I cannot say enough great things about Roberto and San Angelo Plumbing! We recently moved into a…read morehome that was sold as a short sale and had been a bit neglected. We called him to look at a broken lift pump, among other plumbing issues. He fit us into his busy schedule and made SURE to get the needed repairs done before we moved in (a week later). So far he has replaced the lift pump and updated its venting, replaced two toilets (that we purchased at Home Depot), and replaced a cold water faucet in laundry room. While he and his son were here working, Lowe's delivered our new appliances (fridge and stove) and the Lowe's guys could not seem to remove the old gas line from the former stove. Roberto to the rescue! Took him less than 5 minutes to get it hooked up and then he double checked the fridge water line and made adjustments to that as well. He also happened to be here on moving day and he hooked up our washer and dryer, and discovered that the dryer vent was put together backwards. He completely redid the venting for us. Honestly. If you need a plumber - call San Angelo. Amazing work, great prices, honest and hard working.

I first contacted them when Novi had a mandatory plumbing related regulation in effect and they seemed the most knowledgeable, available and at the best cost. The next time I called them, it took three visits and several workers to compete the tasks. While they did locate a replacement part that I needed, it all turned out to be much more expensive than I expected. Next, they came out for free to inquire about a question I had and caught a different issue in the process, which they took care of that day. So it seems a mixed bag with unknown outcomes, but they can usually come over quickly and get the job done.

I do not recommend Longs unless you know specifically what you want and are a builder/designer…read more They are not for consumers who want to upgrade a room. They are not friendly and frankly I felt they just wanted me out of the store. One example, I was given advice on a faucet from them and when it was determined it was not going to available for 3-4 months, I asked for something similar. The front desk person just sifted through a delta catalog to see what faucet was available, not one that fits our design preferences, etc. (Note: I was able to find the faucet at Lowes and delivered within 3 weeks). I get that they might not keep stock on hand but I should not be shuffled through each faucet in a catalog to give me what delta has in stock at that time. It was rude and I felt demeaned because this is now how I wanted to get my room designed. A second example was for the 2nd bathroom for a quote for shower doors (European style). In the initial quote, we got a quote for regular shower doors. When I figured out that this was for regular doors, I asked for a requote. So, I set up an appointment for them to come out a 2nd time. However, a few hours later, another person from the store left a message on my phone with a quote that was over double. Needless to say, they didn't even do the order correctly the first time, they were inconveniencing me with their person to come out again but then also giving me a quote without even getting the order right in the first place. It seemed to me their back office and front office don't even talk. It had nothing to do with the money but I lost complete trust that they even care to do a good, quality job. So, I cancelled the appointment and will not be calling them again. We want to fully support small business but not Longs after giving numerous chances. Who knows?

TL;DR ... A terrific experience!…read more I arrived home at 8PM on a Sunday from a trip to Ohio, only to find that I had no heat. I messaged my favorite plumber (Kennedy Plumbing) asking if he could recommend someone for a furnace repair ... he immediately recommended D&G. He knows his craft. No wasted motions or steps. Within 15 minutes the root cause was identified and repaired - a safety sensor was dirty. Add D&G to your Contacts app ... I have!

Editing to add: Since posting my initial review, I promptly heard from the owner, Peter, at 8:00…read morea.m. Monday morning, which I was quite impressed by. He took full ownership of the situation and never tried to cover anything up or make excuses. He sent out his most experienced technicians to thoroughly go over the system and determine whether there was an issue that had been missed over the years or whether the unit ultimately needed to be replaced. They were finally able to determine that the AC had been installed incorrectly. While I'm certainly not thrilled that an improper installation wasn't identified during the multiple service calls we've had over the years, I do want to give credit where credit is due. Once Peter and his team became involved, they were extremely solution-focused and committed to getting to the bottom of the problem. I also learned that Peter was not the owner when I originally purchased the AC, which makes me even more appreciative that he stepped up and took responsibility for an issue that technically predated his ownership. He assured me that, one way or another, we would get the situation resolved, and I respect that. One thing that really stood out to me throughout this process was how highly each of the technicians spoke of one another. Every gentleman I interacted with this week had nothing but positive things to say about the rest of the team. It was very obvious that they have each other's backs and are all working toward the same goal. At the end of the day, I'm still disappointed that it took this long and this many service calls to uncover the installation issue. However, I believe in giving credit where it's due, and Peter and his team deserve recognition for how they handled things once they became aware of the problem. Their communication, willingness to investigate, and focus on finding a solution made a significant difference. ***************************** We have had ongoing issues with our AC system since purchasing a new unit from this company five years ago. From the beginning, the system has struggled to keep up and has consistently run nearly 24/7. After having the team come out multiple times to troubleshoot the issue, I ultimately had to have the system and other aspects of my home thoroughly evaluated. I was eventually informed that the AC unit installed was improperly sized and too small for our home. This has resulted in years of frustration, along with thousands of dollars in additional utility costs and service fees trying to diagnose and address the problem. I'm extremely disappointed that a new system was installed incorrectly in the first place and that it took multiple service calls and significant expense to determine the root cause.
