I don't know what the story is. I called the phone number. It is out of service. I went to the address listed: 28763 Avenida Marquesa, Cathedral City, CA 92234. It was a residence and no trucks were in sight. I wanted to contact them as they had installed an upscale water heater in the condo I had bought. The prior owner was the one who had them do the installation in July 2016. She left the paperwork with the unit. The water heater failed. I contacted the home protection plan I had. They came out and saw the problem. The electronic control unit failed due to it having been installed incorrectly. [The gas line comes in through the control unit but there apparently is supposed to be some type of filter installed from the line to where it goes into the control unit. The lack of this caused it to fail.] The warranty would not cover a replacement part due to its being installed incorrectly, voiding not only the terms of the home protection plan but also the manufacturer's 6 yr warranty. So, I had to foot the bill of a new control unit [almost $400] plus the necessary installation fee. As there was no way for me to contact PDM by phone and due to my skepticism due to the address being a residence, I cannot say anything at this point other than any person considering them, be aware of what happened to me. read more

I have rental property in that area and had used them on more than one occasion. I found that their services were excellent, speedy and reasonably priced. The person that came to the rental property knew right away how to fix my terrible leak and I can't say enough about how pleased I was to get my ordeal over. Called this morning, left a voicemail, due to the dire need to have a bathroom leak repaired and to my surprise I get a call back from Phillip. (After calling several companies here in the desert) Phillip was nice enough to listen to my inquiry. Not only did I get a quick response but I was very happy to hear that someone will be coming to my home the same day. (Especially for a Friday) Gil and his teammate Brian came over, diagnosed the problem and explained it in detail what the problem was. Gil stated a part needed to be replaced due to the lack of a previous irresponsible plumbers work. Gil not only left, came back, and even detail clean the countertop. This overall experience was the best service/customer service I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs. I would give zero stars if I could. I waited for two days for someone to call and and come by to take a look at a leak. Finally I had to call them to see if anybody was going to show up and was told that they don't do big jobs right now. I don't know why they couldn't have told me that when I called to schedule the appointment. I don't know how they can consider it a big job when they haven't even seen it. Instead I wasted two days waiting on somebody that never had any intention of showing up. This is so inconsiderate and not a good way to conduct business. I will be sure to stay clear of this company in the future. read more

This job was completed at a fair price and I would highly recommend using this service in future. Needed emergency water shutoff for a leaking/ actively on full force tub faucet in a rental home after hours. Tenant is still sitting without water tonight. Was told that the guys had "just come back from a big job and were exhausted". The soonest they could go to the house was tomorrow morning at 8:30. OMG, PDM Plumbing Services is the absolute best! I found them on the Net and called because my Rheem Water Heater that I bought at Home Depot less than a month ago blew up. Something to do with the delayed ignition which caused an explosion and blue flame at the Vent. This was the 2nd time this happened within the last 45 days. It happened with the first Rheem that I bought at Home Depot and they exchanged it for another and then it happened with the latest Rheem. So I called PDM Plumbing and they came out right away and looked at the situation and then came back the next day and installed a BRADFORD WHITE Water Heater and their installation job was very clean. They had to replace several things. the Technicians that did the work from PDM Plumbing were Gil and Phil. They were outstanding and when they were finished everything was cleaned up spic and span.
