If there was a an option of giving no stars I would have!  This is a joke of a company. I was assigned them through American Home Shield as part of my home owners warranty. Would have never chosen them myself given the tremendous amount of negative reviews. Was told it would take up to two weeks to get a new hot water heater which is ridiculous. Was only able to talk to the receptionist who answers the phone, never the technician or owner. The quote they gave me was outrageously high plus it would take two weeks to do the job. When I opted to take the "cash out" option with American Home Shield (which would be basically the price of the water heater) and use another company, Plumb Genius told American Home Shield the cost of the water heater was $250 even though the total quote they provided for the job was $1,600. This was the "plumb genius discount" lol. Never use this company they are crooks. I had 3 other companies look at the quote they put together and they all said it didn't make sense and was way too high. Ended up getting job done for half of what Plumb Genius was quoting. read more

Plumb genius was sent out by our home warranty people. Not my choice. Our water heater was making a funny noise so we needed to have it serviced. "Ray" yanked on a rusted pipe that corroded to the bottom of the drainage pan. He quoted a ridiculously high price to replace the unit and said there would be no leaking until we decided to fix it. The next morning there was water in my living room because he yanked the corroded part of the pipe off of the bottom of the pan, leaving a hole. When I called to get him to fix it he denied and refused, then hung up on me. The receptionist Michelle was also very rude. Do not do business with this company! read more

I have had Plumb Genius out twice (via American Home Shield). Both times they have been very professional, knowledgeable and even when it wasn't their issue on the second trip-they steered me in the right direction and did what it took to make sure the diagnosis was correct. I will use them again even outside of warranty service!!! read more

Bad experience. They came to replace a hot water heater and although they did install the hot water heater as requested, they showed up over 3 hours late to do so. Also, after they got done, the water in some of my faucets was milky looking. One of the technicians (Mike Bowling) who came out to follow up smelled like smoke and was lazy and didn't even try to figure out what the problem was. The second technician, Danny Bills, admitted that Mike did not offer good customer service. Danny atleast checked out the problem and explained what it could be, but was not able to fix the problem. Overall, them showing up late and the poor customer service given and the milky water issue that was not present before they installed the hot water heater left a bad taste in my mouth. Dealt with them through American Home Shield (in Oklahoma City). Not a good experience and didn't even offer a discount for my trouble. Definitely would not recommend this company. read more

I am a typical homeowner, Plumb Genius was the subcontractor replacing a section of sewer line on behalf of a home warranty company. The day they were to arrive, I fell off a ladder and broke my back and had a bad concussion....so I never got to monitor their work or sign off as I was in the hospital all day. 3 weeks after the job was done, they told I owed $700 for a forklift rental we needed to do the job. Owner Mike had given me a verbal quote of $300 prior to the job, I agreed. I complained about the difference, and their owner went on a HUGE rant and was very threatening to me on the phone. I only kept reiterating in a calm voice that I agreed to pay $300 and he just screamed at me to pay $700......and they had never even sent me a bill. Well I paid it, not much I can do to fight it. Shocking call from their president, but oh well. Went out today to turn on the sprinkler system in the front yard, found that they ripped out several sprinkler lines, left broken sprinkler heads buried in the dirt, and left me with broken lines throughout the yard and no way to know what's damaged without digging it all up by hand. They did dig up the sewer line and replace 15 feet of it. But they also tore up 2 of our oak trees by ripping the limbs with the backhoe (would have been simple to saw before they started??), didn't even bring a ladder to the work site, left broken sprinkler piping laying in the yard, charged me more than twice agreed upon amount for forklift, and the president of the company yelled at me on the phone for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. I nearly called the police and filed a report as he was so threatening towards me on the phone. Had he shown up at my door like he threatened he would on the phone, I would have called the police to remove him. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you must use them, get all verbal quotes in writing, especially from the president Mike, and oversee their work if they did in your yard as they will destroy your sprinkler systems. If your home warranty company can send a different contractor, you would be very wise to request that. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had to use this company because of our warranty. The units guy who showed up looked at the whole thing for 2 seconds and told me it was going to be about $1600 to get things back up to code. We scheduled the repairs on their schedule, and they cancelled. The second appointment they called and cancelled as well. When they finally made it they did half the work and didn't tell us that was their goal. I received a call a few weeks later saying it "failed inspection" and a supervisor needed to come back out and fix it again. The "supervisor" was the same person who installed everything to begin with. He allegedly fixed everything, but didn't even tell us he was finished. He just left. Didn't say a thing to us. Left our garage door open and just vanished. I still don't know if everything is installed properly or if it is safe to use. I'm probably going to cancel my home warranty over this company. read more

Danny was phenomenal very courteous and professional service was fast I would definitely recusing this company I had a wonderful experience

Amazing every single time. They've replaced the main line in my personal home, and have always done great for minor fixes in my rentals. They've even stayed late to make sure I didn't have to wait over the weekend. read more

My plumber, Jerred Tipton, was amazing and had everything fixed in 2 hours but the experience I had with the first guy they sent, who c/o back pain and stated he couldn't work, and the scheduling issues with the office were ridiculous. It a shame such a good plumber works for a not so great company. read more

