Terrible experience. Wouldn't even give it 1 star. Went in to get short GelX, the lady took 30 minutes on my nails, used non sterile cuticle cutters that she just pulled out from her nail cart resulting in a serious infection in my finger. Noticed my right pinky finger starting to swell up just about 4 days after getting my nails done. Called the nail salon and they had me send pictures of my nail, then proceeded to say that nothing is wrong when I went to the doctors that day, and they told me that it was infected and proceeded to put me on strong oral antibiotics to kill the infection. Now my nail is about to fall off, still continuing to take antibiotics and wrap my nail with triple antibiotic cream. Had to fight to get my money back, the lady constantly said "nothing is wrong" "why only happen to one finger" and just telling me to come in so they can take the nail off and that nothing was wrong... when CLEARLY something was wrong. Extremely unprofessional, unsterile environment, rushed service and terrible customer service. 0/10 do NOT recommend!!!!!!! read more

In DESPERATE need of a fill, I walked into J'adore at 6pm on a Saturday. I normally go to a shop in Long Beach, but have had a couple experiences there that made me unexcited about returning. But again, I needed a fill BAD, and J'adore is super close to home. I'm SOOO happy I went! Ty did my nails...because my ombré set had been done at a different shop, color matching was a task neither he nor I felt like tackling, so I opted for a full new set. His work is beautiful! He's extremely gentle, a very pleasant demeanor/funny, and even helped me scroll my phone (I was reading a book on my phone while getting my set ). I arrived pretty close to closing, at no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Ty and the rest of the staff there were very friendly. The shop is clean, but not super fancy (I personally don't need that). The shopping center itself is a little sketchy, unfortunately...but this is a small trade off for the wonderful environment inside the shop. I was able to pay via Zelle, but there is a sign asking that tips be in cash...I added my tip to the Zelle payment, and sincerely hope Ty gets it. I just don't travel with cash at all anymore, since COVID. I'll be sure to have cash for tips going forward. I will DEFINITELY be coming here for my nail needs from now on. Thank you! read more

**Terrible Experience at this salon. My visit was a total letdown. I specifically asked for matte baby pink nails, but what I got was a clear coat of matte that's completely wrong. The application was messy and the nails look dirty, and see through. As you can see in the photos I've attached. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. So I would have given five stars , but the manager don't know her name but this person was very rude she was so focused on everyone else, she was using the drill on my nails without looking, I let her know your hurting me several times and she told me that's how I do it. Okay so I tried this nail salon for the first time since my daughter and her friend went there a few weeks ago and were satisfied with their experience. Upon entering the place as a walk in today along with my daughter, we were greeted in my opinion in an aggressive tone by a man saying, "What do you want?" I was a bit caught off guard and paused, then said, "I want to get my nails done...a gel manicure, full set" and my daughter said, "regular manicure". To be honest, I was ready to walk out of this place based upon how we were greeted. Since we did not have an appointment I was okay with waiting. There were only 3 other customers already getting their nails done. Taylor did an okay job in my opinion. She left excess gel underneath 3 of my nails and my right thumb nail was not filed evenly. One of my issues with her was her mannerisms and gestures. When you are telling a customer to do something, such as, move your hand or finger a certain way don't grunt or mumble, say what you mean please!! Please learn to speak clear English if you are going to work with English speaking customers and give me consistent eye contact. Overall my experience at this nail salon was just okay. I don't think I will be returning any time soon. read more

I paid for a pedicure and the woman who did my toes did a horrible job. I will say that after complaining they completely removed the gel and re did the entire polish. It was a waste of my time. The girl who first did them did come say sorry to me and she seemed nice so maybe she is new at this so I won't hold it against her. However, I know you practice a lot before getting licensed so it's not an excuse. I also asked for me and my best friend to have our pedicures at the same time so we can leave at the same time as we were willing to wait. They said they would and never did as they said. Another person named Taylor re did the polish for the pedicure which looked very nice. I was upset that I was at the salon for a very long time. I wouldn't go back because it didn't really feel welcoming and each time I asked if the items were cleaned or new the person attending me would have a hard time responding because she didn't know the answer and would need help from her manager. As I know to be licensed you need to know about sanitation so it's a yes or no if the tools are clean and if foot scrubs are new. I strongly don't recommend this business. I came in for a manicure and Pedicure. They ask me if I want gel nails I said no just regular polish. Well little did I know that the person who did my mani did gel polish when I asked for regular polish. But the person who did my pedi did regular polish as I requested. So they charged me $57. I paid without thinking much about until I go to my car. So I went back and ask about the charges. They said I got gel nails. I told them I ask for regular polish and that started an disagreement and I requested they refund me the additional charge for gel. Well the argument continue and I told them I would blast them on social media and wouldn't be returning. We continue to argue and finally they return me my $12. I'm so pissed that this happened on my Bday. Oh and get this they said let us take off the gel and replace with regular polish. I said no I'm not spending no more time in here for your mistake. SMH. This nail salon is new, so this review is for nail tech Taylor. She was my nail tech for a few years, but moved to Arizona. I was so happy to learn she recently moved back and would be working here! Taylor has been the only person to get my acrylics EXACTLY how I want them. She always takes her time with each step, never rushing and checking in with you to make sure she is doing everything the way you desire. She not only KILLS IT on every design, but she is meticulous with her shaping, which is so important. I also love how Taylor can do new styles of fake nail, such as Gel-X. Taylor is an amazing person and always made my time at the nail salon relaxing, fun, and cherished. I never missed my fill because I loved spending time talking with her.
