Absolutely horrible experience. Gave the exact measurements of the gate opening. The exact measurements of the driveway and parking area behind the house. They assured me that placing it where I wanted was "no problem at all sir". Delivery day, POD driver makes 2 ruts in the yard says the gate is 6" too narrow to go through. Leaves the POD, basically blocking the gate and leaves. Have to wait 3 days to get it moved to the street. read more

Yet another "wonderful" experience with PODS and I wish I could give them NEGATIVE stars. RECAP: A previous review I did here on Yelp concerned their lack of customer service response when I found out they left a POD on my FORMER driveway for over a month back in November 2021. I also had an issue with them a few months later when they billed me for mileage in February of this year that I had already paid for in December of LAST year. Long story short - they blamed it on a software upgrade issue, but nothing happened to refund my credit card until AFTER I got so frustrated that I filed a dispute with the credit card company. Trying to work with PODS themselves got me ZERO results on both occasions. UPDATE 3/24/2022: I thought it was over. Then I got my March Credit Card Bill - and an over $4000 jump in my balance that I had no idea about. Research with the credit card company rep. showed that, 4 days after refunding my money for the fraudulent mileage charge (which PODS admitted was an error), THEY BILLED ME AGAIN. I will not even attempt to work with PODS on this one. I immediately filed another dispute with the credit card company, and urge EVERYONE to use more than due diligence if you make the mistake of working with PODS for your move. HIRE MOVERS INSTEAD! I would highly recommend hiring movers as it is the same cost as this stupid POD service. My POD was filled with spiders and spider eggs and all my stuff was covered with spider webs by the time it was emptied. I asked for the POD to be delivered and put back as far as possible in the driveway, they put it butted up right on sidewalk and we couldn't park the car in driveway for 2 weeks. Watch out for hidden fees! They charge to pick up, store, drop off, final pick up. It's all just a bunch of bullshit and this service sucks! Go elsewhere! Make sure you read everything on their website, all the FAQs etc. They don't really tell you things upon booking even when you speak to actual Customer Representative. They call you for the delivery and pick up time after 6pm local time. I live in the West Coast. Their business close at 10pm Eastern Time. I received the message for the pick up window time past 7pm Pacific Time which is already after their office hours. They said call ASAP if I want to reschedule but I received the pick up window after their office hours and the pick up window starts at 7:45 am. I called them at 6am the day of pick up to reschedule but they said it was too late to reschedule at that time. It's like you don't have a choice. They schedule delivery and pickup window after their business hours and you can't ask them to move the time. You have to call asap to reschedule but then office is closed. They charge cancellation fee of $50-$75 too if the container is not ready when they come to pick it up. I think they try to get you here. They go there and it's not ready and you didn't have enough time to reschedule so they charge you. I was fortunate, they didn't charge me the cancellation fee when they came in at 8:30am. Maybe because I already called at 6am wanting to move the pickup window time. I would be really upset if they did charge me. Just be aware of all these before you book. The customer service reps too could use more friendly manners when dealing with customers. I don't think I can recommend and will definitely not book with them again. read more

We hired pods for a move from CA to NYC in July. Everything was good to go UNTIL they decided to cancel our city service to nyc 2 days prior to arrival. We confirmed and reserved our time for nyc city service month prior and they decided to cancel our city service last minute just as we were moving to our new home. How unreal is that! They said it was a shipment issue and truck wasn't in storage facility at first but we knew where the pod was and truck arrived on day it was suppose to (was confirmed by rep). This was a cross country move and stressful enough without the lies. After numerous calls to the multiple company reps (some of which hung up on us), it was mentioned that they had block out the our scheduled time due to shortage of movers AND the next available time would be a month away..! They plucked out our spot (prob others too) due to company issues without disclosing and addressing the cause. We had to book our own moving team in such short notice to go to their facility to get our stuff from our pod, which was just sitting in the storage facility, costing us additional thousands of dollars. We're still waiting to hear back if any reimbursements but nothing. NADA. Called multiple times AGAIN and nothing is getting resolved with no one to contact but rep that told us they'll call back. This company is out of control. Do not use them. They'll promise you something and just lie + tell you to go get your stuff yourself. read more

