After dealing with the major big box appliance retailers without success, I finally went to Plessers'. I remember going to their store in New Hyde Park with my parents back in the day. I also like dealing with smaller local business establishments. At my wits end since my washer and dryer were out of service for several days it was a pleasure to speak to Peter Romano who patiently answered all of my questions - and guided me to the right washer dryer set for my circumstances. It was a pleasure dealing with Peter who set-up delivery, warranty, accessories, removal, etc. Easy, no stress and quick. I will definitely use Plessers and Peter for my future appliance needs and be sure to pass this along to my friends and family. I am excited to complete my experience with the delivery tomorrow of my appliances. read more

I e worked with Pete several times , always easy , fair and informative. The delivery was on time, seamless, set up by pet personaly, Iwould highly recommend Plessers and especially Pete Romano before you buy elsewhere . read more

The customer service at Plessers is fantastic! Megan F. was incredibly helpful and a real joy to work with. The pricing was great and their willingness to work with me on the delivery schedule around my travel schedule was very also helpful. read more

Charged my card for a product that they didn't have. Then shifted out the delivery date for months. And they held onto my money all this time. They never answered my queiries of status or for a refund until the BBB was involved, then they were very prompt and say they've returned my money (but it'll take 5 days until I see it??? Stay away from these cheats. read more

Jacob Dahan's assistance was superior. His consultative sales approach provided choices without pressure. We worked together to build an appliance package for a high-end spec home, and it's been an excellent experience. read more

Gerard was pleasant and helped finalize my purchase. The item's price was comparable to other dealers ( the price was set by the manufacturer ) however when the total was considered I saved money. They have kept me informed of the shipping status and am looking forward to its delivery. So far Plesser's has been a good company to work with. read more

We discovered Plesser's Appliance in a roundabout way, but boy are we happy that we did! On a mission to buy some pavers at a local box Store in kingston, we walked through the refrigerator Department and found a good deal on a kitchenaid. After talking to the salesperson for some time, we got to the register, went through all the rigamarole to get it put on our store card to get the extra 5% discount, and ONLY THEN were told it was not in stock! No rain check, no nothing, the salesperson dropped us like a hot potato. Thoroughly pissed with that experience, we went online and discovered Plesser's Appliance on Long island. They deliver nationwide, had a very competitive price, and when we called and spoke with Jacob, they proved to be exceptionally helpful and informative. A little extra research revealed that they've been in business for over 100 years and have an exceptionally High satisfaction rating online . When all was said and done, we spent less than we would have with the Box store, and had a significantly more pleasant experience working with a salesperson. Bottom line, need some pavers, go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Need appliances, shop Plesser's Appliance !! read more

Adam helped us late on a Friday afternoon select a new refrigerator when ours died. He was able to share with us what was in stock that fit our needs and we wrapped up the transaction quickly. We appreciate his professionalism and willingness to help us so late in the day. read more

10/5 Peter Romano greatly helped me when I picked a cooktop that was out of my price-range. Not only did he help me select one in my price range, but also helped me found one that was on sale, and had more features than the one I was looking at. Thanks again! read more

They assist you with making sure that the product is correct fit for your space, but they don't back it when they are wrong. Do not take returns. They send a delivery company. It only has one man and I had to help. We used a heavy refrigerator into my house when it didn't fit. He left it in my house and refused to take it back. I contacted the sales representative and they refused to take it back so I'm stuck with a brand new refrigerator that I cannot use buy local where you can talk to someone face-to-face. These people are not reputable and do not stand behind their business. read more

Great service, super helpful, had all the appliances we were looking for and price matched too! Manny & Michael were awesome!!

