Dr. Arnold took care of my routine medical needs and genuinely seems to care about his patient needs. He takes his time to explain your medical results and is always very positive when doing so. read more

I'm very unhappy with this doctor's staff. I was able to review my bloodwork online and waited several weeks to be notified of the results since some were outside of normal limits. When I finally contacted his office to find out what to do next, I was told they had not received the results because "the labs are slow right now." I informed them I was able to view my results several weeks ago and didn't understand why the office could not. Her reply was "I don't know"; she said good bye and hung up. read more

I'm so pleased with the care I get from Dr Arnold. He's a nice man and very professional, he listens to me, which not all doctors do. I've found his office staff and assistants to be very helpful and nice. Whether it's a visit or phone call, I'm happy with the care and help I get from them. I absolutely recommend Dr Arnold, he was recommended to me and I'm very happy it's worked out so well. read more

Dr. Arnold is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to listen to you and then to go over everything .Both myself and my adult children also go to him. his thorough examinations have actually saved a life in my family. I believe five stars doesn't even come close to what I would give him. read more

I'm over 50 and needed to find a doctor who would be as concerned about my health as my own parents would be, and it was a real search, let me tell you. I've been through a lot of doctors over a half century of doing things the hard way. But I found him. You found him. It's Dr. Christopher Arnold. Let me tell you about my experience with the good doctor. First, his staff was incredibly friendly right when I walked in, which was a nice change from my previous doctor's office. When I first met him, I told him my family medical history, and being honest with him that I was searching for a doctor who would actually take a moment to listen to me and not make me feel like I'm in the way of the next appointment. Dr. Arnold just smiled and said "I will make sure you know your health is my top priority" So here we are, almost a year later, and I'm the healthiest I've been in 25 years. I'm no longer pre-diabetic, no longer overweight (no, not on Ozempic), the list goes on. He's top tier, and I literally stopped getting ready for dinner to stop and tell everyone this. Be well! read more

I was a patient of Dr. Arnold's several years ago. I was quite happy with the doctor, but when I sent him a letter complaining about his receptionist, he sent me a letter firing me! Instead of calling me to discuss the situation, he chose to terminate our relationship. Beware! If you complain, you're out. No discussion. read more

This is a DOCTOR who is caring thoughtful, kind and will be with you when you are in need. Dr. Arnold, thank you for being my doctor and who cares about my well-being. I feel honored and blessed to have you as my doctor. Thank you. read more

I am applaud at the office staff. They are rude, they do not seem to understand how a medical office is to be operated, they appear confused, and they do not answer calls nor do they return calls. I had a very important matter concerning my mother, and it took me several calls (many unanswered) for the front desk to understand how to process an insurance claim for additional testing being requested from the doctor. Many days went by and it ends up that what could have been accomplished with one phone call, turned into several visits with specialist to determine that my mother was critical and needed extensive care. read more

I've only heard great things about Dr. Arnold. My mom sees him and he's so patient with her despite the language barrier. He also calls me and my sister once he receives test results and calmly walks them through with us. I once asked him a personal medical question over the phone and he was so helpful even without an appointment. I love doctors who are in the field to help and not to just make a profit. A friend of mine talks about how responsive Dr Arnold is. Sometimes Dr Arnold will respond at 5 am to emails. He's so dedicated and truly cares about his patients. I went to him many years ago for a physical when I was in high school. His bedside manner has always been amazing read more

Unfortunately Dr. Arnold gets a bad review because of his front office. First time I called, I selected the option to make a new patient appointment. It starts to play it's recording and then someone picks up and immediately puts me on hold. I was on hold for over 5 mins. Then when I finally helped, they ask my insurance and ask if it's an HMO or PPO. Front desk was not helpful, had a tone with me and said she can't help me if I'm HMO until my new insurance cards have Dr. Arnold's name on it. I called my insurance to get his name on my card--which they said I didn't need. Called Dr. Arnold's office again...Deja vu. Another rude receptionist. Very unwilling to help & get scheduled. Adamantly refused since she assumed I had HMO. I just thanked her and hung up. Lots of other doctors out there that's willing to help. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Arnold's for about 15 years and there is no other doctor or doctor's office staff like his - their communication with and accommodation for patients is truly exceptional. I have sent the doctor portal messages on multiple occasions and each time he responded within minutes by phone if it is about a current illness or symptoms I was having I'm or within 24 hours if about getting a referral or refill. If you like excellent, caring and responsive doctors and office I highly recommend Dr Arnold and his staff for your primary care physician. read more

