    This is the lot where they said "we can't deliver/ leave unattended" but here is one left here unattended/in this lot

    Told us they couldn't deliver are pod three months later there is a pod in the lot they said they couldn't deliver to unattended. We had to pay a moving company 500 extra dollars to move are stuff from their storage. Pods is a scam never using them again.

    DO NOT give them your email or phone number for an estimate. They will NOT stop calling or emailing me dispite unsubscribe button and repeated emails to stop. They are VERY expensive too 9 emails in two days! and sent my email to a mover to load the pod

    This has been one of the most frustrating and disruptive moving experiences I've ever had. My issues began when PODS repeatedly confirmed that same-day delivery and pickup from a Public Storage location was fully supported in my area. I planned my entire move around those confirmations. On the day of the move, I was informed--far too late--that this service was not available in my location. Because the pod was required to leave that same day, I was forced into an emergency situation and had to hire a moving company and truck at the last minute just to transport my belongings to their facility. This cost me roughly $800, caused major work disruption, and wasted an entire day. PODS later attempted to classify this as a "standard mover cost," which is simply untrue--it was a direct result of their misinformation. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there. Since then, PODS has now failed to deliver my container twice. The first failed delivery was blamed on the area not being wide enough. I took this seriously and had shrubs removed and the space widened to accommodate their requirements. On the second delivery attempt, there was: * No phone call * No delivery window * No notice whatsoever I only received a generic email saying they "attempted delivery and couldn't." When I contacted customer support, I was then told they couldn't reach the storage facility--despite no one attempting to contact me at all. Now I am actively moving into my home, after weeks of planning specifically around having the container available on arrival. Instead, I'm being told I must wait an additional three days to receive my pod after I've already arrived due entirely to PODS' internal failures. This experience reflects a pattern of negligence, poor communication, and lack of accountability. Information is repeatedly confirmed and then reversed. Delivery attempts happen without coordination. Errors are framed as policy limitations rather than acknowledged as service failures. Moving is already stressful. PODS has consistently made it worse at every step. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if timing, reliability, or basic communication matter to you.

They gave me half…read moreoff my first month and then my rent went to regular price fine yes I agree to that sounds good. A few months later I get on disability due to a slip and fall. Me being a good customer trying to hold my end of the deal up. I send my boyfriend over there to make a payment for me because I had not received my disability check. He does so next month comes and he comes to my house and says hey your storage place charged me $257. I said what no way why you paid it last month right? Yes I did. He says well what did they charge you $129 ok let me call and see what the problem is I call over there. Low and behold the woman was extremely rude yelling in my ear, sir. You gotta put your pin code in. I said go ahead and finish up that customer. I'll call back. She says no no I'm done helping him she continue to scream to him from the telephone in my ear and then when I says OK are you sure you don't want me to call back no ma'am give me your unit number. I said I don't have my unit number. I don't even know what it is to be honest with you. I just put my stuff in there and I don't even go there often. OK give me your name. Can you break it down to me and let me know why the storage unit went from 129 to 257 and how come nobody called me and let me know. And why did you go ahead and charge his card again that was really embarrassing for me. I just asked him to do it that one time until my check came, and then they were taking it out again without even asking I was so embarrassed and then to be doubled in price. I freaked out. I said oh shit what the hell why would it go up that much? She said ma'am we sent you an email stating the prices were gonna be raised I said the prices we're gonna be raised and doubled and I said I don't have access to my email man can you send me something along the lines of a text or in the mail? Oh no, that will cost three dollars extra. Well You don't have a problem sending me it if I am a little late. If the payment does not come out of my account that same day, they text you three or four times that day and the next day no five day grace period. No nothing they bug you till they get the damn payment, that's why I sent him the first time their money hungry they bug you on the day. Your payment is due if your payment does not come out of your account automatically and then they double your rent with just a freaking email and then the lady says oh no no no I'm not gonna listen to this and then hangs up on me girl I just listen to you yelling in my ear for two minutes to another customer that's not professional. I offered to hang up and call back so you could finish helping the man and then you wanna get on me cause I'm freaking out saying oh shit what the hell you tell me somebody on disability how they can just have their whole life in a storage unit and then just get an email saying that your rents getting doubled. How in the heck am I supposed to go over there? Get my stuff out with a broken back and now move it to a new place. I can't afford to pay movers to do that for me now I am stuck paying this payment I will never ever ever ever ever ever. Use them again. Refer anybody to them or go back to them again it is the worst experience I have ever had in my life.

    Okay, so it took me a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure it does not reflect…read moreon all PS facilities. I had a WONDERFUL experience with the PS facility in south Long Beach whom I rented from for well over a year! I only left because I moved to Carson and the drive was frustrating. They were very clean, ALWAYS available in office during business hours, and everything was automated and futuristic. While it was expensive, it was totally worth it. This PS facility, on Del Amo Blvd in east Carson is EVERYTHING Long Beach wasn't!!! The facility is old looking (which wasn't a massive issue, as long as it didn't have pests. I put a ton of pest killer bait inside my unit as well). It's not temperature controlled due to all the unit being outside accessible. THERE IS NEVER anyone in office available during business hours whenever I needed assistance, which was literally only three times in the three months I was there!!! The last two times I needed assistance was to access my unit when the their was a closed padlock on the hallway door leading to my unit. There was NEVER ANY COMMUNICATION to us on what the code was to unlock it! Not even when we first got the unit! I had to call 10 times plus go back and forth to the front office before someone FINALLY came out to give me the code. Around 45 minutes total! That was the first time.... The second time, about two weeks later, I'll admit I got frustrated and banged on the window due to the office being LOCKED at the almost 10am and NO ONE answering the office phone! Upon me banging on the window the person sitting in the LOCKED OFFICE promptly decided to come out and yell at me to STOP BANGING on the window or they will call the cops. As they swiftly slammed the door shut before I could even speak a word as to why I was frustrated or what my name even was, I proceed to bang again since it proved to be the only way to get them to come out and unlock the door during business hours. We both ended up calling the cops. The cops came and stated that the employee told them I aggressively shattered the front office window...... Cops laughed, I laughed (through my anger), given there was no shattered glass or broken window in sight. The employee came and unlocked the padlock, I asked him why didn't he open the office door or why wasn't he answering my calls coming through to the office, they stated that I need to vacate within 72 hours as they did not feel safe with me around! HAHAHAHAHAHA! This is a grown man by the way...taller than me and I'm 5'11!!!! Anyways, the district manager is just as ignorant stating that they are only allowing me access ONE TIME this month to my unit with my belongings. I am working with my lawyer on this one. This is not a facility worth my energy. BTW, it's been well past 72 hours and my stuff is still in my unit :). I will be moving out end of April since I PAID FOR THE MONTH and they can't do anything about it without proper WRITTEN notice. I will be moving because I need a professional facility that operates as a business and not some raggedy, rag tag, unkept facility that clearly hires family members and friends on hard times.
