I just finished a 2 year long remodel on a historic home in Pasadena. It was an extremely frustrating process, but Jason and his team were a highlight within our list of subcontractors and never added to our stress. They completely repiped our 132 year old house, added a new water line, installed all fixtures, upgraded us to tankless, and help reroute part of our sewer line. They always showed up on time, completed their work in a timely manner met with inspectors to answer any questions, helped trouble shoot a number of issues we came across, and showed a lot of patience with some of our other groups on site. Our house had some copper pipes, but we wanted to have all the old pipes replaced. Plumbing Professionals did a great job, they are easy to work with, very professional, their prices was very fair. We have hired them for other jobs at our house, and also at a commercial building we own, and he's always done a great job. I trust him implicitly. Do NOT let this guy fool you. I first used Jason Bingham in 2014 threw this sight. He was the plumber for an 800 sq' addition I did in 2018. I contacted him in 2023 asking for his future service on a 1000 sq' ADU to be constructed in 2024. In Aug., 2023 I paid him to perform an evaluation on the sewer line which he completely got wrong. Why he got this eval wrong? Because Jason does the absolute minimum when it comes to the work he performs. I thought he would use a laser or transit to gage the backyard slope considering that this was more than 130' sewer drop, but he said no need. He put his camera in the sewer said the drop was good, took his cash and was on his way. Also, currently the main underground water line he installed to the ADU is secured wi 2 drywall screws. That water line is currently leaking where the PVC meets the brass because of his poor installation method. Something I will have to pay to have fixed after I already paid him to do it right the 1st time. The list of his minimal workmanship is to long to list. He gave me a price for numerous tasks, only to do the easy parts of the contract and then demand the most $ he could get from the contract leaving the hard work that no one can do for the $ left in the contract. Very comin technique used by contractors. From there you have to beg him to come back to the project. He ignores calls. And, outright lying to me about "I'll be there tomorrow". HA. From my history will him he will tell whatever you want to hear, so be aware. I tried to talk to him about all of this and his response was that he has done nothing wrong, stands by the methods and the ways he does his work. For almost 4 months I had an open 3' deep, 130' long sewer trench because of Jason B. leadership. Wish I never had to write this review but this is the only recourse we have as home owners. Jason is a great "one man show plumber" when he's not chasing around work trying to do multiple jobs at once. Also, make sure to get all work he performs in writing and to specify the payments for each task performed. CSLB has no power over the contractors. Contractors can treat us any way they want and it's up to us to protect ourselves. read more

Got my bathroom completely remodeled by Jason and his team. New tiles, single sink was changed to a double sink vanity, demo'd the old bathtub and built a stand up shower with our material and design choices. this guy knows his stuff. He even lifted the 300 lb vanity with granite counters up the stairs to my master bathroom with his team. I couldn't be happier with the finished remodel I also had him help in the remodeling of my kitchen. Patching the walls, electric work, appliance installation, and faucet and plumbing installation. Jason saved us tons of money, always trying to keep costs down. When he found a pan leaking under our guest bath shower, in our rental condo, he was so cute about it. He got on messenger and lol, asked me not to send anyone out to get him, haha! I'm in the UK and had no idea how bad the condo had become, even though I had 'people' over there who could have informed me, but, they couldn't be bothered, Jason on the other hand gave it to me straight. He didn't want to tell me about the pan since everything was going so well, but, he knew he had to or the floors/floorboards would have turned into a disaster a few months down the line. It was the little things, here and there when I knew how concerned he was with his customers and not only about $$$$$$. As a plumber he's one of the best, keeps you as calm as possible knowing problems will arise if one does not keep their plumbing up to date, it was out of date, only not to my knowledge. Service = excellent, emails = great, prices = very reasonable. He even paid for a new floor, without reservation, when a worker messed up big time. He felt bad about it and wanted to rectify the situation. Well, that he did and the new floor looks lovely. This review was for 2012 when all the work was done, only it's listed as 2014?! read more

Jason has been my go-to plumber for a few years now and I have been consistently pleased with his service. He is friendly, approachable, responsive, and important to me - so tidy when he finishes up his work. He is also always promptly on time. (Maybe once he had an issue and was running late - which I get, things happen - but he was sure to keep me informed and updated of his progress which I really appreciate. Nothing is worse than waiting around in limbo for a service appointment.) He is always willing to explain what he is doing and why and I never feel he is trying to up-sell me. If I have a problem he helps identify the issue and correct it without going overboard. He has repaired clogged drains, sinks, and garbage disposals, installed a new bathroom sink, kitchen sink and I just called on him to do some shower valve work. Installed a drainage system for my back yard. It's been almost a year and it's still working great. Used to have a pond against my house even with light rain, now no problems even during torrential rains. Had a leak in the water pipe going to my house. Jason spent lots of time and got real dirty digging and climbing under the house to find the problem. It was a fairly big job, but Jason and his team worked late into the evening and replaced it in one day so I didn't have to go without water. I contracted this company to repipe my house (1.5 Bath), they did a excellent job and completed everything including inspection within 48hrs. I got several other quotes from repiping companies that claim they charge 1/2 the price of plumbers, but Jason of Plumbing Professionals beat them all. Day 1: Jason and his crew removed all old Pipes and Installed new PEX with water back online by end of day. Day 2: The crew triple checked everything while waiting for city inspection, once Ok'd by the city inspector the crew sealed up all walls and even added the texture back leaving it ready for paint. Jason n his team did a wonderful job on my gas n water pipes. Originally, it was just going to be a gas pipe replacement. Boy! am I glad he suggested to have the water pipe replaced as well. There was water leak on the old water pipe that affected the gas pipe. Jason is very reasonable in his price. He wont rip u off like some would.