Update: June 3, 2021 Since I have already written a review, I can only add to the previous one. This review is for Dr. Arnold's staff. Once again, I am surprised that others say they've had any issues with the staff at this practice. My husband has been scheduled for a CT at the request of Dr. Arnold's office. It started three weeks ago and the radiology facility continues to have problems with insurance authorization. They have it, they don't have it, they have it, they don't have it. Today the facility called to cancel and reschedule for third time. Even though they said they have the authorization from insurance, they said they aren't clear regarding what the doctor actually wants done (???) I called Dr. Arnold's office and spoke with Erica. Even though our predicament has nothing to do with an error on the office's part, she volunteered to resend the CT order (again) with a copy of Dr. Arnold's notes so the facility would know exactly what is being requested. We are still waiting to see if the facility can use the most recent paperwork to allow us to keep the appointment for tomorrow. If it has to be postponed again, Dr. Arnold's office has gone above and beyond to try to help remedy our situation. read more

I have been seeing Doctor Arnold ever since he opened his office somewhere close to ten years ago. He is a very positive and knowledgeable doctor. When he sees you, you are a human more than you are a patient (if that makes sense). I hope to have him for the duration of my life if that is at all possible. In regards to his office staff. A couple have been there since Doctor Arnold opened. They are courteous and professional. The communication is outstanding as they are always answering the phone and returning calls promptly. I expect that you will get the same experience I have received. read more

To put it simply, they don't come any better than Dr. Arnold. From his extensive medical knowledge to his caring "bedside manner", he makes you feel like family. His patience and gentle lifestyle suggestions show that he truly is concerned about the whole picture in addition to any particular ailments. He has even taken the time to call from home with test results. Southern California is fortunate to have Dr. Arnold! read more

I love Dr. Arnold. He is an amazing Doctor. I love how he takes his time to talk to you and never rushes. He has amazing bed side manners and I'm so glad I was referred to him by my former Gyn back in 2019 when I moved to Camarillo. I found my forever Doctor. He makes you feel important and listens. It's like talking to a family member with him. He even calls you personally to go over your blood work. I highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Arnold has been my G.P. for over 10 years. In that time, Dr. Arnold has been a wonderful doctor. He is kind and patient, and very knowledgeable. I have found his staff to be friendly, and efficient. The only downside to his practice is that he is so popular, making him too busy to get patients in the same day, say for colds/flu, etc. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

I don't know how long it's been since these reviews regarding his office staff, but I found them to be very pleasant and helpful and super nice. I had no issues when making my apt. Nor did I have any issues or attitude when I arrived at my apt. Dr. Arnold was a pleasure to meet and I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy him as my physician. He listens, he's patient, he makes sure he's addressed all your concerns. Couldn't be happier with my decision. read more

Dr Arnold is the most amazing Dr. First of all, he listens. I will tell him what is going in and he will hear me out carefully. He remembers my family, all of our names and how we are doing. He'll take the time to go over things, what is and isn't going on. What could and probably isn't wrong. His prices are very fair and when I didn't have insurance I found his pricing to be extremely fair. Reading the other reviews on here, it is understandable that people get frustrated with front staff and that seems to be very common, but they've always been great to me and in my opinion their role is difficult as they are in a position to protect privacy and handle one of people's most important aspects if life: health. I would highly recommend Dr Arnold. He is one of the most generous, competent and friendly Dr's I have ever been to! read more

I needed a new doctor and after reading reviews on ratemds.com and vitals.com I picked Dr. Arnold. many of the reviews complained about the office staftt, but my experience was pleasant. They were friendly, helpful, and smiled a lot. As for Dr. Arnold, nothing short of outstanding. No rush, lots of questions about my medical history and my personal life. I felt like I had a friend after once visit. I highly recommend Dr. Arnold!!!! read more

Dr Arnold has been my doctor for the past 3 years. Dr Arnold is excellent in his fields of medicine. He also has very good bed side manor and listens very carefully to what I say and treats it accordingly. I highly recommend Dr Arnold for all medial conditions. read more

I finally found a doctor who takes his time and cares about your health. He is the best doctor that I have ever been seen by. He cares about his patients. read more

I totally agree with the other patients that have complained about the office staff. Whoever answers the phone is rude and places you on hold without asking you or giving you time to talk. If you are sick, you are most likely not getting an appointment until the week after! Seriously? Most places try to squeeze you in if you are sick. Dr Arnold is absolutely not the problem. He is a good doctor. The lady who answer the phone needs training! As far as the other ladies when you are in the office, they are great! read more

I called this office because I was referred to them by my doctor who could not get me in to see him for 2 weeks. I was told that Dr. Arnold might be able to see me sooner. I called Dr. Arnolds office and explained my situation but was told that Dr. Arnold is NOT ON CALL for any of my doctors patients. What? When I asked if they were taking new patients I was told "Yes, except he was not taking any of your doctors patients"! Extremely unprofessional! read more

