I contacted Premier Service and spoke with Giovanni. I couldn't help but think at 12 years the fridge might need to be replaced. However, Giovanni came over, diagnosed the problems, and repaired both issues, and provided a 90 day guarantee. His fee of a few hundred bucks, was more than reasonable. He further advised that as long as the compressor continues to work there was no reason to think we couldn't get several more years from this fridge. It's very hard to find trust worthy competent service professionals these days, but we found one in Giovanni and his company.
