Plumbline provided a furnace tuneup. Which includes a light dusting and part of it is checking the flame sensor. This was mid January, two months later the furnace wasn't running normal. I went in to check the furnace only to find it very dirty and a dirty flame sensor. I've called Plumbline 3 times and haven't heard from anyone. They're $79 furnace tuneup is only a sales tactic to come tell you that your furnace is old and you should get one through them for $15K. I had high hopes that they're HVAC would be reliable and honest, but they've been the complete opposite . I will say that their plumbing guys were awesome but the HVAC must have different sales goals. read more

I asked them to come to my home and set my toilette after I had it snaked and the "snake" person said I needed to hire a plumber. I called Plumbline and they sent out a "technician" for a $60.00 charge which seems to be the normal charge these days. He came in, looked at the hole in my bathroom floor and told me the floor around the toilette was rotted and I needed to hire someone to replace the floor around the toilette, first. Then he tried to charge me $260.00. I told him "no." He didn't do anything. I would pay him the trip charge and that was all. He postured at me and told me he was a licensed plumber. I told him I didn't care what his license was, he didn't do anything and I wasn't going to pay him anymore than the trip charge. He said he was going to call his boss and walked away to make a private phone call. He came back and begrudgingly said he would accept the $60.00. Not calling this company again. I have a really old home! Naturally, when it comes to turning on the water I worry something is going to leak. So it comes as no surprise I got a leak. We were sent Dave as we used Plumbline service in the past for an electrical problem. Dave was great! He explained the problem I was experiencing due to some lines incorrectly installed by the former homeowner. They just weren't aware on how to install this type of work correctly. Dave explained how he was going to fix it and why. He also explained other things he could do to help this area from freezing in the colder months. Anytime you have to deal with a home issue and repair the stress to get it right the first time is nerve racking. I believe in Dave's work and feel like the issue with the pipes has been fully resolve. The cost was more than fair for the work he did and then some to do the job right. Dave did an excellent job! I had an hvac and ac replacement done along with a replacement electric box. The team showed up around 7:00 a.m. making their way through snow clogged streets that hadn't been plowed. They had to dig out parking places for five vans and paths my yard to access the a.c. and power box. They were professional and kept me informed with what was going on. Customer service is poor. I am a general contractor and referred them to a client. They showed up and said they could not help her, but did explain why. She called them to ask more questions and got Disconnected. After that when she called back, she could only get voice mail. She requested a call back and never got it. They seemed to have screened her calls. I called and got a poor excuse, and requested to get a call back from a manager. I had asked for a better explanation to clarify why they could not help her out. Hoping to avoid sending them out to a job they can't do again, and I never received a call back.  I will refer a different company in the future. read more

I scheduled an appointment a few days out and was only given an option for an 8-hour window. 8 hours! Got a confirmation text that the tech would call 30 - 40 min before arrival. The day of I missed a call from an unknown number and not even 30 seconds later received a text that I should call plumbline to reschedule. I called a few times over the next hour and was sent to voicemail. I left a message for callback and no one called or showed up. Such a waste of time, and terrible experience for a potential repeat customer. I also called the "dispatch manager" the company keeps referring to here in the comments. No answer. read more