I would have given 5 stars if not for the office staff. If I have to listen to; "wasted away again in Margaritaville" one more time! Dr Arnold is the best doctor on all 9 planets! His staff however, is very rude. Not at all personable. When you call you are immediately put on hold. When you call in, you do not have a chance to reply before they HIT the hold button! As a patient, you deal with the office staff / back office assistant more than the doctor. Dr Arnold, I love you, but REMOVE, REPLACE, RESTORE your staff / back office assistant and you will have all 5 star reviews! read more

I really love this doctor and his staff! Dr. Arnold is a wonderful doctor and very thorough in his exams. The staff is awesome and they all work really hard. They are so accommodating, friendly, and professional and I feel comfortable every time I come in. I know that with Dr. Arnold's expertise I am in the best office with a doctor who provides me with exceptional care. read more

Dr. Arnold would be a good choice for a primary care provider if it weren't for his rude and incompetent staff. I tried to talk with him about the way I have been treated, but he refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem. I'm moving on to someone who understands the importance of customer service. read more

Dr. Arnold is the best doctor I've ever had. I've never had issues getting in for an appointment and once in the office, I've never have to wait longer than a few minutes to see him. Excellent bedside manner and empathetic - truly cares for his patients. read more

I saw a few negative reviews about his staff so I thought I would chime in. I have been seeing Dr. Arnold for over 10 years as well as the rest of my family. He is an amazing doctor and his staff have always been kind, considerate, and helpful. read more

This Doctor does not accept cash patients. It still boggles my mind why a doctor would not want someone who pays in full every single time I come in. read more

Dr. Arnold is a fantastic doctor who is sincere in making the correct diagnosis and treating the disease. He is courteous and professional, and takes the time to answer any questions, and discusses options in his treatment approach. In today's healthcare environment, it is nice to know that I am in good hands with Dr. Arnold. He is exceptional. read more

The guy is nice enough, but he hires the absolute cheapest/worst/most incompetent staff available. They are rude, do not have the wherewithal to solve even minor problems, and are basically just putting in time. Most of his staff looks to be under 20 and English is not their first language. I know times are tough, but hiring a top-rate staff will help you get patients in the end. read more

I have been a patient for almost 10 years. Dr. Arnold is amazing. He is knowledgable listens spends as much time as needed with me to address my issues. The problem is his office staff. Rude, uncaring, the hold button is their favorite phone button. I have complained before and nothing happened. I think they are worst now than ever. Yesterday, I was late to my appointment due to my error of the time. I walked in the waiting room and Alejandra was quick to remind me that I was late. I apologized and asked if Dr, Arnold can see me, she stated I will have to ask. THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE WAiTING ROOM. She comes back 10 mins later and says I have to reschedule my appt. It took me a week to get this one. All this appt needed was for Dr. Arnold to refer me to a specialist. After 10 years, I've had enough. Dr. Arnold, you know how many people I have referred to you, including my children, if you want to be successful you need a solid staff and sadly a couple of the ladies you have are not the ones to get you there. They need customer service skills, compassion, understanding. They need to leave their drama and bad attitude the minute they walk in the office door. read more

Great Doctor however the office staff is unprofessional and difficult to work with. It is impossible to get an appointment unless you can plan a week in advance which is not possible for even the most basic illness. read more

Dr. Arnold is the nicest doctor I have ever been to and he is highly competent. He smiles and takes time every time I visit. The negative reviews don't like his office staff but I can put up with rude staff if I have an amazing doctor and he is amazing. I have never had issues with the office staff other than trying to schedule my flu shot after 4. Other than that it is always an excellent experience. I went to another doctor for my ear and it didn't heal. I went to Dr. Arnold and he gave me new medication and it healed immediately. read more

I've been seen by Dr. Arnold for many years. He is without a doubt the kindest, most professional medical practitioner I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by. He not only has a compassionate manner and is incredibly knowledgeable but has personally returned my phone calls to clarify or answer any questions I may have. No ego trips or condescension that I've experienced with many other dr.s. the office staff have ALWAYS been courteous and professional and have often "squeezed me in" when I've needed it. It's a busy office run by 2-3 people, so the whining about being put briefly on hold should be taken in stride. I never wait long to be seen, and I HATE to wait when I have an appointment, it's a pet peeve with me, I'll walk after 30 minutes. On no occasion have I waited more than just a few minutes. I can truthfully say that under Dr. Arnolds care, I've conquered a medical condition that altered, and could have shortened my life. Is there a better endorsement? read more

I just changed Drs so this was my first visit as a patient. The staff were friendly and what I liked was that I didn't have to wait over an hour like my old Dr.. Dr. Arnold was very kind and took his time with anything that concerned me. I didn't feel rushed. When I went to fill my prescription I told the pharmacist what a great Dr I had just found. read more
