I stay in Marriott hotels at least 50% of the year. It takes a LOT to make me write a poor review. I'm a Marriott titanium member, I was Ambassador until I didn't meet the $23k spent last year. This may be hands down one of the worst stays I've experienced in a long time. Upon check in, I was required to sign a good neighbor agreement. I thought this was quite odd as this hotel is in a very quiet area with really nothing within walking distance. Who is coming here to cause some chaos? I started reading the terrible reviews and thought no way could they be right. Oh, they were spot on. The rooms are tiny. The beds are pretty much micro beds. I normally get a king bed, but my son and husband are traveling with me, so I got what they claimed to be 2 queen beds. They are not queen, possiblity doubles? Where do I start. The AC.... It sounds like a jet plane. It is so loud, I have no idea how I am going to sleep through the noise. I guess the positive is that it is drowning out the noise from next door. The noise is two people talking which is at a normal tone. The issue is that the adjoining door has a gap so big that I can put my toes in their room. The restaurant/bar? We waited about 8 minutes before we even saw the bartender. In that time we were able to observe dirty glasses and garbage around the working area of the bar. When he is arrive, he was very unfriendly. We ordered a round of drinks, we would have ordered more, but as when we first arrived, he continued to disappear. Now I call this the bar/restaurant, but honestly it's super strange because it is pretty much part of the check in area and so close to the entry doors that everytime they opened, I got hit with a freezing wind. There is more, but I need to see if I can get Uber to deliver earplugs so that I have a chance of sleeping through the extremely loud AC/heat.

We came in late on Friday's night, Leslie was at the front desk and checked us in with ease. She gave us a few bottles of water as complementary items. I asked about the Gift Card but it requires manager's approval. Not her's fault. She tried to help as much as she could. Overall, hotel is nice with recent update. Pool was ok but hot tub was great. Bathroom was renovated so it's nice and clean. Marriot should allow any of their employees to approve the gift card. Leslie and the manager deserve a rate with their exceptional customer service. Will stay there again in the future.

Nothing notable to complain about. I could of course nit pick any hotel - but this was decent, so full marks given where credit is due. The room was clean, ac worked, shower was hot. All the usual hotel room items. Food downstairs was decent. Place seems to be well run. No saggy beds, plenty of water, and can stream Netflix on the TV. Dunno why this place has a 3.2 star rating. Seems fine to me. Amenities are up to par, water is freely available around the hotel, pool is clean. Note for management: if you would like me to offer very specific feedback upon each visit such as: room water pressure, room water temperature, air conditioner condition, vent cleanliness, room cleanliness, staff service, food quality - contact me to give me a free night booking each month and I will provide a full review upon my next visit or any subsequent visits each month until the end of Feb 2025. Happy to provide my Marriott # as well.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. Rooms were super clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel has been recently remodeled and looks great. Beautiful window views of the mountains, trees and wild turkeys. Bar and restaurant were both good. We had dinner there our final night. It was pricey but the portions made up for it. I can't wait to come back. Also Tea at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

From the moment we arrived and were checked in by Steve, we knew that we would be in for a pleasant, relaxing time! The accommodations were so comfortable and ample. Beds and linens were amazing! We overlooked the pool area, which was great. Breakfast was soo yummy! Had the buffet for a few mornings and then ordered off of the menu for some variety. Staff in the Market area were so attentive! Rheyschell, Jocelyn and Teresa were always on their game. We are Platinum Elite mambers so we also frequented the M Club. Karla was a whirlwind, keeping all of the area stocked. Forrest and Trina at the desk were always there to assist. What an experience! We were treated like family, and felt very welcome! Kendall, thanks for inspiring such a great team! It all starts at the top!

Crowded pool and spa by same group all afternoon and evening.

Lowered a star because of low quality M Club food for 5pm to 7pm. Mini corn dogs and Oreo cookies? That's the best this Marriott can do? However, M Club breakfast was typical and good. Thermostat auto switches from heat to cool so can't maintain constant temperature. No way to turn it off. Nice refurbished room since here a few years ago. Excellent front desk encounters both days.

The Pleasanton Marriott is a very nice hotel. My husband and I stayed one night on New Year's Eve and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was not too busy on New Year's Eve, so the hotel upgraded us to a room on a higher floor facing the pool with M club lounge access. The M Club was stocked with snacks, drinks, sodas, and coffee. The lounge had lots of tables, chairs, and TV's, which was perfect so everyone who used the lounge could spread out. Lounge access also means free hot buffet breakfast in the morning. The front desk/lounge area was nicely decorated for Christmas. The rooms were very nice, modern with hardwood floors. I am always a fan of Marriott beds and these were no different. They were nice and firm. I seriously slept like a baby on them. The hotel also has a pretty good sized gym, pool, and jacuzzi. Another plus of this hotel is that there is free parking. There is no permit needed and they do not charge a daily fee to park like some other nicer hotels do. I would defiantly stay here again.

