This area of Milpitas is literally by a landfill and you can smell the air outside the hotel, it is disgusting trash smell. And the worst part is the air flows into the first floor of the hotel. Absolutely stinks outside. Parking scam. When booking on the website it said parking was included. Then they tried to charge $15 for parking when there is tons of space in the parking lot. This is just a scam to receive extra money from the customers. Room is spacious but the combo of the above definitely warrants 1 star. We decided to stay here since we were in Milpitas for the weekend. Check in process was quick and easy. There is a parking fee. Our room was spacious. The room included sofa and work station. Water pressure was super low. Shampoo bottle was empty. Shower door not sealed properly so when showering, water leaked out and flooded the floor. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus. I really loved my stay here and can't wait to stay again! Check in was smooth, the room was clean, AC worked great, free breakfast was really tasty, a pool and jacuzzi, blackout curtains, location was quick to getting everywhere I wanted, what more can you ask for? I had 2 issues: 1. The TV streaming did not work correctly and it wouldn't let me connect to Netflix. I didn't bring this to the hotels attention though. 2. The shower is a bit weird, an awkward drain position, it's close to the sink so I hit my back on the sink getting out, and the floor would get really wet regardless of how tight I shut the door/had towels on the floor. Even with those 2 issues, I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area! read more

My wife, son, and I stayed here on July 27th. We came for a short anniversary trip. We usually stay at Elements in Milpitas but it was booked up so I looked for something else close to the area. This property had decent reviews and looked newer so I booked 1 night here. We checked in and went to our room. We noticed it had a weird smell, not like a hotel smell, but didn't really think anything of it. We turned on the AC and the smell got a little stronger throughout the room. My wife said the smell burned her nose a bit. Later on as we were unpacking, my wife put our luggage on top of the desk so it would be easier to grab our clothes. She moved the privacy windows on the desk and I saw a cockroach crawl out from in between sliding windows and crawled under the desk so we were not able to catch it in time. Then that was when we realized that the smell was probably some kind of pest chemical. I called down and told the front desk the issue and he didn't question anything and brought a new room key up right away. Seems like it is a known issue that is why there was some kind of chemical smell and the reason why the front desk moved us so fast. They probably that morning before assigning us the room. If that is the case we should not have been put there especially when we have a 1 year old with us. We were then moved to 427 and the smell was definitely a hotel smell, nothing like room 411 but we also noticed that there was a lot of hair in the bathtub as if it had not been cleaned. From all the Marriott's I've stayed at, I have never experienced the cockroach issue, chemical smell, and hair all over the bath tub. I definitely am upset that we were even put into that room. Especially with a child. It's unacceptable. We'll never stay at that property again. Hopefully they fix that issue in that room and don't put anyone else there until it's taken care of. read more

This Springhill Suites was a good, one night stay for my family and I. We made reservations a couple of weeks in advance on the Marriott website. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk clerk. He checked us in and gave us the room that we had reserved. No upgrade was available since we had already booked a larger room. The room was a typical Springhill room with sofa, a work station, beds, and the bathroom. It was a little larger as we reserved. The bathroom was all "Marriott" with the 3 dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower. The room was good enough to give us a good night of rest. Breakfast in the morning was downstairs. They offered the usual scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, yogurt, fruit, breads, coffee and juice. The employees were interesting. The front desk clerk who checked us in "talked" too much according to my wife. I thought he was nice and friendly. The morning front desk clerks were not friendly. One of the clerks did not acknowlege me as she was getting coffee and passed right by me. Coffee in her body was much more important than greeting guests. Overall, we liked this property and location. I might stay here in the future for business. But, the employees need some help with guest relations. read more