I almost never write poor reviews, but this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Would give zero stars if I could. Rented a pod and was told since there wasn't space at my home to deliver a pod that I would be able to fill my unit on Sunday at the Compton location. They said I'd just need to go to that location on Saturday to fill out a waiver so that I could load my container on Sunday. I went to the storage facility on Saturday and nobody was there, finally, after 30 mins wandering around the facility, we locate a forklift operator who has to call the manager who tells us that the facility isn't open Sunday and he's not sure why someone told us we could load a container on Sunday. This was a major problem because we had to be moved out of our home on Sunday and did not have another option the DAY before our move. I had to call and go through 3 people to finally get to a supervisor who was empathetic to my situation and she called in a favor with another regional manager who said he could let us load a pod at another location. Unfortunately, that location was nearly 2 hours away from our home, but we had no other choice but to drive out there and load our container in the dark. Plus, we had to pay an additional $250 to the Uhaul company for additional hours and mileage. Pods offered us a credit of $100 for this mistake, which obviously doesn't even cover the additional cost, not to mention the hassle we had to go through driving so far away from our home, but at least that person tried to help us. Meanwhile, they charged us a second time for the new pod at the other location, without refunding our first charge. When I asked the corporate 'resolution specialist' about that she said she doesn't deal with billing so I'd "just need to wait for that to come off, probably." A week later, I'm still waiting for that charge to come off. I called customer service again to discuss, they referred me to corporate, who took days to respond then was completely rude and offered me $150 refund, which they wouldn't issue unless I signed a gag order (see picture) which said I wouldn't share my experience anywhere online. Sorry pods, I'm not exchanging my values and the information this community should know in exchange for $150 which doesn't even cover the costs that I incurred because of their mistake. You will not silence me with the promise of a minuscule credit. Public knowledge of your poorly run business is worth far more. Definitely save your time and sanity by going with another moving company. These people don't want to give you a good experience, they just want to hide your poor experiences and cover their behinds legally. Even if they make a mistake and admit fault, they do not attempt to resolve it or show goodwill, and their customer service is intentionally vague, defensive and unsympathetic. I rarely post reviews but feel myself compelled to save anyone the nightmare that we've been through with this company. I am shocked that they are even in business. Yes they delivered my belongings but overcharged me 3 times, were NO SHOW to pick it up 3 times and every time we've called they say they have no record of our phone call. Our last conversation was with a so-called manager Mario Pacheco who assured us the POD would be picked up within the hour. It is now 5 hours later and we have been on hold for 1 hour after the rep said there is no record of that pick up. We have an email from Mr Pacheco but of course it is a no reply email. Don't use this company. We also used U-Pack and they were so much better. Arrived when scheduled and billed as agreed upon. read more

At first, my experience with Pods was fine. I ordered a pod for home storage and then they dropped it off. After they picked it up, I was charged the normal pick-up fee and the next day I was charged for an additional month's rental of a pod that I no longer had. When I called to get a simple refund, they claimed that they need to investigate the erroneous charge and would get back to me. I have tried calling 3 times each time being on hold for more than 30 minutes. I have left emails and messages with the assigned account specialist and the person they have assigned refuses to call or email back. This has been going on over a month. What seemed like a very simple mistake now seems like their normal operating procedures. avoid this company at all costs! They operate illegally and could not care any less about customers and frankly they prey on whoever falls victim to using their services. Its a scam company. I was quoted and paid for 2 months of a pod but what they dont tell you is that these pods are illegal and when the bylaw officer comes by and gives a citation and orders it to be removed Pods WILL NOT REMOVE IT. They will not come back to pick up the pod and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ADDITIONAL MONTHS. Pods refused to comply with the bylaw order to remove the pod and yes they still kept charging me for the pod that they refused to remove and sent it to collections to attempt to bully and scam the money out of me. I spent 5+ hours on the phone trying to get them to pick it up. What they do is restrict you from booking a pick up online, people on the chat feature say they dont have the authority to pick it up, they dont respond to emails and they will put you on hold for over 5 hours in hopes you will hang up so they can keep charging for a pod. When I finally got ahold of someone they said the pod would be picked up that day, it wasnt. Then you have to keep calling them back and waiting 5 hrs to speak to someone to ask why it wasnt picked up to be told "I dont know why they told you it would be picked up, it wasnt scheduled for pick up" I had to repeat this process multiple times all while the bylaw fine for not complying is $5000. Pods was in violation of the order for months! Then when the pod is finally removed the drive way is cracked and crumbling underneath where the pod was and the truck and "podzilla" will drive all over your lawn taking up grass with it. Pods wont respond or address any of the issues. Also Pods will not send you copies of any contracts or agreements, they refuse to provide copies. They refuse to address the issues. They refused to comply with the bylaw laws. They refuse everything. Ive sent them pictures of the drive way multiple times and they claim they dont receive it as a tactic to not pay for the damages. Its been sent multiple times and I checked my outbox to confirm it was sent. Thought using the PODS service would be convenient and cost efficient, but my expirence has turned into a ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I loaded a Pod with my life's work, every family picture and a lifetime of memories/belongings and can not get my pod redelivered. I'm getting the run arounds, while they collect payments and I incur financial hardship and mental anguish. I was assigned a Pods Customer Advocacy Specialist to help facilitate my issue, but they have made no contact other than to inform me they were assigned to my case. They have not responded to email, phone calls or the fax I sent....yup I sent a freaking fax and nothing! read more

