Untruthful business. I took my notebook here to have only my keyboard replaced. Three weeks later, after several run arounds, after several lies, they wanted to charge me for diagnosing and fixing what they said was a broken keyboard. The quote, which they would not abide by, was to REPLACE my keyboard for aesthetic reasons. They never even ordered a new keyboard, and they lied to me. Then they would not return my full $80. We have also posted this on our HOA intranet for the Joe Pool Peninsula residents, about 1,000 people near this business. STAY AWAY, there are plenty of other truthfull, customer first businesses that will fix your computer with respect, with no run around, without lying to you and without wasting your time. read more

I have lost so much respect for this place. Unfortunately I looked at the review about dishonesty too late. I was working on homework and my laptop went black screen with operation system failed. I took my laptop to Tracy (wonderful person) and she took my laptop, ran tests and said I needed to replace my hard drive and replace my anti-virus. $219.00!! I had used them before so I said Ok, that's fine because I need to finish my homework. 5 DAYS LATER, Peter (worst customer service ever) calls to tell me that they need to order a hard drive because there is not one in my laptop... I asked why are they just now ordering because Tracy told me 4 days ago that my hard drive was corrupt now he's saying it's not there!! I asked him if they could look around again because no one has had it but them. He begins to get upset with me for accusing him of stealing a hard drive. After 15 minutes of back and forth, I just told him I would come get my laptop and take it somewhere else. He then continues to talk to me about accusing him of taking it out. I don't understand what happened to it because I was working on homework before "operation system failed" displayed. Looking for another repair location right now. read more

I took my 2 year old laptop that I barely use in for a NEW battery - it would only last about 30 minutes without being plugged in. I paid a $ 35 diagnosis fee. Peter called me, said I needed a new battery and it would cost me $165. I said ok - 1 week later I called them to see if my computer was ready and Peter said I need a new motherboard? that the new battery will only charge to 80%....... WTH? I was willing to spend $165 on a new battery but I'm not willing to spend more than that on a 2 year old laptop. He told me the new battery will give me 3-4 hours of power, but I explained that when I bought the laptop I was getting 6-8 hours of power and that it was not worth it to me to spend $165 on a 4 hour charge. He was yelling at me at this point and I told him that if it was the motherboard then why didn't they explain that to me in the beginning - isn't that why I paid the diagnostic fee? I then told him to cancel the repair and put my original battery back in and I will go buy a new computer. I told him ill pick it up Monday morning and asked when they open - he told me 11am and it will cost me another $69 to get it back - (he said because of the time it took to tell me its the motherboard???? Doesn't that fall into the diagnostic charges? On Monday I figured I'd run errands and stop in on my way home, but when I did the lady at the front told me to come back later? what does that mean? in a couple hours? days? this afternoon? there is definitely a language barrier there and a lack of people skills. I would advise anyone who needs a computer repaired/upgraded or anything to AVOID these people at all costs. They are crooks and want to scam more money from the customer, they hold your property at ransom until you pay them what they want. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! read more

I was not very pleased with the quality of service that was provided at PNT Computers. I brought in a desktop that was running very slow and had a virus. I brought the computer home and experienced the same problems. I took the computer back and was told that I would cost me more to fix the problem. Poor and unethical service! read more

This is the WORST place I've ever been to in my entire life. I would give it -100 stars if I could. HORRIBLE service and a RIPOFF. I brought an iphone there to be unlocked and to fix some small cracks in the back. I asked for the price and was told to leave the iphone there to be looked at, and someone would call me to give me a quote. Nobody called. When I stopped by to ask about the quote, they said they had already unlocked my phone WITHOUT MY CONSENT. When I asked for my phone back, they refused to give it to me without paying 40 dollars. Begrudgingly, I paid the 40 dollars...ONLY TO BRING THE PHONE HOME AND FIND OUT THAT IT WAS STILL LOCKED. I drove back to the place and asked for my money back, however the owner said that he couldn't do that because he had bought the unlock from eBay and already spent enough time working on the phone. Instead he would only give me 10 dollars back. Do not trust this place, they do not know what they are doing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I will be reporting this to the BBB as well. read more
