If you need to get your nails done in NY this is the place to go! Ive visited them multiple times as a walk in and was able to be seen right away. They provide quality service and had a huge assortment of colors, definitely a wider range of shades and brands than other salons I've been to. I wanted lavender nails to match an outfit I was wearing that evening and they added a cool chrome finish to them. There was another girl who gave me a massage as I was getting my nails done, it was excellent! Thank you!! read more

Terrible! Do not come here unless you want your nails to peel the next day. This has happened to me every single time I've gone. With Gel and normal polish. It chips, or just fully flakes off without me doing anything a day after I get them. I thought it was my own nails and I still went back. Nope! Every single time the nail polish flakes off or peels off. I got my nails done two days ago here and they're all completely chipped, flaked off just by putting my coat on! Do not waste your time here find another spot unless you want to pay for nails that last you a day. I'm not sure if they use cheap base coat or what but they need some serious fixing if they want to continue. read more

I don't go to nail salon often because I rarely receive a good result. While waiting for my friend for dinner, I spotted this nail studio, so I went inside without much expectations. The place was very clean, tidy and everyone including the owner were very friendly. I just chose the standard manicure ($17) and I was surprised with the result. My apology that I didn't not know the person who did my nails but she took her job seriously, clearly she cared so much and made sure that the result was good. It's been 3 days, my nails are still amazing. No chips, no bubbles. I'm a very happy and satisfied customer. I will definitely come back again. read more

I just received an excellent manicure from here! The team is so warm and kind. They were empty, so the front desk (owner?) gave me a complimentary massage while I got an excellent gel manicure done. They place is spotless/clean and they have an excellent wall of fresh polish. Can't wait to return. My gel mani was only $40 which is a steal for such a nice spot. read more

This place is the bomb dot Com! They're super fast, thorough, and perfectionist! Virgo vibes! Not to mention that they're super sweet! Compare them to anything on 8th/in the area, and they are the CHEAPEST. There's also no hustling of $1 extra this, $5 extra this. Highly recommend a 10 min chair Massage after your mani...so your nails can dry and you're not sitting at the air dry station. They recommended "layering" 2 different nail polishes so you have a "custom" color. (*she layered Opi "A little gilt under the kilt" and "Malaga Wine" for my toes and Essie "Fiji" and "Angel Food". Got an sns dip manicure here Tuesday, and I expected it to last at *least a week. Day 5 it chipped (I think the manicurist put one too many layers on, which is why it's so bubbly and chipped so quickly). I also asked for a red that matched "Enuf is Enuf" from Essie which I showed her (it's a a coral red) and this doesn't match at all. For $76 (with tip) not really pleased. read more

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews, Plie has been the best pedicure I've gotten in the city to date. Lily was super friendly, neat but efficient, and gave the most amazing foot massage. The color selection is better than most places I've been to, the chairs are comfortable, the pedi was neat, and I had a genuinely good time chatting with the girls. 10/10 will be back. read more

I've been looking for a neighborhood nail salon to go to and I think I found it in mail Bella. The staff is extremely friendly and they do amazing work. I went for a basic pedicure and gel manicure. I upgraded to the spa pedicure and was extremely impressed. The nail salon really scrubbed my feet (I mean got on the floor for better positioning kind of scrubbed). It comes with a ten minute hot stone massage, a scrub. It was fantastic. The gel mani was very quick and she paid a lot of attention to detail. I will be coming back! I also liked how you can book appts online. Definitely a plus! read more

This place was GREAT. Ladies are so nice and accommodated our walk in. Did a fantastic job for me and my daughter and quickly as we were pressed for time! We walked all over trying to find a nice place. (There aren't that many in the Times Square neighborhood so this was an unexpected gem of a place.) Prices are fair. Highly recommend! read more