I cannot begin to express how terrible my (still ongoing) experience with PODS has been. The company model indicates that you don't have to be there and they take care of everything, but that is not at all the case. The customer service has been largely nonexistent with a prevailing attitude of, "It's your problem, not ours." The order and delivery portion went smoothly. The driver called when he was on the way and I was able to ensure there was a space in front of our house (we live in a city, and have no driveway or reserved parking). I loaded the POD, locked it and moved to our new house fully expecting the rest of the process would go smoothly. I contacted PODS to schedule pickup and redelivery and that's where the wheels fell off the bus. It has been two weeks and they have come three times and said they were unable to pick up the container. They do not reach out to let you know that the pickup was unsuccessful, however (and nor do they update your online account, which still shows a scheduled pickup of July 14th). Each time I have had to call and ascertain the reason the POD was not able to be picked up. The first two times it was because cars were parked too close; today it was because my former neighbor put bins out to keep cars from parking too close and I was informed the driver is not allowed to touch or move bins. My children and I have been without our beds, air conditioners and the majority of our belongings for weeks and I am being charged for all the extra days in the meantime. I chose PODS because it seemed like a simple, affordable, option, but it has turned into a huge time suck and stressor and I wish I had hired a moving company. We had our POD picked up in Miami, Florida on Dec. 17th, 2021. Today is January 5th, 2022 and the POD has not begun to be transported to the destination in Calfiornia. On the customer service website there is no delivery time available. I have called over ten times to the customer service number and written an email to the logistics specialist (who does not answer emails). Most of the time, I am put on hold and the call is dropped or I am sent back to the menu of options. No one returns phone calls or takes responsbility for finding me answers. Wish I could give no stars!!! I've been a customer for 7 yrs as we moved overseas not knowing when or where we would return. We ended up purchasing a home in July of 2024 I finally could empty my storage unit. I notified PODS of the date I wanted the unit delivered(July 19th) only to begin a complete nightmare. Lady, the customer service representative told me my move was now considered a long distance move. I said ok so I pay a bit more for transportation that's fine, nope I was told I would have to pay an extra $35/mo for the last 7 yrs of my rental agreement WHAT why?? I didn't take up anymore storage why would I pay extra? I was told anything over 50 miles is considered long distance and my new address was 59!! I finally was told they could work with me to see if they could just take it to another storage POD facility closer to my new location. The closest facility Perrysburg was an hour PAST my new location, the current location of my storage POD was in Cleveland Ohio which was about an hour to my new home. None of it made sense so I asked to talk to a supervisor. The next day I received that call and was told that's the way the system is set up but for some reason my account was on hold and would need a account resolution specialist to unlock it and that would take 2-4 days?? I told Gina the supervisor on 7/13 that was unacceptable as I wanted it delivered on 7/19. She said she would do her best to speed it up. I called back the following day and spoke with Daisy she told me the same still the account needed to be unlocked. Like what ?? I told Daisy this was not my problem she agreed, as the account was up to date with payment. Nevertheless another day passed with no update. I decided to just contact a local moving company as I was on a tight timeline to get my stuff moved in to my new home. I notified PODs on 7/15/24 that I was going to just clear out my storage myself totally defeating the reason I decided to get a PODs unit instead of a normal storage facility, which would of been a heck of a lot cheaper. Anyway I told them I would be coming to empty my unit on 7/18/24 I was told the container # and it would be left outside the storage facility. I arrived the morning of 7/18/24 I assumed the storage facility was ONLY used by PODs but was told by a worker that the storage facility was used by many other companies not just PODs. This made me uneasy as there goes your stuff being secure as anyone could enter this facility. The facility was old and decrepit I managed to track down my storage unit outside, my movers arrived and the unpacking began. I was sick to find my unit was damaged and therefor infested with mice, mice droppings and urine. I was sick all the things I held dear were ruined. I was not taking the ruined items to my new home so I put the numerous items aside and had to hire someone to pick them up to take to the local dump. Included were all my soft items mattresses/pillows/blankets/sofa/etc. I just couldn't believe what a nightmare I had to deal with!! I would never use this company again and neither should you if you have read my lengthy review. Of course in their context protection overview mice and any rodent droppings are not their responsibility but I feel if the container was damaged by them it most definitely should be!!! I estimate the items I lost are well over 3k and I will never recover that amount but if people understand the state of the facility their items are being stored and NOT use this horrible company then this long review will have been worth it. A few days after I emptied my container I received a few bills from PODs in the amour of $138.78 and 688.50 for delivery of my POD. I quickly called and was told no that's a credit I said I already check with my credit card company and it's NOT a credit but a charge, Robin the representative said no it's a credit and maybe my credit card company was mistaken and to check back with them in a few days once it's been credited. Well it's Now 8/17/24 and still no credit just the charge. I'm done wasting my time on incompetence, I paid them over $23K for 7 years and lost most of the items in my container just be aware of how they take no interest in storing your items you hold dear. read more

