    Cockroach on the dresser

Seriously, don't stay here. There are no ice machines, the coffee maker is filthy, the walls are paper thin, the rooms are closets, and there were ROACHES. I showed the Manager a pic that I took, and he insisted he had never had complaints and it was a perfect room. For $110 a night, just save your money and sleep in your car

We reserved one standard room with 2 queen beds, when you walk in to the right is a vanity with a sink across from the closet and then the toilet and bathtub are in a space separated by a door which was nice. There's access to an outside balcony that had a little table and two chairs. We used the sitting area in the lobby that's also the business center as well as the gym facilities. The business center consists of a few computers and I was very impressed with the gym. One of the best gyms with the most versatile equipment at a hotel that I have ever experienced, as well as spacious. Will definitely be back!

I'm not saying all, but there's only one receptionist named Trena whom I felt was more empathetic in my situation and was the only one who made us feel welcome and seemed happy to help. When I first arrived, I was struggling to unload everything out of the car since I had my baby in a stroller and they were able to assist me. All other members made it feel like we were bothering them when we are asking for help. We are a military family and we stayed here for a long-term maybe for over two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be available. We have a newborn and cats. They have so much red tape tapes and house rules when it comes to housekeeping. They keep on saying that it's California law that guests must stay out during housekeeping, however when I looked it up I cannot find any law saying that guests must stay out when they're doing housekeeping. One of their house rules is that we cannot stay at all inside the room while their housekeeping second is that we have to keep the cats in the kennel when they are housekeeping. Having to put the cats in the kennel and moving outside the lobby with a newborn every other day is not an easy job. I tried to compromise and put the cats inside the bathroom while they clean the main area, but they still won't allow or accept that compromise. They're just not understanding at all with certain people's situation. When it comes to following rules, they're pretty black and white and unwilling to help customers out.

Pillows were too soft for me, u can fold them like a crane! All the staff (Nick, Isiah, Dawn, Miguel, Issac, forgot the young lady's name) was accommodating, Mark was lackluster.. Breakfast is served daily 6:30-930 (10am on wknds). No bacon, you make your own Belgium waffles, or pancakes, turkey or pork sausage, eggs (powdered or liquid..) oatmeal, coffee, etc. It was VERY quiet my whole stay, I was on the 1st floor. I kept the "Do not disturb" sign up the whole time, and they didn't bug me. They actually had to call me twice because I guess by law housekeeping has to come in. They asked what time I wanted them to come, and when they came I only wanted them to vacuum, and clean the tile floors. It's $2 to wash, $1.50 to dry, and they have quarters at the front desk for you-no credit card machine. The only thing that drove me CRAZY was that they have ONE cart to carry luggage to your room, and the thermostat!!!!! I went floor to floor looking for the cart and it wasn't there.. It took forever for me to bring things to my room! They should at least have 3 carts for that size hotel. It's cold out so I turned the heat on. The max on the thermostat is 78 degrees, but once it reaches that temp, all this cold air comes out! Even if u turn it "off" there's still the fan blowing COLD air! I ended up covering it w/ a bath towel, and put a can of soup on top of the towel to hold it in place..smh. Even if the temp drops to 77 degrees the heat won't come on, you have to let it go down to 76 for the heat to come on again- I dunno why. I asked Nick about this and he said he had talked to maintenance about it, but didn't know how to turn off the constant running fan. Oh, the thermostat in the bedroom gets hotter than the living room. I'd definitely stay here again!!

Parking was easy and accessible. Once we were settled, our room was clean and spacious, located on the third floor away from the elevator, which kept things quiet. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and the front desk hostess was genuinely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the issues started right away. The first room we were given had a strong curry smell, and we had to request a different room. While they did move us without much hassle, that's something that should have been caught beforehand. The bathroom in the new room felt old and worn, with dated fixtures that need updating. The shower was the biggest letdown--water pressure was extremely weak, the pipes rattled loudly, and the shower head made an odd high-pitched "singing" noise the entire time. Breakfast downstairs wasn't worth it, and the coffee was just as disappointing. We ended up heading out to a local breakfast spot instead. Overall, the hotel benefits from its location and room size, but it clearly needs upgrades and better attention to maintenance. It's fine if you only need a basic place to sleep, but there are better options out there for the price.
