One of the things I really appreciate is that his office functions as both a primary care practice and an urgent care clinic. That means I've been able to get bloodwork, X-rays, labs, and even minor procedures done all in one place. His staff is always on the ball -- responsive, organized, and attentive. I've seen Dr. Moran for everything from routine physicals to minor surgical procedures to pre-op surgery clearances, and I've always had a great experience. As an internist, he's a great resource for managing overall health, and I really trust his judgment and care

When I finally contacted his office to find out what to do next, I was told they had not received the results because "the labs are slow right now." Love Dr Traci Williams but PRIMARY MEDICAL is UP CHARGING us for our yearly wellness physicals…read more(fully covered by Aetna Medicare PPO) AND included charges for an additional office visit. Billing dept mgr and scribe says my spouse has low back pain. He takes an occasional Advil after riding over 40 miles on his bicycle and up in the mountains at 76 yr old. Dr Williams asked me if I took calcium/D3. I have NEVER been D3 deficient and started taking calcium with D3 in it in when 50 years old as Dexa scan said a bit of osteopenia which has changed little in 25 years. We simply answered Dr Williams questions and I asked her to check my husband's hearing. The scribe and Billing Mgr will write in anything they can (true or not) to charge you extra! It was all routine exam, eyes, ear, throat heart, lung, and breast exam for me. No internal exams. We will be changing doctors asap and refuse to pay extra fees for routine exams and to answer questions. We are healthy, exercise, eat right, and NOT overweight. We reported them to Aetna FRAUD dept! I notified Dr Williams. She will be retiring in 2 years she told me. AVOID THIS GROUP with offices located in Ventura and Oxnard. This is the first time they started UPCHARGING despite going there for several years for our physicals/wellness visit!

I've gone to this clinic for over 10 years. Overall the experience has been worthwhile, insightful,…read moretimely. During the first 10 months, it felt like a revolving door, as each doctor I had an encounter with abruptly exited to work elsewhere. Fast forward to 2026: I've had the same primary care physician (a D.O.) for over 9 years. This D.O. pays attention--doesn't habitually deflect and bypass or interrupt. But getting on the calendar for a follow-up to test results or other scheduling is even harder this year than last year: months, not weeks, stuck in the queue. That 'business model' may be typical for the broader medical industry in California though. I got lucky in 2023 with the new Physician's Assistant available on short-notice for requisite per-surgical screening. The staff support team seems solid at this clinic and I'm glad this convenient neighborhood location has not relocated, as I can even walk or bicycle to get there. Recently, I was able to get a recommended blood panel started there. Thus, no need for a separate trip to CMH hospital or Quest or another lab site. Kudos.