It's too bad they won't allow you to leave a quarter*because I must warn everyone about pods moving and storage. I'm a fair man but they blew it. They came and got the POD on time after we loaded it up they took my money quickly but getting my stuff back in a timely manner was a fiasco. Between their main number and their dispatch group there was so much confusion that my moving got delayed and finally I got one person on the line who fixed it. But that was after a lot of trial and error. Then finally when they did return the pod they broke one of our lawn sprinkler irrigation heads and drove over two of our plants and when I filed a claim they ghosted me. I've heard from them twice in an email but that's it I've had to call back six times as of today and still have not gotten any resolution. Of course I've made the repairs in my home out of my own pocket but I don't think that PODS will ever come clean. So I cannot recommend PODS at all. Beware of their good reviews on their website... Contractor ordered a container to be delivered to my house on July 23rd. They finished their work and I decided I needed to rent it an additional month. I contacted PODS customer service and they said no problem that I could continue to rent the POD, for me to just open a new account and I gave the POD number. I called back to confirm and after 40 min wait on the phone. I explained the situation and was making sure I would not receive a new container delivery. Just keep the existing one. He hung up on me and then cancelled my order!!! The contractor called me and said he got a contract from POD to sign over his account to me. He said he had other clients and didn't want the account signed over. I said I understood and the POD assured me that he didn't have to and it would be billed in my name next time. I called back and talked to a manager. She said my order was not cancelled. I said it did not show on my account information anymore. She checked with the prior customer service rep and said it was cancelled because it was the wrong price!! I told her I got a 30% discount being a new customer. She then told me to start a new order and I gave her the container number. She said I needed to talk to business services and was hung up on after the transfer. I called business services and spoke to Oliver. He said that there would be no problem with the order. Once the month ran out on the container rented by the contractor, everything would go into my name be billed. I was contacted by the local POD about delivering my new POD unit. I explained I wanted to keep the existing one. The local manager was very helpful and said he would cancel the order so I wouldn't get a new one and he would have someone from operations contact me. Kelly from operations called me and was very sympathetic and said she would try and get this resolved.I told her that I would have made other arrangements if they had told me all this in advance. Now they want me to pay $60 for notary and to get the contractor to sign a contract he was uncomfortable signing. I haven't heard back. I got a email from business services that I have to get the contract signed. I have never been treated like this by any company in my life! The rude, inept people in your customer service are unbelievable. After 9 calls, 4 emails, I am still at a loss of what to do. I guarantee I will never do business with your company again and will get your company the reviews it deserves!! read more

