When we started, she got frustrated and told me that my eye kept twitching. I told her it was because I felt a burning sensation and also felt like the tape was poking my eye. She offered the sensitive glue which i agreed to but I feel like she got really upset based on her tone. She asked me if I had drunk coffee, which I had. In the past, it never became an issue so serious. She kept claiming, in a slightly rude tone, that I felt burning because my eye kept twitching, but she never tried to fully tape my eye shut. The entire time, I felt burning and discomfort in my left eye, and every time she moved my lashes around, it hurt. I have never had that happen before, so I was really scared that it might lead to an infection or something. This morning, I woke up with the bottom of my eye red and my eyes still feeling a bit irritated. She expected me to pay $100 of rushed work and walk away. She then started to call me names and say I'm very picky and that she doesn't want to do my nails anymore and that no one at the establishment wants to do my nails. I have been going there for over seven years. I've only had about two or three nail techs and they have all left the establishment. She is very rude and will do sloppy work when she is feeling rushed and will tell you that you are too picky. I save lives for a living and all you have to do is do my nails correctly and I'm picky? It's such an insult. Especially after giving these people hundreds /thousands of dollars over the years. At that point, I really didn't have any choice because I'm traveling and I didn't have another time to try to book the appointment so I went ahead and let Helen do my lashes. I did express that I wasn't fully comfortable, but I really just didn't have a choice at that point. She was very sweet and tried her best but burned one of my eyes very badly. We had to flush it out and put drops and then I was OK. She also at one point pulled one of my lashes out of my eye, and I physically winced and gasped. This place has certain types of style they offer. I recommend doing research first and see what you would like, comparing them to the styles the store offers. I learned the way they achieved the full lash look for me was using clover lashes, which is one lash base, but it branches into 4 lashes. They write notes so they know what you had done during the last appointment. You can also change what kind of style you like. Cindy and Christine are good at understanding what you would like and can give recommendations. I told Cindy and Christine what I was looking for, and they were able to order the lashes and get the look I wanted. I was very appreciative they were able to order it. All of the other lash techs are very skilled at their job, and very friendly. They are very detailed and finished within an hour. They keep a quiet atmosphere. Christine is my go to tech even though everyone else does a good job. She's fast, efficient and she makes sure you like your lashes. She does everything she can to make sure you like your lashes, going above and beyond. I asked her to order longer extensions, and she already requested it before I asked her. I love being able to text them and book an appointment. They're very accommodating in moving dates/time. Usually a tech is available when I need them.
