I messaged them to ask when a prescription I had ordered two weeks ago might be in. It's not an uncommon prescription so if having to back order it was an ongoing issue, they likely would be able to say "on average it seems to take X amount of time to get this is." Or, "I will call our supplier and find out." Instead I got a snarky phone call saying they didn't know and it's "out of their hands." I wasn't blaming. Just asking. And my thoughts turned to little confused elderly people who may have the same question. What if it's an important medication and they have run out or afraid of running out? That could be pretty scary to them. For me, if I don't take this prescription I usually end up in urgent care so obviously I was concerned. I was able to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy and got it the next day. And it was challenging to do because the new pharmacy couldn't get CVS to do their job and transfer the prescription. I really wish CVS would do a better job. Customer service seems to be a lost art. And while I can navigate the "system", older people can't. They need a bit of compassion and someone at least trying to help.

But on second thought, it was better than someone else shoving a q-tip half way to my brain. Made the appointment on the app. Drove to the drive thru. Got to the window. Verified my ID. Got the test. Inserted q-tip 1/2 in (NOT UP - don't want to lobotomize myself). Placed q-tip into vial. Returned vial. PAU. Service was efficient and friendly.

I stopped to take a few photos and noticed they had a restaurant inside. I was pleasantly surprised with their healthy selections for the day. Vegetable stir fry over rice was delicious. Their homemade chicken salad is juts like my mom used to make. I ordered the chocolate shake and the sweet young server told me it wasn't your typical chocolate shake as it was dairy-free, made with soy icecream and oat milk and their own homemade chocolate syrup. At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco,and Denver.
