I did reach out to Plumming "experts" to install a toilet that I had bought from China so the water intake was different then the US, he came out and looked at it and said yes he can do it and it will cost $425 pay cash or Zelle. I had 2 good experiences with this company in which they fixed a clogged toilet. Both Gabe and his son Aaron were professional. Not so Much this time...I reached out this week as 2 toilets are backed up. Gabe told me he would be at my house between 11-12:30pm today. At 1:30pm, I sent a text saying that I had to leave the house. I did not get a response. I waited and then called. Gabe told me he had sent me a text which I did not receive. He said he would be at my house between 3:30-4pm and just had to confirm changing his schedule with another customer. Again, no response or confirmation. Then he sent me a text referring me to Kim at Roto Rooter. I called the number and there was no Kim and no one called me back. I reached back out to Gabe stating I wish he had just let me know that he wasn't available. I am disappointed in the lack of candor and respect. I could have looked for another company. I contacted them on a Saturday afternoon because all three of my salon shampoo sinks suddenly backed up. Gabe got back to me immediately and told me they would have someone out that afternoon. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, he contacted me again and said the jobs they were already committed to were taking longer than planned. However, Gabe promised he'd be there on Sunday, the next morning. In my experience, it's difficult to find someone that will actually show up. Not only did he show up, he was 30-minutes early. He got right to work and was able to clear our drains as promised. He was courteous, extremely polite and very helpful. I reported this guy to the BBB and CSLB because he charges more than double of what other plumbers would charge and he said he rushed over to my house after I called is a lie. When I called he said he was on another call and when he finished up there he would come by. That was like 2 hours later. I believe he didn't tell me what his charges would be because he knew it was outrageous and most people would refuse him. My son had already turned off the main water to the house so at the time I called him I did not have a gushing pipe flooding my house. Steer away from this company. Gabe is a complete crook. I had Gabe out to see why we were smelling something foul from the shower drain. He told me he ran a camera down and told me that the P-trap was broken and that he would need to break out the tile floor and replace it. He never showed me the video, I trusted him that he was telling the truth. His estimate without the tile work was $4750.00. When I told him I felt that was high and that I wanted to get some other estimates, he told me that if I did it that day he would take $1000 off. (I have the texts as proof of this) I asked for a copy of the video and he said he didn't have it. I called another plumber and this time I watched as he put a video camera down. The drain line was ABS plastic, no problems, no cracks, and the smell was simply from some dirty stuff at the top that was drying out from under use. He cleaned it and it's been fine for weeks now. I tried calling Gabe to tell him what happened and he would never pick up the phone. So I texted saying I wanted to schedule the work, just so I could speak to him, he texted back telling me to send him a deposit. I told him I wanted to talk first, and he finally called me. I explained what happened and gave him the choice to refund the money I sent him for the service call and "video scan" which I'm not sure he really did, otherwise I would be writing a review telling my experience. He hung up on me. This was a blatant example of a plumber lying to to do work that didn't need to be done. Hopefully this review will help others stay away from this liar. read more

I had used this provider earlier this year and, even though the price was somewhat high, they were responsive and did a good job. So when my mom's water heater went out this week, she decided to call them. What a mistake that was. The estimate for a standard, 40 gallon water heater was $3,200 and he said he needed a 50% deposit. When I found about this, I thought it sounded outrageously expensive. I spoke with my brother and we agreed that we should find a different provider. When I texted Gabe to ask him to return my mom's deposit, minus his consult fee for that day, he sent back less than $600 of my mom's $1,500 deposit. His invoice claimed that he had ordered the water heater from Pasadena, (over 100 miles away from where Mom lives), and that mom was being charged for ordering and cancelling the water heater and for "removal", even though he did not remove the old water heater. I honestly didn't think contractors could ask for more than a 10% deposit; this wasn't a custom item. When I asked why Gabe couldn't have gotten a water heater from Lowe's or Home Depot, he claimed that the ones they sell are poor quality. I suggest getting multiple estimates before going with this company. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! I regretfully hired Gabe to inspect and clean out my bathroom sink drains since they were clogged and not draining. He showed up at my house 30 mins after his scheduled appointment time and had a "I'm better than you" cocky attitude. He cleaned out my pipes as they were needed, but it took him 2 hours longer than he said, and he was arguing on the phone with his girlfriend/wife the entire time. A week later I noticed the pipes were not put back together correctly and water was leaking all over the inside of the bathroom cupboards. I called Plumbing Experts to come and repair/warranty the work and he said they were booked solid for the next couple weeks, and I would have to pay another $150 service visit plus repair costs.
