He arrived promptly around the times I was told by text message in the morning beforehand. Hero Plumbing replaced a broken spigot and added an additional spigot to our back yard, which had none. Although I had another estimate that was slightly less, I went with Hero because they listened to my description of what I needed and came up with a workable solution for the back yard (since I only need the back spigot during summer they were able to perform a less costly installation off my existing sprinkler supply pipe rather than run a new line through the house). Michael also pointed out there were leaves in the wall near where the leaking spigot was replaced. This helped me figure out that there was a hole in the wall near the spigot, hidden behind my electrical conduit, which is what let cold air in to damage my freeze resistant spigot. The new spigot is a high quality freeze resistant style as well, but I'll get the hole filled in before cold weather comes back. I'm happy that the work done was done in a timely manner and was tested thoroughly afterward. There was a small leak due to a defective part in the added spigot, but Michael was able to get a new part quickly and rebuild the new section of piping. Now everything is working great.

Matthew A gently explained where I messed up, and where his experience makes the difference. After he was done he explained how he did the install, and I am very happy with his work. Plus he warranties his work for a year, which is nice piece of mind.

The two installers showed up also on time and were quick and efficient. Even though they it wasn't part of the quote, they mounted the charger for me, and also installed the load management device into the panel (which was part of it). In the end, everyone else told me I had to get a new panel for $6k, and Austin and his team came up with a more affordable options and did an amazing job with installation. No surprises on the final price either.

I have no reservations in recommending this company. -------------------- I really wanted to give Just In Time a five-star review, because I genuinely think the issue I ran into was an honest mistake. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with how they handled that mistake. First, the good: I hired them to install a smart EV charger. They were super friendly, responsive, on-time, and the installation itself was fast and clean. Here's where things went sideways: they told me the job was complete, but the charger's controller--the part that actually makes it "smart"--was still sitting in the box. Without that piece installed, the whole point of the smart charger is lost. The technicians put me on the phone with the boss, who told me installing the rest of the components would be an additional $165. I was awfully annoyed, but I didn't really have any choice at that point. My issue is simple: I was clear from the beginning about the exact charger I needed installed. I showed the estimator the box and confirmed that their quote covered installing and integrating the smart charger. Some people might call this a bait-and-switch, but I don't think that's what happened. I think they either misunderstood the charger when quoting or were just moving too fast. An honest mistake. But the "solution" was to charge me $165 more for something that took them less than fifteen minutes. They had an opportunity to either (A) complete the scope they quoted, or (B) at least try to work with me on the added fee. Instead, I got a shrug and a "take it or leave it."

I've worked with the fine people at High 5 HVAC for several years now, and my experience has been…read moreconsistently great. Unlike so many other such companies, High 5 people have been not just highly competent but clearly motivated to turn a single customer with an unexpected problem into longtime customers. Brian Newberry was the service representative who responded to my most recent request for an inspection of my furnace and heating system. For years I'd been considering a whole- house humidifier. When I raised the question with Brian - and as has been my experience every single time with these folks - he thought things through, inspected and explained to me all the possibilities, including simply continuing to use small room-sized humidifiers, and then put together a proposal without trying to upsell a single component. This is one of the best things about High 5 in contrast to their competitors. I've had a boatload of simply asking about which air filters to use in a furnace, for example, a $15 question, which others use as a springboard to try to sell me a $20K new upgraded system which I neither need nor want. A hallmark of my experience with High 5 is that they listen carefully and honestly reflect the simplest and most direct option to handle whatever my direct question has been. As a result, they have left it up to me to ask for other, more expensive options if I want that information, but have never engaged in the constant upselling I've encountered with other HVAC companies. Ethical practices like this come from the top, and the fact that I've had a half-dozen experiences with these guys, and consistently find them to offer me the kind of information and choices which they would consider for their own homes and budget have built trust in their ultimate recommendations. Highest recommendation!

It hadn't been replaced in 5 years. They also said there was a carbon monoxide leak and they turned off the gas. They said it would cost $5689.95 to repair it or $8000.00 to replace it. I called my neighbor who had an excellent referral for me. After several tests it passed with flying colors. Second opinion: $245.00 Scam averted: $$$$$ savings in my pocket I've had my air conditioner replaced by High Five two years ago and my hot water heater replaced in February. Confidence and trust shattered. There is no repair or replacement for that.

I asked to have a repairmen sent out, thinking it would be the next day. She asked a few questions about the HVAC system, age, etc. and said, "We can't get anyone out there today but we can probably fix the problem over the phone." After assuring me that if we couldn't, she would send someone the next morning, she spent over half an hour walking me through a few checks and procedures and we got the system up and running. So something I thought was going to cost a few hundred dollars or more, cost me nothing, because she wanted to save us a very cold night and the possibility of pipes freezing. Wow! A company that shows incredible integrity and professionalism, and really seems to care about the people they serve! This was the first time I'd called Davey, but their number is now in my phone and will be my first call in the future. Thank you, Dorothy!!!

We had a water leak in my twelve year old 96% efficient Amana furnace and I placed a call to Davey. Dorothy was very courteous sent out her son Junior to look at what was going on. He told me he was going to condemn my furnace though there was no signs of aerial contamination. I told him I'll go out and buy two expensive meters and they both showed ZERO contamination! Ok, Junior then said the furnace would be covered under replacement warranty as the heat exchanger was cracked. He talked to the local dispatcher and they had a unit in stock. I was then told by Junior that it would cost me THIRTY FIVE HUNDRED to get the job done. I was flabbergasted at the price! This was for labor! Unbelievable! Ok it was winter and cold temps needed to be handled so I told him let's do it. Junior returned and started installing all the while informing me that it would cost me another EIGHT HUNDRED! I told him no way! Mind you, my old unit was removed and brought downtown. He called his office and they backed off on the additional eight hundred. I left Junior alone and he put together the new furnace and installed it! It was not straight, not plumbed and he left after the furnace was running. I called Dorothy and COMPLAINED! She sent Senior out and he straightened things out. The inspector came by and failed the inspection. Senior came out again and touched up all the work. Senior had to come by a third time to rewire the condensate pump... to code! That final time he came, I could tell he was PO'ed at returning and never said a darn word to me. No respect at all! Bottom line, I was ripped off to high heaven. Thirty five hundred... for the work done? Maybe they get this from other uneducated customers but the unit was under warranty, the whole installation with labor should have cost me $2000 at MOST! I found an unbelievably reputable HVAC and they have so far treated me with respect and professionalism especially when it comes to pricing and top notch customer service. Just had to share this with potential customers here in the area.
