high recommendation from a friend, but my initial quote was nearly 2-3X higher than quotes from other companies -- over $5,500 for about 350 cubic feet. I respectfully declined given that the benefit of a Pod (storage, exclusive space, the ability to pack and unpack at your leisure) was not as relevant to me. I received a follow-up call where I reiterated that I was no longer interested because their services were out of my budget and I was able to secure a much more reasonable price from a friend in the moving industry. The sales guy started laughing and said, "wow, someone's going to move you across the county for less than $2,000 --ya right -- nice friend" and then he hung up on me! I've tolerated the dozens of follow-up phone calls with prospective movers (and they are an aggressive crew), but no one was as rude as this person. This company was by far the most expensive, yet simply because of their lack of professionalism , I would opt to spend my money elsewhere. read more

Incompetent service reps that set up service (the lady who set up my service never scheduled a pick up date and I told her numerous times I needed same day pick up). 3. Unprofessional, rude, derogatory service reps at their call centers. 4. Lack of ability to get ahold of decision makers. 5. Being told lies ( that I would receive a call back and never did, that I could not speak with branch managers, that there was no one that I could speak with to address my concerns above the branch manager, etc.) As a business professional myself, it is beyond me how poor the training for call center/service employees has to be to receive such terrible service (all but ONE person I spoke with was either rude, trying to place blame on me and not the company, or refusing to let me speak with someone of authority). The company charged me for services that were never disclosed. Once I addressed the issue, I received a 50% refund. While a decent gesture, I simply don't believe anyone should have to pay for anything they were not informed about or unknowingly agreed to. Had I known of the charge, I would have happily paid it or made other arrangements. My issue was never 100% about the money, rather the principle of the matter. Logistically and functionally the service was fine; however, I would never give business to a company who operates with these principles, business ethics and lack of professionalism. Delivery to my apartment, pickup, and delivery to the Pods storage facility went fine. I am a military member and was planning on storing my container at the storage facility indefinitely, therefore I do not have a redelivery address. They have refused to give me my full weight ticket in order to file my travel voucher. I have been arguing with customer service for weeks now trying to get them to weigh it since it wasn't weighed at the original location like it was supposed to be. They keep telling me it will be scheduled to be weighed and I will be emailed the full weight ticket, but now they are telling me I need a redelivery date and address to do that. Makes no sense. I now plan on moving my belongings into a different storage facility and being done with pods forever. read more

By far, the worst customer servicer experience I have ever had. I reserved my POD a month prior to my move date. The PODS customer service representative that signed me up assured me that the POD would on the street between 7am and 9am. I scheduled my movers accordingly. Two days before my move date I received a call from another PODS representative notifying me that my card was declined. The representative that signed me up incorrectly coded my credit card. Because I already had a PODS representative on the phone, I took the time to confirm my drop-off and pick-up times. The representative told me that they could not guarantee that the POD would be dropped off before 9am without charging me an extra $50. Because my movers and city permit were already in place, I paid the $50. The night before my move I received an automated call notifying me that my POD would arrive between 2pm and 5pm. I immediately called PODS but they were closed for the evening. At 7am the next morning, I called PODS and spoke with a supervisor. She was very apologetic and told me that the agent that charged me the $50 had incorrectly coded the drop-off and pick-up times. She refunded my $50 and assured me that my POD would be dropped off before 10:30 am. I called my movers and pushed back their start time to 10:30 am. The movers arrived at precisely 10:30 am but there was no POD. I called and spoke with several representatives that put me on hold to contact the manager of the local branch. They all came back with different reasons why my POD had not been dropped-off. At 11:30 am, my movers proposed moving my furniture downstairs to the lawn. I agreed because they were being paid by the hour and needed to stay productive. I continued to call PODS and they continued to give me the run around. One agent finally gave me the direct line to the branch manager. When I called him he seemed surprised and asked me how I got his number. He told me that his driver had a setback and was severely late. He also noted that I was next on their delivery list. At 12:15 pm I called PODS again and spoke with a supervisor. She told me that I should have reserved my POD at least one week in advance and that delivery times can't be guaranteed. I shared with her that I reserved my POD a month in advance and that I paid $50 dollars to have my POD dropped-off by 9 am. She again reiterated that I should have reserved my POD at least one week in advance and that delivery times cannot be guaranteed. She filled out an incident report and told me that a manger would follow up with me. To date, a manager has not followed up with me. At 12:35 pm my POD arrived. The driver apologized and told me that it was PODS mistake. He noted that he had been given a 2pm - 5 pm delivery time and that he had to rearrange his route to get get me the POD. I asked him if his route had been delayed that morning. He denied any knowledge of a setback or his route being delayed. The way the company is structured makes it difficult to find someone knowledgeable and impossible to find out who is culpable for mistakes. All calls are directed to a call center in Clearwater, Florida. The representatives there contact the local branch managers who then dispatch drivers. I didn't look up Yelp reviews before reserving my POD. I hope that you do and that you make a more sensible decision than I did. Hire anyone else. read more

This has been the absolutely worst company to deal with ever. We moved out of state, and had our pod scheduled to be delivered last month. So i took the day off work to meet the driver, and hired movers to get the pod unloaded (apartment complex only allows pods to be there for one day). No communication up until 8 am the day of the pod arrival, and they say they "cant locate the pod, we will try and locate it and get back in touch with you" After days of no communication, we get a notification that our pods has been updated and our pod is in Phoenix and has not even left the warehouse. Customer service at this point is ignoring our emails. Finally, the pods website updates to be scheduled to be delivered end of this month on the 23rd. In case you didnt know pods has a monthly storage fee, so we are being charged this fee due to their mess up. Still no communication, the last thing we heard from their "Customer Advocate" Nicole is she will be on vacation until the 3rd. The 3rd passed, and we email her again and we get an automatic message saying she will be on vacation until the 7th. Zero communication, our pod is "scheduled" for the 23rd and picked up 3 days later which won't work either. We are being charged the monthly fee, and don't even know if it actually will be delivered. Do i take off work? Do i hire movers for this date? I will be sharing this horror story all over so that people never do business with these people again. PODS needs to be put out of business, going on 2 months without our stuff. read more

Do not use PODS. We just moved from Los Angeles to Minneapolis. They will drop off your PODS (we had 2) immediately. Makes you think they are great. Wrong. When you want to have them delivered to your new destination they schedule out weeks later. And at first we were told they couldn't deliver to our zip code in Minneapolis. Then they say they wouldn't be able to pick them up (empty PODS) 2-3 weeks later. We are having a moving company go to the PODS center and moving our stuff to our new house. If you want to spend way more money then you were planning to do, call PODS today! Never again. read more