I was looking for a GE Profile dishwasher. I looked at Home Depot and Lowes first. Then I started searching the internet for a better price. I found Plesser's Appliances and their price for the dishwasher I wanted was much, much lower than anywhere else I found. I called Plesser's to get additional information on the dishwasher and clarification on pricing. Gene answered the phone and was very helpful with all my questions. He was very professional, courteous, and very very knowledgeable. I had only called to get some questions answered, but after talking with Gene, I decided to purchase at that moment. The company has 2 locations in New York and I live in Nevada. Plesser's advertises nationwide shipping. So about 3-4 hrs after purchase, I have already received a call from a shipping company scheduling delivery. Great service. Thank you Gene. read more

The salesperson Meghan was quite kind and helpful however the delivery service has been disappointing. Delivery arrived 45 minutes past expected delivery window and the team showed up with a damaged product. Since it was a Friday there was no getting in touch with customer service until Monday. I then had to contact them 3 separate times after being transferred to voicemail. I was not reached out to proactively and the customer service seemed apathetic to the issue. I would have appreciated a better apology and more thoughtful reconciliation or solution. I tried giving this family run business a chance and should have just gone with P.C. Richard's. read more

I ordered from Plesser's because of promise for 1 week or 10 days delivery. As of today, 8/4, I still have not received my order. I gave 2 stars as my salesman, Eugene was not responsive after I signed the agreement and made the payment on 7/21/26. No status or update even after I left him voicemail. On 7/28, I tracked my order and learned the trucking company still have not picked up the package from the store. With the delay from store pickup by the trucking company, this has caused a major headache to reschedule my contractors. It's terrible experience. Over promises and under delivery. I would have ordered from another vendor if I was told it would take more than 2 weeks to deliver. read more

Eugene Coughlin was excellent, helped us find the best appliance fit for a tight space and supported us throughout the installation process. Helped us get the best deal and found rebates, etc. Totally satisfied with minimal effort on our part. Highly recommended. read more

We worked with Meghan, who was lovely. Were were looking for 2 replacement dishwashers because one of ours conked out and they were both almost 8 years old (built in obsolescence made it not worth repairing). She was extremely honest and gave us all of the details we needed to make a smart choice. I had already reviewed many details on Consumer Reports so I had a few questions that I know were correctly answered because I'd done my research ahead of time. I've bought appliances (including BBQ) from only Plesser's for the last 8 years, and I've spent a lot, but the service I've gotten is amazing! You're not just a#, you're a real person and they are extremely helpful. Honestly, I think it would be crazy to go anywhere else because they can get you ANYTHING you might want. It's ok to look elsewhere if you want to see something they don't have on display, but when it's time to buy I see it as a no-brainer. Plesser's all the way. read more

Super service: - real people that have solutions - emails are returned promptly - phone calls are answered, not outsourced - delivery took a LONG time but I was always able to reach someone to set expectations - they use freight service and ship to their hubs, if the date/time don't work, just reach out for alternative ones And hallelujah - no cosmetic defects from shipping and handling. Can't say the same for Home Depot - had to refuse it and then restart the whole process, which brought me through more online research and to Plessers. They also carry manufacturers that the big box stores don't carry and a huge selection. So in the end I went with a whole different type and different brand - really happy with my final choice. I emailed them about a concern I had after the delivery - CS emailed me a solution and it resolved on its own. I totally forgot about it a few days later and they reached out to the manufacturer's warranty service and put in a ticket for me! Wow - that's amazing. Shout out to Nyra! Prices are slightly less or on par with competitors, but their delivery cost is a bit higher, basically if you don't pay the 'install' price they just drop it and leave. I didn't have any waterline or ice to install so I opted for just the basic and disposal of the old. Very pleased with my experience and will shop with them in the future. read more

First they say they have it in stock. Fantastic, I order the washer and dryer! Later I got an email saying I have to call before they can ship. He says because I have an apartment number I'll need a COI... Apparently that has something to do with insurance. I explain I'm the owner and I don't think I need to have extra insurance. He then says it won't be delivered until late next week. I have them cancel order, because others can deliver same day, same price. Then they call me. The woman explains that they had ordered the washer and dryer directly from the manufacturer and that it has already shipped. So much for "in stock", so in this case I would have to pay a restocking fee. I explained that the item couldn't ship until I made the phone call, according to your email, I made the phone call and cancel the order. When did you put in the order to ship? That doesn't seem to be a question she was willing to answer. Days later, Restocking fee or not, I still don't have my refund. As of tomorrow I will be denying the charge with my credit card. read more