I reserved the king bed with West Elm pull out couch. King bed is SUPER COMFY, couch is comparable to a full bed and the pull out as a twin. If you have multiple kids, this is the best deal you can find in the area! The bathroom is huge and one of my favorites of the bathroom is that the shower has a non-slip floor (great for the smaller kids when taking a shower)! Management is very polite as well as the staff. They are on top of it all from requests, questions or concerns! We are staying for about 2 weeks here and Anika from daytime housekeeping is a sweet gal. She would check on me and my fam and was always there for any requests since I requested the same thing 3 days in a row (towel refresh, linen swap, cos 5 kids lol). She does a thorough clean from our midweek change of sheets and cleaning. So rest assured you're in good hands with such a great team here! Breakfast is provided! Apples, oranges, oats with toppings, breakfast sandwiches, cheese omelet, orange juice and apple juice on tap, 2% milk in a carton and chocolate milk in a small bottle, mini cereals for the kids & waffles that are individually packaged. Tv has standard YouTube, Netflix, hbo and all! Not sure if it was just me but the elevators made me feel like I was in some other dimension every time I get out. I think twice about clicking the numbers with an 'r' on it (means rear?) because there are 2 doors on different sides to one of the elevators. Any who, our first day checking in, the handle bar for the hand towel completely came off, The door to the cabinet under the bathroom sink came off and fell on my toes & the lampshade popped off that's right by the door. I called front desk and not even 5 minutes maintenance came by. I believe his name was Hernan? Apologies if that's not your name! But he was attentive and quick to fix the job. This is my go to hotel when staying in the San Jose area. I've never had an issue staying here and staff are always friendly. They do have a bar but from all the times I've stayed here only once have I seen a bartender. The breakfast is your basic hotel breakfast but they have a good selection. Honestly this will continue to be my go to. No complains. read more

I'm glad I booked this hotel. It is close to the freeway and the neighborhood is safe. Hotel is super clean and modern; a big plus for me. The room is large, modern, clean and has what you would need like a small microwave and fridge. Although I didn't use them but they would be handy for longer stays. Our room was a 2-queen and sofa bed room. It was quite large and everything was clean and new. Love how they try to conserve energy by requiring a room key to be inserted into a wall panel in order to use room lights. They don't provide single use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Those are in bottles and dispensed in the shower. Love that!!! They provide complimentary breakfast from 6:30-9:30 AM. The dinning area was neat, and clean with plenty of space on a Saturday morning around 9 am. Not sure about other days and times though. Food choices are: scrambled eggs, breakfast sandwich with biscuit, egg, sausage and cheese, oatmeal, bagels, toast, a few cold cereal choices, juices, coffee, tea, single bottled milk and yogurt. Happy to have a bite to eat before hitting the road. Parking is an extra $15 per night. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. read more

Found this new Hotel/Suites via Travelocity. Located in the city of Milpitas. Had a road trip going to Fremont and this was convenient for our stay. I'm glad I did made the reservations here. Located In a Tech industry and residential area. New and modern. Clean, very comfortable beds, big room for 3 people which can also fit up to 5 people. Check in was easy. Quiet. I noticed a lot of Asian Indian in that neighborhood. Mostly work for TECH, hey we're in Silicon Valley! I would recommend this hotel. read more

