Nick is a South Bay Area gem. He is a remembrance of time gone by...those originally from this special area (South Bay) remember when work was done with people who felt like your neighbor!?! That's Nick. He went above and beyond for us in so many ways...he even requested to come to the store with my other half to make sure the selection would work after a 2 hour job turned into a late night 6 hour job. This guy is the real deal. He's a talented plumber who at the end of the day doesn't make you feel like it's a corporate exchange. Kind to me, our dogs, and our pocket book. I almost don't want to recommend him so he is available to us anytime. read more

Nick Cortez is simply amazing! He gave 30 minutes ETA. Very professional, knowledgeable, overall friendly and beautiful person. Finished the job quickly, and gave professional advice on other plumbing issue. Overall we are more than satisfied with his great service. If I could give 10 starts I would. read more

These guys are true gentlemen. I called at 6pm with a broken water heater and crying babies and husband gone at work and ... and... freaking out. They stopped by and diagnosed the issue, made some knowledgeable recommendations, and generally calmed me down. They said they could come the next afternoon and replace my water heater for $1400. It turned out I found a lower quote from a friend of a friend who could come much earlier, so I called and offered to pay 911 Plumbing for the time they took to visit the evening before. Get this: They wouldn't take my money. Good men. Of course, this review is probably worth more than the money they would have charged, anyhow. If you have a problem with your plumbing, I'd trust these guys to fix it and not rip you off. read more

The Short: Nick from Plumbing 911 is the nicest, most honest and professional plumber! I would highly recommend his work. Called Plumbing 911 to get a second opinion about low hot water flow my kitchen faucet. Previous plumber said that the water heater and piping was full of calcium build up and I needed to replace both the water heater and the piping to the kitchen for $1450. I had already spoken to several plumbers over the phone to get secondary estimates and none of them questioned the diagnosis of the first plumber who said I needed a new water heater and piping. After speaking to Nick on the phone for just two minutes he said that he doubted the water heater needed to be replaced and that the problem was probably in my faucet. It was the end of the day and Nick was at my house within an hour of speaking with him (6pm), within 20 minutes Nick had my faucet disassembled and cleaned, low and behold there was a small piece of rubber washer that had come loose somewhere and lodged itself in the faucet valve. Nick was in and out within an hour and only charged me his $125 service fee, saving me $1325 from what the other guys wanted to do! Thank you Nick! read more

Our kitchen sink backed up in the evening and we were scrambling to find someone to fix the issue that same evening. I called a few places and no one was able to help, until I got a hold of Nick. Nick was getting ready to go home for the evening, but he could tell how badly we needed to get things fixed, and so he agreed to drive over (40 min drive) and make the needed repairs. He was incredibly professional and nice. Our pipes ended up having to be replaced too and Nick went to Home Depot so he could finish the repairs that same evening. We were really happy with his services and would highly recommend him. read more

Had a seemingly impossible plug in my main sewer and got some quotes that were outrageous and incorrect diagnostics which cost me a load of unnecessary $$$...called plumbing 911 and Nick saved us. Don't go with anyone but Nick. Very professional and had it worked out within an hour. This was a 2 day nightmare until I called em. read more

Had a plumbing emergency over the holidays and the guys came out and fixed the problem right away. I have some additional work that needs fixing and today they came out and fixed the outdoor pipes. They were wonderful! I will be calling them to for any plumbing issues that may come up (I really hope I don't see them soon) Great service & very prompt! read more

Very nice and professional. I called at 9:30 this morning and by 10:30 they were at my house to fix my leaking shower. They got the part and quickly fixed it at a reasonable price. It wasn't a tough fix, but I will remember the way they treated me and will recommend them to my friends. read more

Plumbing 911 - Plumbing Near Me

Called Plumbing 911 the day after Halloween with an emergency toilet overfill situation. Bart and team were able to come out to my residence that afternoon - right on time. They were able to diagnose and solve our plumbing situation speedily. I recommend them 100% - great experience - fair pricing. read more