Plumb Genius is a dishonest company. AHS sent these uprofessional, unethical plumbers to fix a water leak from a kitchen faucet; the tech who showed up looked at it for a couple seconds and told my wife the work would no be covered by the warranty. The estimate to replace the faucet was $760; AHS stated that the plumber didn't recorded the findings and that was the reason why they could not approve/denied the repairs. After multiple phone calls to AHS, another plumber from Plumb Genius was send out; the guy was rude and highly unprofessional, he spent more time on the phone that working on the faucet, he left the house without telling my wife if he was coming back or not. When I called AHS to get an updated, I was told that the plumber found out that the faucet was not "propertly installed" and that's way they denied the repairs. I called Plumb Genius to get more details about their diagnostic, but the recepcionist was so rude that I was unable to "talk" to her. Do not use this company! read more

Plumb Dumb more like it! They were hired to do work at my house through American Home Shield. They ended up charging me for 2 service calls when I only made one, and they broke my garbage disposal. I had to give them a second chance to fix what they broke, but it still sounds horrible and they blamed it on electrical even though it was just fine before they touched it. The man they had come was rude and highly unprofessional, making personal calls when he was supposed to be working. He essentially refused to answer any questions I had about what he was doing and how to properly care for the item he was installing. Avoid at all costs! read more

Calvin came out and replaced a toilet for us. He was quiet, efficient and did a great job. I was really impressed because he left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. I would definitely use them again. read more

Rated a three because the initial call to come out did not do the slab leak locate, it was a conversation about why I thought the house had the leak, even though it had already been confirmed by other means. My initial call to the office about the leak no mention was made that it would take a second appointment to begin fixing anything. Eight days later a second appointment located the slab leak and did the repair. The guys were clean, courteous and surprisingly quiet, which I greatly appreciated. In particular, Mr. Jerred Tipton went above and beyond to answer my questions, made sure everything was in working order prior to the crew's departure, and even vacuumed so I wasn't left with a big mess. If the star rating were based on Jerred alone, it would have been a 5. read more

This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had and the only reason they were provided 1 star is because 0 stars was not an option. I scheduled an appointment and they didn't show. After waiting for 2 hours, I called and was told, "we don't feel comfortable doing the job" for a water heater replacement. I waited a week after their plumber came by to assess the water heater to be told they didn't feel comfortable! They never bothered to call me, so I wasted a week and lost time and money waiting on them. Not to mention, when I called them rather than the manager answering my questions, he hung on me. Additionally, the quote was extremely overpriced. Home Depot did the install for $500 cheaper and did the installation on the same day. Unprofessional, substandard service doesn't even begin to describe this company. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. By the way, I have asked American Home Shield to revoke their contract for such poor service. So if you use AHS, ask for a different company...you will be glad you did. read more

I wish there was a an option of giving no stars!! My home owners warranty that I pay for assigned me to Plumb Genius for a blockage in my main bathroom. After the first technician couldn't get his snake pass a certain point he told my husband and I there was something going on under the house and set up to have a camera run. Fast forward, the tech comes out to run the camera gives some story about the sewer line concrete has caved in along with a 1600$ quote for work NOT covered by the warranty but advised us to get other quotes on the job. What he didn't do was record his findings so the other plumbers coming to quote could see what he says he saw. He also didn't mark the the area or the main lines in the yard because according to the very rude receptionist he only does that if they're people are doing this over priced job. Her suggestion is that I pay the other Plummer who they suggested I get a quote from to run his own camera, after they've already been paid in full to do an incomplete job. Without any recording I don't believe he actually ran the camera since the 2 main things that would support his findings i.e. Marking the yard and RECORDING the footage weren't done. All 3 of the other plumbers that I've tried to get quotes from all say what was typed up as the recommendation doesn't make sense l guess It's only supposed to make sense if I'm willing to pay 1600! If you're reffered to this company RUN!!!! Especially if it's through your home warranty! They're all teamed up together to rip you off! read more

Have nothing but great things to say about my experience ,first off out of list of service companies I contacted after 2 failed attempts Plumb genius actually called me back and had me on schedule immediately. I have had 2 appts in the last 2 weeks Skyler was Great and had me fixed up ,I followed up to have my tankless unit basic service and again am very pleased ! read more

This company sent me another text at 12:08 that they are on their way to my house. They never showed nor called me. Three days later they send another text saying they are on their way to my house to repair my sink. They said they showed up and called me, but I explained we were out of town now. They say they are going to charge me. When in the heck is a customer suppose to know when you are coming and when you are not? I have never seen a company operate like this . Worst plumbing company in Edmond area by far. Will never use again. read more

Really need to research these guys before you let them work on anything. Bad reviews everywhere. No idea how they have an A+ rating with the BBB. They have 25% positive and 75% negative reviews on the BBB and somehow that is an A+ rating? Really makes me question the BBB. read more

I have had them out twice now. Last time it ended with the two employees getting in a swearing contest in my backyard and one walking off screaming, and the other forgot to fix the bathroom(had to call another plumber to come in and fix the leak in the bathroom.) This time they said that they tried to call me to schedule a service. They said they left messages...but I never received a call nor had any messages. Not sure who they called, but was told that I had missed the calls and would have to wait a couple days to get serviced now. That's a full week from when I first called. Will request that AHS doesn't assign them to me again for any of my next repairs. read more
