Really great hole in the wall establishment! Excellent staff! Place could use a bit of cleaning though.

The mescal in his Mule and the cinnamon rum in the rocket were absolute show stoppers. We followed the cocktails with appetizers. He ordered stuffed jalapeños. The jalapeños were good were, but pretty basic. I ordered the seared octopus with potatoes and it was surprisingly delicious. Extremely tender and the Cajun spices, which are not usually my favorite, were different than usual in the absolute best way. We fallow our cocktails and appetizers with a pizza; half birria and half el pastor. The crust was super crispy on the outside and surprisingly fluffy in the middle. I am not a pizza person but this magical concoction I look forward to returning for. With the pizza we each had anothe libation. He had a beer and I had a cider. Both drinks were on tap, and so good. I am very picky and it is hard for me to give 5 star reviews. Honestly I am looking forward to returning to 1933. In my opinion it was a Home Run! 10 out of 10! If you haven't been to 1933 please go. The food is great and the friendly staff make this place phenomenal.

The garlic parm wings were better than the lemon pepper. It was saucy and had a good flavor while the lemon pepper needed more seasoning. The wings were well done which I like but wasn't very crunchy. The fries were fresh but very plain and bland, same with the clams. The fried pickles were good to me, very crunchy but my husband thought it was too much breading. I'm grateful for the hot fresh food and quick service but flavors need a bit work

As we arrived, we were welcomed by the twinkling lights of Main St. and a beautifully adorned town Christmas tree. The streets were nearly deserted, and at the corner, nestled in a lovely brick building, was Main St. Bar & Grill. Inside, the atmosphere was serene, offering an intimate dining experience devoid of lines and throngs of people. I felt as if I had stepped into a scene from a Hallmark movie. The menu boasted an impressive wine selection along with a fully stocked bar. I indulged in a glass of Rombauer Carneros, while my friend opted for an 805. For starters, we savored the delightful calamari and asparagus, both delectable treats. Our main course featured gnocchi and prawns that were absolutely scrumptious. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed creamy cheesecake accompanied by a Bailey's Irish coffee and a perfectly brewed regular coffee, both served at just the right temperatures. The ambiance allowed for easy conversation, with a noise level that was just right. There were no holiday crowds--just the charm of a quaint little town, fresh cuisine, and fabulous wine.

I've read some reviews where even if they were on a waitlist they still had to wait quite awhile once they checked in so I was really hoping our experience would be the opposite. Surprisingly, parking was a breeze despite so many people both outside the restaurant and inside. I replied "here" on my waitlist text and checked in once inside. Outside the restaurant there were already a lot of people waiting and inside it was packed and there were others before us already queuing to be seated. We could've been seated right away with no wait but I requested to be seated at a booth. The hostess told me it might be another 15-20 mins but fortunately it turned out we only waited for about 5 minutes. Our server Federico was great. Quick to arrive and take our drinks and order. Asked us if we are here for any special occasion and told him that we are here on a whim because we haven't eaten here for a long time and we happen to passing through. My husband and I both had the Fort worth rib eye. 18oz and 14oz both were cooked perfectly and tasted so good and it was so tender. Loved our sides as well. Baked potato with everything, corn and mashed potatoes with gravy. Our drinks and food came at a fair amount of time despite the restaurant being full to capacity. At the day and time we went which was dinner. It was very noisy and feels really cramped but the vibe of the ambiance was good despite that. If paying by card you can just pay on the device on the table which is so convenient and such a huge plus for me. Other restaurants should apply this paying system. We forgot how good their steaks were so we will definitely come back very soon.

This review is strictly for the FOOD--and the food is truly exceptional…read more I discovered Oaxaca completely by accident, thanks to my glamorous life as a night-shift nurse. When the rest of the world is ordering coffee and breakfast at 7 AM, sometimes I'm clocking out thinking, "You know what sounds good right now? DINNER." And Oaxaca has come to the rescue on more than a couple of occasions. Full disclosure: I've only ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself or the service. But after several orders, I feel morally obligated to give the kitchen its flowers. My latest obsession is the huevos rancheros con chorizo. Two eggs cooked your way over crunchy corn tortillas, topped with ridiculously flavorful crumbles of chorizo, nestled over black beans, with cilantro, red onion, and salsa on the side. It's savory, crunchy, spicy, filling--and exactly what my post-night-shift soul needs at an hour when normal people are eating oatmeal. The chicken mole is another WIN. Tender chicken covered in a rich, deeply flavorful chocolate mole sauce that had me sitting there thinking, "Okay Oaxaca... I see you." Absolutely delicious. The only miss for me so far was the breakfast burrito. It wasn't bad, just pretty average compared with everything else I've tried. When your huevos rancheros are out here performing at Bruno Mars levels, "pretty good" just doesn't hit the same. I'll update this review once I actually visit in person. Until then, Oaxaca will remain one of my favorite 7-AM-dinner spots--and night-shift me is VERY grateful it exists.

Many of them were unopened and this inedible. Also, I love salt and have been told I can be heavy handed but this was like swallowing sea water with a super high concentration of high blood pressure. Conversely, my husband ordered the wings. They were undercooked with no flavor. I thought he was exaggerating because he's picky and I usually happily eat his food - tasted one and we threw more than half away. I ordered the Neapolitan cheesecake and our bill was like $79. I finished the dessert because I was determined to get something out of it. Coffee shop ambiance because, well, that's what it is. Staff wasn't knowledge about the menu.

They're currently open in the evenings except for Mondays, but I would recommend checking their FB page or giving them a call to confirm just in case. It's still relatively new, so it hasn't been crazy packed when I've gone, but I'm sure once more people hear about it, they'll have tons of people rolling through. They're also doing dinner at the Library bar/Journey in downtown Vacaville as well! The same tables are used inside of the coffee shop and you can choose where you want to be seated. They have a pretty sizable menu with appetizers, soup/salads, burgers, main entrees, and dessert. The chorizo, clams and mussels appetizer was good but I wish it had a bit less chorizo since the meat overpowered the taste of the seafood. The pita bread that came with it was great to dip into the sauce though. The star of our meal was the 42 oz. rib eye. That's right, FORTY TWO OUNCE. I think our eyes were ridiculously bigger than our stomachs because we barely made a dent and were eating it for lunch the next couple days haha. But don't get me wrong, it was a delicious lunch and the mashed potatoes and roasted veggies that came with it were equally as tasty. They only have a few dessert options right now like cheesecake, affogato, and ice cream, but don't sleep on the vanilla cinnamon ice cream because it was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. They also have Taco Tuesday specials! We just tried it last night and it was delicious! For $30 you get an assortment of chicken, steak, shrimp, and chorizo, with salsa, rice, refried beans, a corn elote side, and 15 corn tortillas. It's a good amount for ~3 people and it was utterly delicious. We're looking forward to our next meal there!
