First they say they have it in stock. Fantastic, I order the washer and dryer! Later I got an email saying I have to call before they can ship. He says because I have an apartment number I'll need a COI... Apparently that has something to do with insurance. I explain I'm the owner and I don't think I need to have extra insurance. He then says it won't be delivered until late next week. I have them cancel order, because others can deliver same day, same price. Then they call me. The woman explains that they had ordered the washer and dryer directly from the manufacturer and that it has already shipped. So much for "in stock", so in this case I would have to pay a restocking fee. I explained that the item couldn't ship until I made the phone call, according to your email, I made the phone call and cancel the order. When did you put in the order to ship? That doesn't seem to be a question she was willing to answer. Days later, Restocking fee or not, I still don't have my refund. As of tomorrow I will be denying the charge with my credit card. read more

We have bought appliances from several different stores over the period of 50 years. However, when our contractor suggested we go to Plesser's, we never realized how different this experience would be. When we entered the Plesser's in Southampton we were greeted by Lindsey. After several minutes of conversation we knew that we came to the right place. Lindsey was extremely knowledgeable as well as patient. We had many questions about the different appliances we saw in the showroom and Lindsey explained the similarities and differences between each one. We were there for quite awhile before we decided on our purchase. We never felt as if we were imposing on her time, or felt rushed. Once home, we called Lindsey several times and she was happy to any answer our questions. We returned one day, which happened to be Lindsey's day off. There was another representative there, Adam who spent time with us and he was also helpful, even thought we didn't purchase our appliances from him. We did ask Adam to let Lindsey know we were in and asked if he would have her get back to us. Lindsey returned our call promptly. I also like dealing with smaller local business establishments. At my wits end since my washer and dryer were out of service for several days it was a pleasure to speak to Peter Romano who patiently answered all of my questions - and guided me to the right washer dryer set for my circumstances. They assist you with making sure that the product is correct fit for your space, but they don't back it when they are wrong. Do not take returns. They send a delivery company. It only has one man and I had to help. We used a heavy refrigerator into my house when it didn't fit. He left it in my house and refused to take it back. I contacted the sales representative and they refused to take it back so I'm stuck with a brand new refrigerator that I cannot use buy local where you can talk to someone face-to-face. These people are not reputable and do not stand behind their business. read more

I was looking for a GE Profile dishwasher. I looked at Home Depot and Lowes first. Then I started searching the internet for a better price. I found Plesser's Appliances and their price for the dishwasher I wanted was much, much lower than anywhere else I found. I called Plesser's to get additional information on the dishwasher and clarification on pricing. Gene answered the phone and was very helpful with all my questions. He was very professional, courteous, and very very knowledgeable. I had only called to get some questions answered, but after talking with Gene, I decided to purchase at that moment. The company has 2 locations in New York and I live in Nevada. Plesser's advertises nationwide shipping. I ordered from Plesser's because of promise for 1 week or 10 days delivery. As of today, 8/4, I still have not received my order. I gave 2 stars as my salesman, Eugene was not responsive after I signed the agreement and made the payment on 7/21/26. No status or update even after I left him voicemail. On 7/28, I tracked my order and learned the trucking company still have not picked up the package from the store. With the delay from store pickup by the trucking company, this has caused a major headache to reschedule my contractors. It's terrible experience. Over promises and under delivery. I would have ordered from another vendor if I was told it would take more than 2 weeks to deliver. read more

I had ordered a high rated coffee/espresso machine from another retail appliance store who had notified me the day it was scheduled to be delivered of another six to eight week delay. This was the second delay. I spoke to Peter at Plesser's who was great. They are a key sales source for the manufacturer of the product. Peter called their rep who informed them they had six in stock and would send it with their next delivery. In addition, Plesser's pricing of the machine and warranty were excellent and Peter was on top of it. From speaking to him and him calling manufacturer and getting back to me took less than 40 minutes. Can't wait to try my machine. read more

She was extremely honest and gave us all of the details we needed to make a smart choice. I've bought appliances (including BBQ) from only Plesser's for the last 8 years, and I've spent a lot, but the service I've gotten is amazing! Scheduled a refrigerator delivery with a window of 10-2 on Friday. I had the old unit outside before 10. They called at 1:30 to tell me the unit was damaged and would be rescheduled for the following week. I was unable to get a live person back on the phone fo the rest of the day. After 5 they called to let me know it would be delivered on Monday. They delivered the wrong model on Monday and blamed me. The WORST buying experience ever. read more

Super service: - real people that have solutions - emails are returned promptly - phone calls are answered, not outsourced - delivery took a LONG time but I was always able to reach someone to set expectations - they use freight service and ship to their hubs, if the date/time don't work, just reach out for alternative ones And hallelujah - no cosmetic defects from shipping and handling. Can't say the same for Home Depot - had to refuse it and then restart the whole process, which brought me through more online research and to Plessers. They also carry manufacturers that the big box stores don't carry and a huge selection. So in the end I went with a whole different type and different brand - really happy with my final choice. I emailed them about a concern I had after the delivery - CS emailed me a solution and it resolved on its own. I totally forgot about it a few days later and they reached out to the manufacturer's warranty service and put in a ticket for me! Wow - that's amazing. Shout out to Nyra! Prices are slightly less or on par with competitors, but their delivery cost is a bit higher, basically if you don't pay the 'install' price they just drop it and leave. I didn't have any waterline or ice to install so I opted for just the basic and disposal of the old. Very pleased with my experience and will shop with them in the future. read more

Ordering was easy and the staff seem nice, but I keep being told my dryer will be delivered the next week which I ordered in early June. It's now been over a month with still no update on the actual delivery date and no response to my last request sent 4 days ago from anyone either. I'm now in a situation where I have to have a surgery I can't delay any further and don't know when or if I'll receive my dryer or if I have to file a claim with my bank. It's pretty disappointing.
