What a find!! Charming restaurant in Galatin away from the chaos of Nashville. The restaurant is an old renovated farm house with seating in every room. The staff is great and parking is ample. The lunch menu has a variety of salads and sandwiches, all fresh and each dish served with a chocolate covered strawberry. They had pretzel salad on the menu!!!! My grandmother used to make that and I've never seen it in a restaurant!! The food was delicious!! Will definitely be back!

What a cute little lunch spot! Beautifully decorated and inviting, set in a little house back off the road in Gallatin, the Chocolate Coveted Strawberry is the perfect place for a ladies lunch or to grab a bite with a friend. The menu primarily consists of soup, sandwiches, salads, and sweet treats. My pizza sandwich was delicious with plenty of of meat and served with chips. I added the broccoli pasta salad and it was just delicious. I also love that a chocolate covered strawberry accompanied the meal. It was the perfect amount of sweet to end with. Our only small complaint is that the restaurant was a little loud (my dining companion wears hearing aids), but other than that, it was a perfect visit.

The Chocolate Covered Strawberry is so cozy and cute! The sandwich I got was sprinkled with powdered sugar and it was very sweet while savory and was delicious! Most of the meals come with a chocolate covered strawberry as well as a treat for your meal. If you want a great brunch I couldn't recommend enough here!

My wife has been telling me to check this place out for awhile now but since they are only open lunch hours it can be difficult to make time to do it. However, I just moved my business 4 minutes away at the first of this year so popping up for lunch is painless. I came here on a Monday around noon & it was very busy. Probably didn't help that was a holiday & schools were out. My party of 3 was seated immediately though. There were a lot of young kids here with their parents & the small seating room we were in was rocked throughout our meal by the shrill screams of one large family with about 3 children all under 7 from the looks of it. The tables closest to them had to be irked even more than we were. Despite this hindrance, the aesthetic of the place was southern chic & very cozy. After waiting a while we got our drink orders taken & then after another extended wait we were able to order our food. The wait to order drinks & food was much longer than the time it took to wait for the food. I tried their homemade strawberry lemonade which I would never normally get & it was pretty damn good. It was not overly sugary and tasted like straight crushed strawberries, light sugar & water. I chose the Cobb sandwich with one of the soups of the day (Alfredo). The sandwich was impressive & nice to look at as well. For what they charge here you definitely get a good value. The soup was good & unlike anything I can think to compare it to. Maybe like a thicker rich homemade chicken noodle but very creamy. On top of all of that you get a nice big chocolate dipped strawberry with your meal. Even though we were all full from our sandwiches & soups we chose to share a strawberry shortcake & it was EXCEPTIONAL. Without a doubt the best I've ever had. I can't explain how good but can only encourage you to try yourself. Everyone was nice here & the food was good. It just took a long time to get in & out & the loudness of the seating situation could have ruined it for some people. Looking forward to trying some of their other items.

Went on a Friday at noon, they were busy but was seated quickly. It's a really amazing old house and property and that was the most astonishing part of this place. The mimosa choices were great and I got the blushing one which had some grenadine in it. Service was excellent but the food was all just food from a deli...it's definitely a bakery that wanted to have a lunch service so just got some turkey and ham, nothing special. Got the turkey BLT (+ cheese) and it was fine. The side they give you is a tiny bag of lays chips. The other person in my party had the quiche which she did enjoy. At the end of the meal I went to go get something from the "bakery" upfront to bring home and there was nothing there (they were open for 2.5 more hours) For the beauty of the building and the ambiance you would expect something a little more. Not planning on going back. 5 stars for the setting and service, 1 star for the food.

The ambience is incredibly charming. Little items for sale throughout. The dining rooms are in the back. I was immediately seated and helped during lunch. I am into trying new things lately and the waitress recommended the Chopped and Topped Salad. It came with a slice of moist and delicious carrot cake and a chocolate covered strawberry. Both incredible. The salad itself was just a mouth party. I shy away from "sweet" salads just seemed like it may overwhelm my senses. This salad was just wow! The dressing really compliments the ingredients and the chicken salad was so tasty. The service was on point throughout and it was a very cozy, relaxing environment. I'll be back for sure.

Great service. Cute and unique venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Can get very busy on on weekends and often has a wait. Daily soup specials. Small cocktails menu.

I absolutely adored my stop at this cute cafe. They offered light bites, and it was clear that the ingredients were very fresh. I got a croissant chicken salad sandwich plate. It came with a bag of potato chips, and their signature chocolate covered strawberry. It was such a sweet treat to find on my plate. The service was great, so kind and attentive. We took a box of chocolate covered strawberries for the road. I will definitely be back, and would recommend it to others. It is the perfect sweet spot to catchup with a friend and grab a good bite. Sidenote: the strawberry julep is 10/10

The fruit tea and the Monte Crisco were hands down the best I have ever had as well as the chocolate covered strawberry.

I am a huge fan of Belk, it is one of my go-to's for clothing, which is why I drove 16 miles to this location, as I figured the drive, even out of the way, would 100% be worth it. Well, I was wrong. From the outside, which was dirty and worn, I could tell this wasn't the standard Belk locations I was used to. Upon entry you are immediately overwhelmed by the amount of goods on the floor, racks, shelves and literally everywhere it can fit. The shelves and racks were so packed, and not good packed or organized, they were just haphazardly jammed with clothing making browsing difficult. This was echoed all around the store from kitchenware to bedding and beyond. The shelves were so packed, that the merchandise, boxes and all, were on the floor. Once you got off the main aisles, you could barely maneuver without running into or bumping something off a shelf or rack...and help you both if someone was trying to pass you. In addition to the unorganized chaos that was the stock, I was shocked at the condition of the store. Carpets were stained, ceilings were equally stained and dirty, shelving was old and worn...just sad. Additionally, I am used to Belk having some of the best prices and sales in the retail space. This store offered very few sales and good priced items. To be fair, there were A LOT of shelves and racks with no price tags, so you assume the price on the item is the going rate. Service matched the feeling of the store. I walked by numerous associates, and not once was I greeted or assisted. When I did ask an associate a question on pricing, their response was lacking any positivity or helpfulness. Overall, awful Belk location. Breaks my heart to say that, but I prefer to forget this location exists for the brand.

The problem is the quality of clothing they now sell (former big names like Izod and Lands End) is very low quality products. Lands End you buy at Belks is not the same as the Lands End you buy online yet Belks doesn't tell you that. The low price should be a clue that something is amiss, but it looks like just a scam to mem.
