I messaged them to ask when a prescription I had ordered two weeks ago might be in. It's not an uncommon prescription so if having to back order it was an ongoing issue, they likely would be able to say "on average it seems to take X amount of time to get this is." Or, "I will call our supplier and find out." Instead I got a snarky phone call saying they didn't know and it's "out of their hands." I wasn't blaming. Just asking. And my thoughts turned to little confused elderly people who may have the same question. What if it's an important medication and they have run out or afraid of running out? That could be pretty scary to them. For me, if I don't take this prescription I usually end up in urgent care so obviously I was concerned. I was able to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy and got it the next day. And it was challenging to do because the new pharmacy couldn't get CVS to do their job and transfer the prescription. I really wish CVS would do a better job. Customer service seems to be a lost art. And while I can navigate the "system", older people can't. They need a bit of compassion and someone at least trying to help.

But on second thought, it was better than someone else shoving a q-tip half way to my brain. Made the appointment on the app. Drove to the drive thru. Got to the window. Verified my ID. Got the test. Inserted q-tip 1/2 in (NOT UP - don't want to lobotomize myself). Placed q-tip into vial. Returned vial. PAU. Service was efficient and friendly.

My boyfriend was not too thrilled at the idea. My order was ready in less than an hour. Walked over to the store and stopped at the photo Dept. Gave them my name. The lady gave me my order and she was friendly too. I was in the store for maybe 2 minutes. I wish my local Walgreens store was well run like this location.

I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). I return here for the location only, but I wish for a more consistently cordial (if not friendly) and efficient experience.

To start, this area of Madison is not the best, so the exterior/parking lot stays scattered with trash and litter, and it is normal to be accosted by folks walking or out. This is no fault of the store itself, but just a heads up. The interior of the store has seen a revamp in the past few months with the update of the HealthHub first, followed by the front register area and now the updates are starting to hit the actual store and pharmacy, which is great. HealthHub has been hit and miss with service. Appointments are required, but have no real impact on your wait or seen time. The nurses are not exactly friendly. It is weirdly very transactional, but I guess I can understand when they see a constant flow of folks for all types of stuff. After my second visit to the HealthHub, I actually chose to get me a primary care physician as I couldn't do it another time. This location is my primary pharmacy and I will say that the pharmacy is easily 5 star for me. The pharmacists are always great, I love the messaging system for prescriptions and enjoy the ease of getting any needed vaccines. Overall, not the best CVS, but I am happy with the pharmacy.

The wait at the pharmacy drive-thru was minimal, and the pleasant pharmacy employee walked me through the whole procedure with grace and good humor. Within two hours the results were emailed to me. There was no charge for anything during the process. I'm not sure there has ever been an experience more deserving of a five star review.

One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. My latest visit was after a PT appointment in search of some tape and braces for my elbow. I found what I was after tape wise, and while they had a brace, it was a bit pricier than I was willing to spend. The store, interior and exterior, could use some TLC conditionally. Inside was clean, but the parking lot needs some attention. Service is okay. I wouldn't classify it as friendly, but neither rude. Somewhere along the lines of "meh". Overall, this location is a choice out of convenience. When needed, I don't mind swinging by.