Using PODs to move has been one of the worst experiences. The scheduled date and times does not mean anything when working with this company to move. I had a POD scheduled multiple weeks in advanced on a certain date. The company changed the dates last minute without giving even a moment of notice or even without notifying me. Customer Services says everything is ready for pickup, schedules pickup, and then they send a notification that it was cancelled again. I completed my experience with PODS three months ago and submitted all payments. Now I have discovered that PODS was charging me a monthly contents protection fee that I DID NOT agree to pay. I have been in full possession of all of my contents for months. My credit card company alerted me to the charge, and I assumed it was a one-time fraudulent attempt, but I logged back in to discover that PODS has been taking my money WITHOUT my consent. I have tried contacting customer service but evidently no one can access my account, and the billing department doesn't even have an email address. They told me it appears to be a systems error and yet can't do anything to fix it. I am getting emails from PODS telling me this fraudulent payment is overdue!! This is completely unacceptable and I cannot believe they can get away with this. read more

ZERO STARS. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE COMPANY! They dropped off a random persons pod in my driveway and left it there for 3 days! I called 3 times on day one, twice on day two and once on day three!!! The first two times I was assured by pods customer service that a driver was coming within the hour. The third time I called on day one, the representative kept putting me on hold, then hung up on me. I immediately called back they were closed! While I was on hold the 3rd time on day one, I had my husband call on his cell phone and they picked up right away! They were avoiding my call!!! I called twice on day 2 and both representatives told me the driving company will try to squeeze me in but no promises even though the representative the day before assured me were top priority and the pod would be moved in the early morning!!! A driver finally came day 3 in the afternoon. I am shocked and absolutely livid by the fact that the Pods company dropped off a RANDOM pod at my house even though I have NEVER contacted this company and LEFT IT IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR 3 DAYS!!!! read more

Thieves, absolutely the worse experience I ever had. I would never ever use them again. They charged me over $3000 because of a mistake by a new associate and they would never hold themselves to an ethical or moral standards to correct it and do what is right. The quote I got in an email vs what they charged is basically $3000 more. I basically pegged them to go back and listen to the conversations that took place on November 22nd and November 23rd and to check email sent to me with quote that is valid until November 29 and they would never do it so I can get my credit money back. The issue is the customer service. An agent named started off nice and helpful. Then became rude and snickered when I had an issue with the quote I was given. The agent did not attempt to find a solution and was quick to end the phone call. Very disappointed with my experience and will not recommend or attempt to use PODS EVER! Worst moving experience I've had. Not only where they 2 hours late dropping the pod off (6 pm) they also forgot to drop off the lock for it with my family that were outside watching it be delivered. I called to let them know that they forgot it and they told me that they would delivered it the next day when they picked it up. Well they thought that 7 am the next day was an appropriate time to pick it up after they had dropped it off the night before at 6 pm. They also didn't talk to anybody again and didn't deliver the lock they were supposed to. When I talked to them about everything form being late to thinking such a short time to load the pod before picking it up being inappropriate the best they could do was refund me the $16 for the lock. The whole experience has been a complete travesty. I waited either on hold or for a call back from customer service for over 6 hours over 2 days... What I needed clarification on was not provided by their website. I will do all I can to dissuade anyone from using this as a moving or shipping options. Apparently, this is a common practice. PODs has had 3 weeks to move my stuff from Colorado to Oregon and now they say because of a cracked windshield the delivery is delayed. Then when I called to find out if the pod was going to make the new delivery date the night before they tell me the pod has not arrived at the local warehouse. How does a logistics company not know where the containers are? Answer: they do know, they are just playing folks for fools. Making promises with their mouths that their business can fulfill. They're liars. I used them years ago to move from California to Oregon but I suspect they're cutting costs and going with inferior/cheap software engineering so they don't actually have the systems to handle the fundamentals of the container logistics business. They're probably under pressure to make higher returns for their stock price so that means cheating the customer. Read "phishing for phools" and you'll know what I mean. In the meantime I'm sleeping on the floor with no guarantees when I'll get my things back. I've filed a dispute with my credit card and they've credited me the cost of the container move; since it wasn't moved. Do not use Pods for your next move!!! As an active duty military service member I decided to use PODs for my "do it yourself move", and while my goods were delivered according to a delayed schedule, the proper documentation was not provided. As a result I have lost upwards of $9,000 from my recent military move due to their lack of accountability and professionalism. Despite many phone calls and emails I received zero communication back, when all i needed was a weight ticket for my goods. I am moving from Seattle to Madison and used a pod so that I would have time to look for a place to live without being rushed. The experience has been terrible every step of the way. The emails that are sent to confirm your order have no actual details. You have to go to their website that most times when logging in will give too many redirects and won't bring you to your account. The call operators (because everything must be done by calling, you cannot do anything directly yourself online) tell you the information that you want to hear but then proceed to put the information into their system incorrectly. I was supposed to have my pod waiting for me at a Madison storage facility while I tried to find a place to live as I moved from Seattle. Two months after my pod left Seattle I find a place and expect to schedule my delivery within 3 days. When I go to the website it actually connects me to my account and I see that my pod was never sent like I had discussed with the call service agent and it was still in Washington. After talking to another call agent my pod is scheduled to leave Washington in four days and won't be delivered to my new place for two weeks. Meaning I will have to live two weeks without any of my personal belongings in an empty house. read more