BEWARE OF SCAMS! My husband signed up for the VIP service with this business. When we had a backed up sewer line, I called them and they cleaned it out for $75, but they said that we should have a camera view inspection of the sewer line because they thought there could be a problem, and they would have to set that up later that evening. They did not have the camera equipment with them. Later that day another person came out and did an examination via camera of the sewer line. He said that the lines underneath our front yard and into the middle of the street needed to be replaced the tune of $25,000. Their process would have also torn up my entire front yard, including a French drain and a swale drain. Restoring that by using a landscaping service would easily have been another $25,000. So I was looking at a $50,000 cash expenditure. Plumbline did not leave me with a copy of the video of my sewer lines. At the urging of neighbor, I got a second opinion from a company that she recommended. This company does not do the type of extensive repairs that Plumbline sells, so they have no invested interest in selling me on any repairs if they are not needed. They clean and maintain lines but do not repair them. I asked Plumbline to email me a copy of the video of my sewer lines. I wanted to review it and also to show it to other companies for competitive bidding. They promised to do so the same day, but they never delivered the video. In fact, they did not call me back with any follow up at all after I requested the video, not even to check on their $25,000 proposal. It has been almost a week. The second company started with a camera scope to check the condition of my sewer lines after having been cleaned the day before. I myself could see that there were still lots of roots and debris still in the sewer line that had not been properly cleaned the day before. Because of the accumulation of debris in the lines, it was impossible to determine whether they needed to be replaced or not. There were lots of sections where the camera just showed black areas. The second company cleaned the sewer line, did another camera inspection to find any leftover roots or blockages, and then cleaned it again to get those remaining problematic areas. He saved me a copy of the final video on a thumb drive. When the work was done, the technician explained that we needed to run a lot of water through the lines to flush out the debris left over from cleaning (chopped up roots, scale, etc.) Plumbline had told us not to run much water through the lines because it could back up again. It made sense to me that we would need to flush out the debris that was loosened up in the cleaning process, and that is what we did. Everything was fine. My sewer lines will need to replaced at some point, but they are fine for now, and may be fine for many more years. The second company gave me some excellent instructions on how to remove sludge build up and recommended annual cleanings at a very reasonable price to attack the tree roots that will continue to invade my lines. They also have a jet flushing system for several hundred dollars, but the technician said the benefit wasn't worth the price and my situation and not to go ahead with that extra expense. He explained that one of the biggest scams in Colorado is companies giving a low price to come in and clean sewer lines, not really cleaning them well, and then recommending that you have the whole sewer line system replaced ASAP. I am so grateful for my neighbor who insisted that I get a second opinion. read more

I'm a retired former Stationary Engineer And a senior. I went through Home Depot to get a hot water installed. Price $2604. PLUMBLINE tech shows up and takes a few pictures then heads up stairs to check my water pressure he tells me it's over a 100psi so you need a pressure reducer. I ask how much is that and he says it's $500. I just had a sprinkler guy tell me it was below 80psi. I told him to leave and I went and bought the same water pressure gauge at Home Depot. My reading was 81-91psi. Called PLUMBLINE to complain and they said a Manager will get back to you within a couple days. Unacceptable !!!! Do not use this company!!! read more

The WORST HVAC company in Colorado. There prices are 2 - 3 times what others charge, and their work leaves a lot to be desired. They came to our home to price an on demand hot water system, and it was $17.000.00 more than the contractor we chose. A second time we called them for a simple boiler service, and by the time they finished, with all of their B.S. upcharges, it ended up being over 1600.00. I called the owner and demanded a refund, and I got it. Very unscrupulous and amoral company. read more

First time using Plumbline and had them come out to do a furnace tune up. 1. They were hours late. The window where they were supposed to show up was already a 5 hour window, but they went 3 hour past that. We waited around for 8 hours. Additionally, I called the main office to get an ETA, and the technician was supposed to call me.. got nothing. 2. When the tech did get here he stayed for approximately 30 minutes and proceed to sell us a new AC/furnace combo. When we told him our AC was brand new he told us we might need a new furnace then and showed us some pictures of dusty parts in our furnace he had taken. When we told him we probably don't want to replace the furnace right away, he said we needed to at least replace the motor and some fan/vent because it was dirty and could contribute to poor air quality. 3. Okay then- giving the tech the benefit of the doubt, we asked for a quote. Got nothing. Called the main office next day and requested the quote again. Got nothing. But we did get some vague pictures of dusty furnace parts. ‍ All in all, don't do it. I got sucked in on the furnace tune up deal but at the end of the day I don't even know if anything was actually done. We're about to get a second opinion here so we'll see. Update: we got that second opinion- turns out the motor is fine and plumblines tech didn't clean or do anything when they were here. Last update: so after a scathing email I sent to Plumbline, the manager followed up and refunded the service and agreed that this one visit was not up to standard. As far as that goes, I appreciate their follow up and customer service. Still think they should vet their techs better though. read more