No. I was desperate, so we went in because of convenience. But one of the my worst pedicures. Things to Note: 1) Will always try to up sell you from a $20 basic pedicure to a $55 green tea treatment 2) Not relaxing and dirty 3) No liners for the water 4) I question if the tools are sterilized My lady was perfectly nice, but really this isn't a place you come to feel relaxed. They basically scrubbed my heel so hard that it was in pain. Should of listened to yelp and walked down five more blocks. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I felt maybe I'll treat myself. I went to get a pedicure in between shows this past Saturday. I didn't see any prices on the wall, but I figured it couldn't be more than $30? The woman that took me for the pedicure didn't even turn the massager on for my back. While she started on the pedicure she asked if I wanted an extra 10 minutes massage on my feet or a spa pedicure. The "spa" was just her squeezing out lavender soap and lotion on my feet. I honestly don't think I even got 10 minutes massage. I would've thought extra meant, 10 MORE minutes on top of a regular foot massage. It felt like maybe 5 minutes and it was just OK. When she finished and I went to get the nails dry that was the end of it. She just left me there. Also, the dryer was awful! I felt nothing coming out of it. I waited almost 30 minutes for them to dry! I put my shoes on by myself (which is hard to do at 34 weeks). When I took my shoes off later, two of my toes were not dried completely and got messed up!! When I was ready to leave...the woman in the front said it was $63!!!!!!!!!!! I will never go here again for messed up nails! $63?!?! Get out of here. read more

Just got a mani pedi and the massage chair was very relaxing. Not the cheapest spot but very clean!

I have been going here between shows for years. Now that my bf lives across the street I frequent the place. They do a standard pedicure. Solid. I think they REALLY shine with finger nails. I am a gel manicure or acrylic set kind of girl. The technicians take lots of pride in well done nails so I cannot complain. Every time I go, they do a wonderful job. *Last week I went to get my underarms waxed and it was much cheaper than my usual place and LESS painful due to a "sensitive skin" wax. That said, be ready to be upsold. They will offer you a SPA pedicure. They will offer you a topcoat for an extra $1. They will have an up-charge for the "sensitive skin" wax. It's standard. Bottom line, the ladies are very nice and a little bit sneaky, but I've come to expect that of most midtown nail salons. (I.e.,They will reject your AMEX and say it doesn't work, but if it's your only method of payment, they'll say it "sometimes doesn't work" which just means, they don't want to pay the fee for AMEX transactions...) Solid salon with decent midtown prices! read more

I was looking for a nail salon in the Hell's Kitchen area - which are oddly few and far between? I was very glad I found Nail Bella and thought that they did an excellent job and took their time with my gel manicure (can always appreciate a nail tech that adds multiple coats!). I bite my nails sometimes, but I thought they did a great job on my short nails! Overall a good experience and a good manicure! read more

Listen, this is the nail salon where they don't forget your face...at least not mine. It's no frills, but they do a good extension, a good mani/pedi and are friendly and courteous. It was definitely an interesting experience. The service was nice, and they were friendly, but there were some events that soured the experience. Firstly while looking at nail colors one of the technicians kept touching/petting my coat. It was a brown teddy coat that looked very nice but they didn't even ask before one of them just started touching, and she touched my backside nonetheless which was highly uncomfortable. My friend had lost her wallet the same evening and the nail salon store was the last place we saw it at. When I called to inquire about the wallet they were very quick to say no, and didn't even put me on hold or anything to attempt to bother checking. That was highly suspicious to me and now my friend's bank account has been drained of her money. There's positive intent, and while otherwise my nails look nice I'm not sure I'll be coming back here. read more

At first the service was great, amazing pedicure, and great nail shape. Despite them scraping our skin with the nail file, taking forever(over 3 hours for mani/pedi with full staff and no clients until last 30 mins), reusing old files from previous customers. My friend asked for the same mid-short length nails as mine and got long, ugly ghetto looking nails. They messed up the paint on both of us. Then charged 90 for a fill and polish and 180 for pedicure/fullset. When we paid and tipped them 50 dollars all together on nails we were not satisfied with they yelled at us saying "oh that's it no no you tip more tip more." Horrible, never ever ever ever again, would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Now, I usually don't make a fuss when things go wrong at nail salons because I'm an understanding person. So for me to get up here and write this review says A LOT. I've been to Nail Bella on a few occasions before and as expensive as it is I'd say it's just a decent nail job at best. But it's convenient so I continue to go. Whatever. Until this last time - I left the salon completely enamored with my overpriced gel nail set - all ready for my business trip the next day. Lo and behold the gel polish didn't last but two days! I was appalled, not only did my gel polish chip in a ridiculously quick time frame - I had an entire "polish nail" pop off under a week! That was just insane - where they do that at? Worst salon experience I've ever had by far. Gel nails down in less than a week - that's got to be a world record I swear... read more