Would be 5 stars if storage pro-rated, mileage cost less, scheduling more flexible, and lock worked. I went 4 days over and was charged full month anyway. Almost $300. I was unable to schedule drop off on the days I needed and trying to reschedule pick up online resulted in error messages. Only available for drop off and pick up on certain days. Bought a lock from PODs and key broke off inside the lock when I turned it. Lucky, movers contacted their boss who came to the rescue with bolt cutters and didn't charge me the half our wasted on breaking into the POD. read more

Customer Service is absolutely lacking. Everyone on the phone is quite obsequious without really providing service. There is NO accommodation for extenuating circumstances. I'm assisting a senior in moving from CA to PA. She has left the area, so I'm managing the process for her. A third party, located in NC is paying for the move. So yes, there are lot of "moving" parts. Our team is packing and movers are transporting the boxes to the PODS warehouse in Sylmar CA. There is no room at her location to drop a container. I need a contact person at the warehouse to confirm that the container will be ready when the movers arrive. The "customer service" representative on the phone would not provide me with the contact information. Instead they said that the responsible party (in NC) would have to wait by the phone to approve the loading of the container after the mover arrived. So, the mover will have to sit twiddling their thumbs until the responsible party in NC can be contacted and then wait some more until the team at PODs can get the container removed from storage and to a location where the movers can load it. I asked to speak to a manager because I could tell that the customer service rep was just spouting the company line. She transferred me, not to a manager, but back to the general customer service line, where there is a wait of over 30 minutes. If you value your time, and your client's money, don't use PODs. read more

I was charged twice as much as they quoted. It was one of the worst experiences I've had with a business. The people I had to talk to did not know anything about the services. They don't speak English very well and they use a script. Even if I tried to ask a question, they just kept reading! I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor and was told the supervisor would call me back in a half hour. I'm still waiting. The drivers who dropped off and picked up the pods were great, but dealing with the company was horrible! read more

Let me give you 2,775 reasons not to use this moving company. In my eye sight they are nothing more than thieves. Once I agreed to use the PODS they immediately charged my account $457.38. I cancelled my order because I couldn't get the permit only they require to place the POD. I could not get said permit because the city office was closed with no time frame for reopening. They could not delivery the POD so the order was cancelled. This was confirmed by 2 different people. Several hours after the order was cancelled they charged my account $2318.09. To justify they're taking my money they said I changed the deliver date, not cancelled, a LIE that conversation never happened. They said the Transportation fee is due when they deliver the POD. THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE POD. They refused to do anything to expedite the refund since they in essence stole the money from my account. I am scheduled have my car shipped today, they have the money to pay for that. I have a different mover than doesn't require permits coming this afternoon. Again, PODS has the money is needed to pay them. This is the most unscrupulous company I've worked with ever. They take money that they are not entitled to and then say I have to wait 7 to 10 for them to refund the money they NEVER should have taken out of my account in the first place. They also tried to tell me the $457.38 was just an authorization and they did not not receive that money, ANOTHER LIE, my bank verified that they received that money, yet in still several people told the same LIE that they did not receive the money. I live on a fixed income, I saved and starved to pay for this move only to be ripped off by company who's customer service agent laughed about the situation and hung up on me. Use this company at your own peril, they will NOT provide a service and take money they aren't entitled too, then make you fight and pray that they'll return the money to you. read more

Pods is awful. As a upack customer we had no choice but to use pods because the upack truck wouldn't fit in our new apartment complex. Worst decision. I would have driven all my stuff if it meant avoiding having to deal with pods and their awful customer service. No upfront mention that it will take 3 weeks from pickup for our stuff to be dropped out. Ridiculous. And this whole idea of paying in stages and if you don't pay when they say they cancel your drop off and then you have to painfully deal with their customer service to set that up again. You're holding all of our possessions do you think we won't pay you? No thanks. Not again. read more