I am an elite bonvoy member have stayed at numerous Marriott properties but this one is the worst. I had prepaid for a king size bed suite and got a queen size bed and when I requested that instead I get 2 queen size bed suite, first was told sure that is possible by the front desk , and then the front desk guy went and talked to the property owner/manager and that guy refused to change it even though the rooms are available. Well, well, well.. where do I even start? I believe this hotel opened mid May 2022. Brand new construction. Few problems. 1. Soundproof is extremely poor. You can expect to hear your next door neighbors full conversations. Often, very awkward conversations.. You can also expect to hear walking sounds by good folks staying directly above you. 2. Gym. Past couple days I stayed, AC is always turned off. No towel, very messy and dirty. But again, it's a 2 star hotel. Don't expect much. 3. Elevator is extremely slow, and usually smells like weed. 4. Front desk is usually never manned. So, you have to awkwardly wait around until the person decides to slowly walk out from the back. Also, they look miserable. 5. African/American lady short hair, stubby working at the Front Desk... I believe her name is Melissa? Was working overnight shift and I saw her drinking beer by the fireplace with a guy friend? Boyfriend? Husband? While on-shift. Which was sorta odd. But! What made the matter even worse was her attitude when I needed amenities (Toothpaste) she stated they don't provide Toothpaste. Continuing on... Also saw her chilling inside Mercedes Benz SUV with the same guy - yes, yes, the front desk was not at all manned. Granted!! It was 3am. But dayum!!!!! Lady don't care. 6. Verizon Wireless. Expect 1 Bar if lucky. Usually 0 bars. 7. You'll also see housekeeping lady with tattoo on her arm just sitting on the couch drinking beer, playing with her phone, talking obnoxiously loud with her AirPods plugged to her ears (I heard her telling whomever she's talking to on the phone.. "this is an Indian hotel", and laughing obnoxiously..) Indian hotel? What does that even mean??, hanging at the bar area??... crazy operation. Allowing employee with uniform to sit on the couch by the bar and talk on the phone... that housekeeping person must talk so much that she has airpod plugged into her ear! Brand new property! All staff I interacted with were all great, the property is very nice, my room was soooo clean and beautiful. Everything you expect when stay at a Marriott brand hotel. Only complaint about my room is the USB ports were loose and my USB cord did not work when I plugged it in but when I plugged my power box and then plugged in USB cord, my phone started to charge. I did not use any other amenities. Didn't make the complementary breakfast but the breakfast area is very nice and there is a bar as well (not sure of bar hours) 3rd floor has an outside lounge area (posted pic) Guests who were out there were all super loud. It wasn't affecting me but may affect guests who are trying to sleep. Property should consider closing time for this area because noise echos. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay! I've stayed here a few times these past few months.. staff is nice and welcoming, it's a huge, beautiful hotel.. but I stayed here a few nights ago and was shocked to find a dirty towel in my bathroom. I was about to shower and pulled this towel down from the glass shower door when I noticed this.. blood or rust? Not sure what it was but it was disgusting and made me question the cleaniness of this hotel. I should have said something but I hate confrontation. I wound up driving to a nearby store to buy a towel and threw the ones in the bathroom on the floor. I will not be returning. read more

Booked out rooms for company event, and Byron was very helpful and was able to accommodate all of our needs and in such short notice.

No electricity and they can't do anything to bring it back,Bonvoy marriott ELITE member used the stairs from 5th floor to 1st floor.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean, modern and spacious. The rooms were quiet. Although hotel was full we did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms or hallway. The gym had sufficient space and equipment to get a decent cardio and free weight workout. The pool was on par with comparably priced hotels (not fancy or heated but I could get a few laps in.). The buffet breakfast could use more fresh fruit options; but there were plenty of options. The staff made our stay so welcoming the hotel warrants a 5 star rating. Both Marcos and Noah at the front desk employed exceptional customer service skills. They were helpful, responsive to every need and ensured our stay was memorable. We will definitely be back when in the San Jose / Milpitas area! read more

My son left his iPad in the room, we were able to come back a few hours after checkout but the iPad disappeared. It took multiple phone calls but ultimately they found the iPad and will be shipping to us. Happy to see this resolved and our stay was great. read more

I am a Gold Elite Bonvoy Member. Never had the issues I experienced at other Bonvoy Hotels. Requested housekeeping, they never came. When we complained, housekeeping said we put the "do not disturb" sign up. Lies! Because I made sure it was off when we left and also confirmed it was not on my door when I came back to the room. Was told they were out of toilet paper and could only have one roll until a new shipment came in. Of the two times housekeeping came, they forgot to clean the shower and didn't refill our empty tissue paper box. Housekeeping also took our electricity card to turn the lights on and had to use another card. The pool's ADA chairs were not secured at the pool. They kept swinging back and forth potentially injuring people. When asked to have it secured we were told the maintenance staff does not work on weekends. The gym had no towels. Oh and also, there was no internet when we checked in. It started working 3 days after. Couldn't get on to my work meetings. read more