Had a great experience with Nick. He came on a Saturday, was totally honest, charged me a fair rate and fixed my clogged drain. This guy was a total winner and I was glad to work with him, as opposed to some big company that over charged me for "radio dispatch". Glad to see guys like him are still around. read more

It was 6pm on a Friday, my wife and I had just got back from the hospital with our new baby, and the main line to our house blocks up so none of the toilets work. After calling a bunch of plumbers from Yelp and getting "We can't come out tonight, it will have to wait until next week" I gave Plumbing 911 a call. Two things impressed me straight away: they quoted a price without me even asking (and it was quite reasonable) and they were able to come out within the hour. They showed up as promised, fixed the problem, and then charged me exactly the amount quoted! I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended. read more

I experienced terrible customer service from Plumbing 911 this past week when a water pipe burst outside our house. I chose this company because of all their 5-star Yelp reviews. So I called Bart on Wed. evening and he said that he would come out the following day between 8 and 10 am., and that he would try to make it out on the earlier side since it was an emergency (we had to shut off the main water line). I called on Thurs. morning at 8:30 and asked for an updated ETA, and he said he'd arrive in about an hour. Soon afterwards I had to leave for work, but my mom continued to wait for him. Since he didn't show up by 10:30am, she called him and this is what Bart told her: - he had lost our phone number and address, so couldn't contact us - in any case, he couldn't make it to our house that day after all, and that it would have to wait until the following day - he 'was happy' when my mom said that she may have to go with another plumber since this was an emergency... no apologies at all from him! Apparently Bart found a new job to take care of that day, and we got sidelined. Maybe he does a great job at what he does, but I find this level of unprofessionalism unacceptable. I would discourage anyone from choosing Plumbing 911 in an emergency situation like ours. read more

An awesome plumber. Nick is everything you want; honest, fair, responsive, knowledgeable, and to top it all off he's a really nice guy. This is a guy you'll be very comfortable having in your home. My dog even loves him. Hire him. He's more than worth every penny. read more

I had an overflowing toilet and called Plumbing 911. They were out right away and cleared my toilet using some kind of hand snake thing. The price was very reasonable and they gave me some tips on how to prevent a clog in the future. I will use Plumbing 911 again. read more

Nick has done previous work at my house before. The first time which was at least 5 years ago we had a sink in one of our bathrooms that needed to be hooked up, another time about a year ago we needed the shower knob replaced and most recently our water heater needed to be replaced. What I like about Nick is he always comes out to see what needs to be done, informs us & then comes back the next day to get the job done. He is very quick, efficient and most importantly honest. We got other quotes from other plumbing companies regarding the water heater and they were at least $100 to $300 dollars more than what Nick quoted us. We never have had any issues with the work he has done. He is definitely my go to guy when I need any plumbing work done. read more

I started my Saturday morning off with the dreaded "glug, glug" sound coming from the toilet as the washing machine drained, indicating that the old main line was plugged up again. I called Plumbing 911 hoping that it wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg to have them help me on the weekend. They did a FANTASTIC job. They arrived early and cleared the line, all at a very reasonable fee (with no weekend surcharges, etc.). I recommend them highly! read more

Nick is so nice and professional. He fixed my toilet super fast and it is working better then it ever has!!! For now on, I will be calling him for all my plumbing needs. He is a diamond in the rough. read more

For me, Nick did not work out. It was a small job and I could understand if he did not want to take it. But to make and break appointments and not follow up on commitments is a waste of time for all. This was my second time to request help from Nick and both times a 1 star experience. read more

I have used Nick and Bart's plumbing services twice now for an apartment complex. They have superb customer service, they arrive when they say they will, work quickly, and have reasonable prices. Without a doubt, I will continue to call them and recommend their services for home or commercial services. read more