I called Plumbline services after I got a quote from Brothers plumbing, heating and air to snake my drain for $570. I declined Brothers bid. Plumline showed up an hour after Brothers had left. they completed the work in about 90 minutes and charged $93 as they had quoted. There was no upsell or scare tactics. Xena Crist was the technician who was very professional and did high quality work. She explained that the wet wipes my mother was flushing was the problem even though the wipes are labeled as flushable. The work was done at my 93 year old mother's home. Many contractors have taken advantage of her diminished cognition. Last week applewood plumbing charged her $468 for a $40 kitchen faucet cartridge that took 31 minutes to install from walking in the door to walking out. I called them and got half of the money back. I am so happy to find an honest plumber in Plumbline services. I will use them again and recommend them to others. I have read the reviews for Plumbline that are highly negative and Plumbline responds that they have no record of the complainer as a client. Humm.... I think I know what is going on there. Corey was the service professional who came to my house to give me a quote on AC. Not only did he wear an unprofessional political mask when he came to my house- he would not wear it properly. Wearing a racist Blue Lives Matter mask is completely unprofessional to a home visit. Even a teenager could figure out that you shouldn't wear overtly political clothing when working customer service. After I told him about my covid concerns his ill fitting mask would not stay up and fell down at least four times when he was near me. Even when I would step back he would walk towards me- with his nose hanging out of his mask. I told him repeatedly I'm not vaccinated yet. When I repeated to him my Covid concerns he dismissed the fact he wasn't being careful. I would never dream of treating a client in their home this way. After seeing his representation of Plumbline Services with their lack of basic customer service, outrageous quotes, and lack of safety I would not recommend anyone using their services. read more

Christian came to our house to inspect the AC and found all kinds of thing wrong. He said that he recommended shutting the system off completely to avoid overheating some kind of capacitor that would cost $4k to replace. He quoted me a $4k repair to clean coils, replace fans, etc, etc. We got a second opinion that said the coils were totally fine and that the system looked great. They topped it off with coolant and charged us almost nothing. This type of thing should be fraud and criminal. I do not recommend. These people are either incompetent or dishonest. What a joke! No one ever showed up (8-12 window)..When I called at 4:00 I was told no one was coming and I should reschedule!

S-C-A-M! We had Plumbline out for a routine sewer cleaning and they found everything wrong with our sewer line. Low spots, failing joints, you name it. The good news is they were happy to replace the whole line for only $10,000 if I signed the contract on the spot. Considering A) I'm not and idiot, and B) we had a sewer scope a year earlier that revealed no issues, I didn't bite. Instead I called an independent sewer scope company, who again found zero issues. Neither did the reputable company who cleaned the line the following year, nor a third sewer scope company when we sold the home a few months ago. This is called FRAUD. The only upside is all of the funny things my daughter says about this garbage company every time we see one of their vans around town. read more

Called for a repair to my leaking bathtub faucet. They were quick to come out, so that was nice. Charged a $50.00 service fee for the visit, typical. The plumber took one look (eyes, no tools) and decided it was a failing "shower cartridge". The replacement would cost 450.00 + 50.00 for the part. Now, I'm not a plumber so I trust the "experts" not to swindle me and when the quote is this high I assumed it was a job that was very invasive and would take several hours. 15 minutes after turning off the water, he was finished and left. Yes, 15 minutes. In conclusion, unless you're prepared to spend $800.00+/hr on plumbing services (not including parts) I'd try elsewhere. read more

I would leave 0 stars, but that's not an option. These people were fraudulent. We had them come out to fix our furnace, which was 1.5 years old because it stopped working. The guy told us that we needed a new furnace for 16k. We asked how much to get it working, he said 2k and we paid it. It seemed weird to have so much work with a new furnace, so we called another company. they came out and said it was a simple sensor and would have been a trip charge. This is fraud. I'm taking them to small claims court because I called to get it resolved twice, no one called me back. Don't use them. They work on commission and don't care. read more

These people are fantastic. They had previously installed a completely new sewer line from the house to the street on a rental property I own. They did a beautiful job and this is certainly not a job anyone would want to try on their own. I received a lifetime guarantee on the line. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to replace my 20-year-old furnace and air-conditioning unit. It was living on borrowed time. Josh came out and was extremely professional. He laid out several options for us and we decided to go with the Carrier. He spent plenty of time with us and answered all our questions. The professionals at Plumline are actually factory representatives of Carrier. Each has gone to school at Carriers factory to understand the units. After the job is done which was the same day, Jay spent time with me going over the entire unit and how to use our new computerized thermostat. We also had a humidifier and special air filter installed. I immediately noticed less dust in our home. The humidifier makes things seem warmer at a lower temperature so I'm saving money. I can't say enough nice things about these people and I would recommend them to anyone. The difference in the heating of my home is amazing. There are no cold spots and The carrier unit keeps the temperature exactly as I program it. We previously had booster fans installed to keep the house warm. We don't even need those anymore.