If you're looking for a bad place to stay, this is your place. Here are the main issues: -Water Shutoff: It remained unavailable for two hours. -Water Quality: When running water in the sink and shower, it came out brown, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and safety. -Misrepresented Laundry Facilities: The hotel was advertised on Expedia as having onsite laundry, but upon check in I was informed that the service was offsite at a sister property. The limited onsite machines were inadequate, with one out of the two washing machines out of order. -Noise Issues: Walls are paper thin. I could hear EVERYTHING from neighboring rooms. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't support videos or else I would include in review. -Wi-Fi Connectivity: Unbelievable slow. -Customer Service Issues: Rude. I'll leave it at that. -Heating Issues: The room's thermostat was unreliable, leaving the temperature inconsistent and uncomfortable. -Mariott Points: You won't receive any points if you book through third-parties even if you're a loyal member.

This hotel is set-up much like a nice apartment complex. Her room was the One Bedroom King Suite. It was very spacious and has everything you may need for a long stay. The bed was comfortable (but lacked in pillows in my opinion). The sofa easily converts into a bed which is nice for having guests over. The kitchen is fully loaded with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The bathroom is a little small but the vanity is huge. The closet is also very spacious. There are large TVs in both the living and bedrooms which is a nice touch. The amenities are great too. There is a basketball/pickleball court, pool, grill, and hot tub outside. It feels very communal. People are always lounging out at the tables and around the pool. There are also fire pits to relax at. There is a nice gym, market, and small lobby bar. There is also complementary breakfast every morning (which is actually very good). They offer omelets made fresh to order with other items that rotate daily. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! One thing I did notice is that after a while, even with the constant room service and a clean room, the room develops a little bit of a stale smell. Unfortunately, the windows don't open, but if you leave the door open, it will air out. I would definitely recommend staying here!

There's 2 options for them. Ones with frozen berries and plain yogurt. I tried both multiples times. For the plain one I would add pineapple from the fresh fruit bar. I loved the texture and taste of the yogurt. If I ever had to stay in pleasanton again I'd book almost solely for that yogurt and the dog friendly vibe.

Pillows were too soft for me, u can fold them like a crane! All the staff (Nick, Isiah, Dawn, Miguel, Issac, forgot the young lady's name) was accommodating, Mark was lackluster.. Breakfast is served daily 6:30-930 (10am on wknds). No bacon, you make your own Belgium waffles, or pancakes, turkey or pork sausage, eggs (powdered or liquid..) oatmeal, coffee, etc. It was VERY quiet my whole stay, I was on the 1st floor. I kept the "Do not disturb" sign up the whole time, and they didn't bug me. They actually had to call me twice because I guess by law housekeeping has to come in. They asked what time I wanted them to come, and when they came I only wanted them to vacuum, and clean the tile floors. It's $2 to wash, $1.50 to dry, and they have quarters at the front desk for you-no credit card machine. The only thing that drove me CRAZY was that they have ONE cart to carry luggage to your room, and the thermostat!!!!! I went floor to floor looking for the cart and it wasn't there.. It took forever for me to bring things to my room! They should at least have 3 carts for that size hotel. It's cold out so I turned the heat on. The max on the thermostat is 78 degrees, but once it reaches that temp, all this cold air comes out! Even if u turn it "off" there's still the fan blowing COLD air! I ended up covering it w/ a bath towel, and put a can of soup on top of the towel to hold it in place..smh. Even if the temp drops to 77 degrees the heat won't come on, you have to let it go down to 76 for the heat to come on again- I dunno why. I asked Nick about this and he said he had talked to maintenance about it, but didn't know how to turn off the constant running fan. Oh, the thermostat in the bedroom gets hotter than the living room. I'd definitely stay here again!!

A particular chill in the air. A look that communicates: you may exist, but you need not exist here. I had always assumed this gift belonged exclusively to the Parisian waiter -- perfected over centuries, practically a protected cultural institution. And then I met the bartender at AC Hotel Pleasanton. What she accomplished through a single look, a studied posture, and whatever words she deployed in lieu of a greeting was, objectively, extraordinary. I -- MaisOui Le Frenchy, a man who has approached bars on three continents without once questioning his right to be there -- found myself thinking: what did I do wrong? This is not a sensation I know well. It is also not a sensation any guest should ever know. I did not order a drink. The communication had already been made perfectly clear. The room, for its part, arrived with its own atmosphere: a large, mysterious smear on the exterior of the bathroom door, trailing downward in long dramatic streaks, as though whatever was responsible had made a desperate and unsuccessful bid for freedom. I did not touch it. I did not investigate. One night does not require a formal inquiry. Which is what makes all of this so particularly frustrating. Because the hotel itself is genuinely good. The room is well-appointed, spacious enough to breathe, and the design has been executed with care. The lamps by the pool, in particular, are a small but considered touch -- the kind of detail that signals someone, somewhere, actually thought about the experience. For the business traveler who has suffered through the beige indignities of lesser roadside accommodations -- and I have, more than I care to recount -- this is a meaningful step up. It is worth noting -- and fairness demands that I note it -- that the manager, upon being made aware of the evening's highlights, was gracious, competent, and genuinely concerned. She is, without question, working above her surroundings. The bones are good. The execution, on two particular fronts, was not. Three stars reflects precisely that arithmetic: a four-star property undone by a bartender who should not be facing guests, and a bathroom door that should have been faced by housekeeping. Fix those two things, and this review writes itself differently.
