I walked in and asked for acrylic, they said in front of myself and my boyfriend yes come , I will do . They removed my excessing acrylic from my nails , when processed to do powder , I stopped them and said this is not acrylic. They answered O Honey we don't do acrylic, I said , why u lied , I don't want powdered or anything else . I want acrylic. Now my real nails are weak, brittle and almost, broken, they bring me back and say don't worry we fix , fix with cheap powder that I did not want . 3.5 stars. I walked in on a Sunday at 2 PM and was able to get a SNS powder manicure ($47) with zero wait time. I was going to originally get a gel manicure? ($35), but my nails were so dry and brittle, the manicurist recommended the SNS powder manicure because it is good for strengthening the nail bed. I'm glad I tried it! Don't forget to pick up their loyalty card and get it stamped/signed. It says after 10 visits, you get 1 free manicure. Note that they charge sales tax at the end. I've been going here for a while (updating my past review from 2022) and I used to like this place but not anymore. I think they got new management in the past 2-3 months because the service has gone downhill. The nail techs have been extremely rude, rough and hard to deal with. I asked for a red color that was labeled "38" and showed her, I guess she lost it, then insisted i wanted a different "38" that was brown...I had to tell her multiple times that was the wrong color and she was clearly getting mad at me because I didn't want the color she was trying to get me to have. After a few minutes of back and forth she tosses me the basket with the colors and tells me to look for it then magically I find the correct 38. She took the gel off my nails extremely hard to the point that it hurt, wouldn't listen when I asked her nicely to not be so rough and got visibly annoyed when I told her I didn't want my nails cut. To top things off, when I went to go pay I had $20 bill that I asked her to split it up for tip. She didn't hand me back the cash and instead goes "$7 for you?" Implying she would keep $13 and that's what I would be tipping her on a $37 gel manicure (that's more than 20% lol). I told her that was really presumptuous and rude. I've NEVER had someone tell ME what I'm tipping them. I'm not coming back here. Awful service, rude, harsh and hostile environment in what should be a relaxing experience. If I could now give this place a zero I would. I am not going back here again. I had a positive experience last time and an okay experience this time. Main reason I will not go back is because the technician who did my friend's nails was very rude and unprofessional to my friend. She was pushy for a tip, insisted she give her cash, and when my friend gave her all the only cash she had, the lady was very nasty and told my friend it wasn't enough and to add more on the card. When my friend was writing in her tip she said that it wasn't enough and took the pen out of my friends hand and crossed it out! We tried asking for a manager to talk to, first the manager was downstairs and after a verbal exchange between two technicians in their language, she wasn't there all of a sudden. One of the technicians did apologize on the rude lady's behalf, but at the end of the day nothing was done to remedy the situation. My friends manicure was also chipped the next day! I know that not all technicians here are rude and unprofessional and it is not fair to judge them all based on this lady, but I refuse to support a business that does not do anything to remedy an unprofessional situation. You walk in and they are overly eager and friendly. I never been greeted by so many manicurists at once. I did not appreciate waiting for me while i picked a color. Pedicure took about 5 minutes. They offer water in a styrofoam cup. Towards the end of the pedicure, my massage chair was still running and she turned it off to paint my toenails... my feet weren't moving that badly to turn it off. Then came manicure, thought it was better and took 10 minutes. So overall you're out the door within 30 min or less (inclusive of drying). I wish they would spend more time on the feet, it was way too fast IMO. Oh and they're prices went up. And they add tax in all prices. read more

I visited this spa with a friend while in NYC this past weekend. She wanted a mani/pedi, so I decided to accompany her and get a mani. The prices are definitely reasonable -- the mani/pedi was $23 and my mani alone was $9. But apparently there are up charges, which other Yelpers have warned about in their reviews. I noticed that the 10 minute massage was only $19 with the mani, so I decided to treat myself. My mani was done really well, and only took 15 minutes. As I was drying my nails, I was able to get my massage, which was excellent. I left very happy and spending less than $20. Can't beat that. read more

My second try at a nail salon since I've moved to NYC and I've got to say my search is over! I found this salon through my yelp app and the reviews were very helpful. I went in at about noon and they took me right away. The prices are reasonable, but watch out for the up charges (The only reason for the 4 stars)! The 10 minute massages (which they so cleverly "suggest" without telling you it is additional $) were great but that ran me an extra $20, on top of the extra $20 (somehow a few dollars more than quoted), but since I got great service and a a great gel manicure and "Jelly Spa" pedicure, I didn't complain. Overall, I loved this place. It is a nice sized salon, very clean and sanitary. They have the new Essie Gel collection, and of course the other brands like Shellac and Gelish. They also have a great selection of nail lacquer (OPI, Essie) so you can pick what ever your heart desires! Definitely, a must try! read more

It wasn't for their work that I give them a low rating but it's for their attitude when it came to paying. When has tip ever been a strict 20% requirement because they act like it's a rule. They told me powder would be $40 and they charged me $42 and when I gave a few dollars worth of a tip they go "here we accept 20% tip" and they bully you into paying more.
