Checked out this new place of business today for the first time and seems to be a fairly cool place…read morefor an antique store. Definitely one of the smaller ones I've been in. Some of the things I really did like about this particular store was the fact that it did have a really nice lady who seemed to manage it or own it. She and the kids that were there with her were very kind which is always a win. They have some linen and body style sprays of some sort over by the counter and some pre-made spices as well as handmade old fashioned soaps which I thought was a awesome touch. I ended up buying one of the soaps that smelled really good. Overall layout and organization of the store seems to be really well thought out as opposed to a lot of antique stores I've been in which just kind of come across as a hodgepodge of stuff just kind of thrown about everywhere with no real thought in mind to the layout. Seems like they did take some time to at least put that in order which is great. Some things that are worth mentioning that I did note One of the things that I am often kind of blown away with thrift stores by it's just how expensive some of the thrift stuff can be and this store seems to be no exception to that by any small margin. There are some things in there that seemingly are reasonably priced as to where other things are not so much and at the same time they do have a couple of things in there that are actually priced substantially below market value. So it's one of those things where you just have to go in and check it out for yourself to see what kind of finds that you're able to discover. Another thing I noticed is that while a lot of the stuff was priced, probably because there are relatively newly opened store, there's a whole bunch of stuff to the back of the store that is not priced at all. I didn't really check on any prices because none of it was anything that I was necessarily wanting to take home right away as my whole reason for visiting was to check out what looked like soaps that actually turned out to be like soaps from some pictures I found online. But it seemed very odd to have such detail pricing on a lot of things but not all the things. One of my favorite things about thrift stores is sometimes you can find a really amazing gem where it was something that was probably really in demand from a long time ago but not anymore. One such gem was actually found during my visit where they had a CD-ROM for a windows program that wouldn't be able to be ran on any modern computer as modern hardware would not in any way shape size or form be capable of running such software. Yet there was for sale. Not that it's a bad thing because I don't expect technological stuff to be something that most antique shops are well aware of so it's totally okay but I just found it to be very funny. I always look at these as treasures as opposed to looking them more as a waste of floor space. One thing to note is while I was most interested in the homemade soaps, and did purchase one during my visit, I will say that the fragrances of some of those old fashioned homemade soaps are quite questionable. Overall I think this is a pretty awesome store and provided that the store is new, I overall was relatively impressed. I think if antique shopping is your thing this is a store that although it be very small, is very well worth the stop especially if you find yourself in the Hartsville neighborhood. There's tons of variety in here without a doubt and the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five is simply due to the fact that the back section had so much that seemed to lack pricing.

Very nice staff plenty of stuff to look at prices are f fear. I was a great turnaround with their…read moremerchandise stop by often. There's always no things.

Overstock Outlets are essentially liquidation/discount style stores with an ever-changing inventory that includes anything from furniture to diapers, trampolines, toys, coolers, and legit more. In our trip to this location, we didn't have a list, just a piqued curiosity of their current inventory. They had a good selection of indoor and outdoor furniture, along with a wide variety of household appliances, home decor, cabinets, storage bins, dining sets, mattresses, mowers, power tools and a mix of a few other random items. The store is in an old plaza and shows its age. The exterior isn't the most welcoming, but I will say that our experience inside was not what was expected from the outside. It was a bit better than expected. Service was friendly. The cashier/associate was helpful and available as needed. We laid eyes on a few things, and ultimately bought a smokeless wood fire pit that was around $100 after discount...which is a great price! Overall, this was our first time at this Overstock Outlet and while it may not be our last, we do enjoy their sister locations a bit better.
