Communication was awful they were unresponsive for days at a time and never answered their phone. They also showed up an hour before the scheduled appointment time without calling ahead and started pounding on my door. When I explained that this was not appropriate because I have a reactive dog, instead of showing any empathy or taking accountability, they blamed me for having an "uncontrollable dog." The husband was arrogant and acted as though he didn't need anyone's business. In fact, he actually told me this on a recorded call. The wife was incredibly rude and unpleasant to deal with. They were in and out in about 15 minutes, did very little investigation, and didn't even move the wine cooler to properly assess the problem. I had explained it wasn't ideal for me to lose two days of pay and take off work, because they wanted to come back a second time. The wife whose name I have, but I will refrain from mentioning didn't property introduce herself. She would only communicate via text message and said she was "the office". They had my very sick father drive an hour to my house to search for an eight-year-old receipt for a warranty claim, only for it to turn out that the repair had been misdiagnosed and wasn't even covered under warranty. So it was completely pointless. They insisted on a work order, which is why we had to find the receipt. Throughout the entire ordeal, they never once apologized for the inconvenience, wasted time, or additional expense they caused. Took no accountability. When I expressed frustration about the situation, they were dismissive and told me to find someone else. They also insisted that most customers are happy when they arrive an hour before a scheduled appointment. They were disgustingly disrespectful. They also failed to provide a report or receipt when I requested one, which only added to the frustration and lack of professionalism throughout the experience. Thankfully, I then worked with Joe from JP precision appliance, and the difference was night and day. Joe was responsive, kind, polite, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He immediately moved the wine cooler, properly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem efficiently. He was friendly, honest, and prepared, and he saved me from spending money on unnecessary repairs. It was a $685 fix , they told me it would be thousands. He fixed it the same day, they told me it would take time for parts to come in. I found out after using them that a multitude of other people had poor experiences as well I would strongly recommend avoiding haggis and instead working with someone like Joe, who understands customer service, professionalism, and how to properly diagnose and repair appliances.