I really want to love this place. Unfortunately I don't. I've been here 4 times now. All of them different services. They r good for normal mani pedi. If you want anything more complicated, forget it. I walked in wanting sculpted gel nail extensions. I walked out with a hybrid of tips, super glue and gel overlay. The whole time they were trying to convince me to do a acrylic dip instead. I insisted on uv hard gel and they finally caved. $91 later they came out decent but not what I wanted. First time I got a spa pedicure. For about $50, the spa pedicure was pretty awesome. They sold me my feet were soft and the pedicure was average at best but the massage and the comfortable chair was the upside. Second time I came for a gel mani and regular pedi. The color selection is good but not great. Good luck trying to find a matching color for your toes. 3rd time was normal mani pedi. Didn't rush me took their time but nothing amazing. 4th time I wanted uv hard gel sculpted extensions. They had no idea what I was talking about. Told me they don't sculpt and gave me the option of silk wraps or tips. I opted for tips. Then they tried to convince me to do this dip process of glue and powder. I told them I don't like acrylic. They said it's not acrylic but rather a gel dipping powder. Which I still insisted on doing uv gel. They caved and used the ibd sculpting gel. Sunny was super frustrated. Worked up a sweat. Took almost 2 hours. It came out initially super super sloppy. But with so much filing. They eventually came out even and nice. She did so much filing that she filed my cuticles raw so that it hurt when she wiped it down with acetone and alcohol. End result, I can see a halfway line where she glued the tip under the gel. Pros: Ladies are really nice. The place is clean. Prices aren't too terrible but pretty typical for Manhattan. Cons: They really nickel and dime you. If they tell u $23 for mani pedi really means $28. Prices are made up. They don't have much skill other than standard nail painting. I don't think I will be coming back unless I want a quick paint job. read more

I went there one day after work. I got there around 5:45pm which was well before their 8pm closing time. The lady goes by Sharon, was very impatient, seemed in a rush for some reason and complained about me being picky about the colors. Doing manicure with her was literally painful, my nail was bleeding and she was complaining about me in Korean with the other staff. Little did they know that I understand Korean. I mean I'd like to support small businesses but let's be fair I don't want to pay money to get insulted or just get a bad mood. read more

Walked in Saturday evening. My nails were a mess and after a day of traveling I was looking for some pampering and relaxation. Booked a gel pedicure and manicure. Both were amazing. The pedicure one of best I have ever had with a 20 minute foot massage, amazing. My toes look beautiful and the dry skin is all gone and looks so moisturized. Manicure looks lovely, clean and fresh. The staff were lovely, polite and offered cool water. Salon was very clean. The color selection fresh and modern. I will definitely come back and I've added to my favorites. read more

Found this place on yelp--- I needed a spot close to the office that was clean and reasonably priced for NYC. Cute spot - everyone is very nice and they have tons of Essie polishes -- which I LOVE! #teamessie haha Sylvia did my nails - she filed them exactly how I like (I'm into the pointy nails ) and was pretty careful when cutting my cuticles. I am very happy with the services at this salon. The spa pedicures come with a very long leg massage that is relaxing and skillfully executed. The technicians give you the option of using aromatherapy oils during your manicure or pedicure. I like to bring my own polish, base coat, and top coat. Some salons do not appreciate this but they are courteous and use my tools. Additionally, I have acrylic tips. I haven't found many salons in New York that do acrylic nail service well. These ladies are pros, I have been pleased with each acrylic service. The only negative is that the salons does not accept tips on cards and they charge extra for quick dry top coat. The prices are on the higher end of the market. read more