We recently had water damage in our bathroom and we needed a plumber to come out to identify the cause of the leak before we could process our insurance claim. All the other plumbers we called asked for "trip fees" and minimum charges before even seeing anything. And they all wanted 2-3 hour "window" for appointments. I called Plumbing 911 and Bart said that he was in the area and will stop by within the hour. He was true to his word, came in 40 minutes, spent 5 minutes to inspect and then talked to the adjuster (who was evaluating just then). When I asked him for his charges he said it was a simple diagnosis and he was in the area anyway, so no charge! Wow! The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because we didnt use his services as there were a lot of things we needed to do through our insurance, but if I ever needed plumbing services, I will call Plumbing 911 first. read more

Been using them for years! Honest, reliable, and great people. Highly recommend them for all your plumbing jobs.

My toilet overflowed and I called Plumbing 911 due to a positive review from a neighbor. I left a message and received a call back within 15 minutes. They came out when they said they would, fixed the problem, and charged me a reasonable price. Very professional, courteous and prompt. Bart also gave me so quotes/estimates for some future work that will need to be done so I will call him when that time comes. Highly recommended! read more

The guy who came to help us last night was named Vic. Totally kind, helpful and chill. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Nick is the plumber I would recommend to anyone in his service area. He gave me a quote that was competitively priced with other plumbers, and he was available to complete the job the next day. I decided to choose Nick for the job because he communicated the issues clearly and explained my options for fixing them. I had a leak under my shower into the crawl space and Nick did a great job fixing it. I had to leave my home before Nick was done working, and he was trustworthy and locked the door on his way out. read more

Plumbing 911 is great. Being a two man shop, they keep their costs down yet have the equipment of larger companies. They came out to my house on a Friday night and snaked a drain that was clogged for a reasonable fee. Knowledgeable and licensed, I won't hesitate to call them the next time I need a plumber or the sewer line snaked. read more

Came promptly to help fix a clogged sewer line and were very courteous and helpful

When I called, they answered the phone! It wasn't an emergency, so we set up an appointment, which was kept. Bart showed up on time and the problem was worse than I thought. Bart stuck with it and fixed it all. So very grateful. Prompt, reliable service. read more

I've been incredibly pleased with the work Bart & Nick have done. I got in touch with them via a contractor to have a small bit of work done, which wound up escalating to significant work to replace our entire water line from the street (due to age of the existing pipe). They worked quickly and very hard, communicated status updates regularly, and have come back to ensure that everything is working and make a few adjustments elsewhere around our house. I'm definitely keeping them as my go-to plumbers! read more

Bart and Nick did a great job analyzing and fixing a slow drainage problem I have been having. They were thorough with their investigating and careful to confirm the problem had been fixed prior to departing. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others as well. read more

These guys were fantastic - Greg and Vic. They located 3 separate problems and took care of them on the spot. I highly recommend Plumbing 911. read more

I called on Friday and Nick came out on Monday. I had a bathroom faucet that was leaking. Nick did not have an Allen Wrench small enough to loosen the faucet, so I gave him my little sewing machine screwdriver and he was able to get the faucet handle off. After looking at it he said it needed a new cartridge but that it was so old (10 years) that it was all one piece and I needed to replace the whole faucet. That also meant I would need to replace all the faucets. He left and I asked him if he could get the right size Allen wrench and I would pay him for it as I needed to tighten the tub faucet and I would think about replacing the fixtures. He did bring back my little screw and a new Allen wrench and I paid him. But then I decided to go to the Plumbing Store at Camden and Lis Gatos blvd, to confirm that my faucet cartridge was not replaceable. Anthony told me he could get the part. I had taken photos of my faucet. The part came, I installed it by myself and it works fine. Point being I think Nick just wanted to sell me a whole new set of bathroom fixtures, because he said the cartridge was not replaceable. Anyway the part cost $30. Now I know how to fix it myself........ read more
