I have been to this Walgreens twice. My first experience was wonderful. My second time was disappointing, as it was closed. Let's get to the positive experience first. This store is super close to the hotel where I'm staying. It takes less than five minutes by car. I came here to get some beverages. I ended up getting a twelve-pack of Diet Dr. Pepper. This store has everything you need. Fake nails? Yep. Shampoo? Sure. Advil? Yes. Sugar-free candy? Definitely. I was in the hair care section. There were two women getting hair dye. One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. If you do get the munchies late at night, you are better off finding a different place in case it decides to shutter early. (225) read more

I stopped in for some travel sized products that I abruptly ran out of and Walgreens was close by. The store was laid out well, pretty easy to get in and get out with what I needed. The employees were pretty friendly and helpful. The selection of travel sizes for items wasn't that great. I would think with all the hotels in the area and the proximity to the Nashville airport the choices would have been better to service those needing smaller items they may have forgotten, but hey I got what I needed quickly. Will keep this Walgreens in mind if I'm needing something similar in the future. read more

This particular Walgreens just lost 3 or 4 customers tonight. We all will be choosing other locations to receive our medical prescriptions. Whoever the store manager chose to run the pharmacy tonight killed any chance of us returning. Security was called and he was actually the nicest guy in the store. Trust me I work in the customer service field too; the folks in the drive through were treated like crap tonight. I asked for a shift manager, but apparently he/she doesn't exist at that time of day on a Sunday. I guess I will see him/her tomorrow morning then. Please know who you chose to work the closing shift of the pharmacy tonight. I didn't get her name, but I will never forget her face. I will see you at your opening hour. read more

I was there this weekend trying to pick up a script that the automated system said was in. They went over the insurance coverage and my out-of-pocket payment. They couldn't figure out the on-line coupon from the Trelegy website even though they're the ones that told me about it last year. After two days of trying, they finally figured it out -- and then told me that the medication wasn't there yet. I went through 2 days of this for them to tell me that the medication had to be pre-paid! WTF is that?! Plus, the staff was rude with all their eyerolling, etc. Then I was informed that they can't even give me an estimated date that the mediation will be available. read more

I went online and signed up for an appointment for COVID Testing. It said "Appointment Confirmed" and said to look for a confirmation email. I never received a confirmation email, so at my appointment time I went and just showed the employee at the drive thru a screenshot that said "appointment confirmed". She looked it up on the computer and said the other pharmacist "hadn't approved it yet" and told me to come back in 5 minutes . When I came back nobody was at the window , I sat there for 15 minutes and finally the same lady appeared and she seemed really cranky with me that she was having to help me. This store is NOT 24 hours anymore and they haven't been for awhile. When they were, it was lovely and they were very busy. I have tried to come here many times over the past year at odd hours and they are closed. There is always a slew of cars trying to get in because this is the only drug store in town that says it is open at night. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have used this pharmacy for 3 years. Never have I had an issue until recently. They're requesting refills on my prescriptions WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!!! I've called their corporate office, and I was told they would call me back. That was Wednesday and this is now Monday! And I'm still getting notifications stating my refill request has been denied. I NEVER REQUESTED THE REFILL!!!! SO WHY ARE THEY ASKING MY DOCTOR FOR REFILLS?!?!?! Someone needs to be FIRED! They said "the system just requests refills". That's BS!!! A computer isn't going request meds unless someone clicks a button!! Get it together!! Expect to hear from my lawyer involved because your employees are trying to get drugs under my name!! I stopped into this Walgreens specifically to go to the Vanderbilt walk in clinic located inside. I've been sick for two weeks and decided it was time to go in and see what was going on. I went in on a Monday about 10:35am, and was helped immediately! The nurse got me checked in and took my vitals, then the NP saw me right away. She listened to my concerns, did the exam and answered all my questions. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in need of a walk in clinic! read more

Updating my review of this Walgreens after nearly four years and upgrading them to three stars. I was staying overnight in the area and needed some cough syrup. Walgreens to the rescue. I was able to quickly find what I needed - and a bottle of OJ - and pay for it. It's a good Walgreens, even if their selection of souvenirs is a little limited. read more

Pharmacy is slow as hell. Pharmacist techs take their sweet time doing e v e r y t h i n g. If you decide to use this soul-sucking hell hole, make sure you wait at least 45 minutes after they tell you what time your script will be ready- otherwise you will be waiting there for it. Pharmacists are also pretty rude, my roommates and I have all been hung up on once or twice. Sorry if we call too much, maybe if we didn't always have to wait forever when we go pick up our scripts that should've already been ready, we wouldn't have to call to double check, and y'all wouldn't have to hang up. Not at all professional, trash pharmacy. The employees of the Donelson pike store have a skewed perspective on the return policy of walgreens. I've been told that I cannot return any o t c meds. They had not been opened and I had my reciept.This is the only walgreens location that has this policy.This includes vitamins,cough drops, allergy meds,and everything else considered medication including arthritis creams, saline sprays, or visited. Last week I tried one more return at the Donelson store. I was returning a unused, unopened,with receipt box of condoms.I was told that returning this box of unused, unopened condoms could not be returned.when I asked the reason why they couldn't do my return. The employee told me that was considered a 'Personal Product' and that they wouldn't allow sexual toys to be returned either because they would have been against someone's skin.Wow, I guess I've been in a coma I didn't realize walgreens Had gotten into the sexual toys market.what I learned: The employees at this store are rude, obnoxious, and obviously don't know the return policy. I can buy a fun toy for adults but you could never return it. Also you can buy asprin, butane sure it's what want because this store has definitely created their very own return policy. It is You can't return about 85% of anything from this store. Almost forgot. They offer extra condemnatio and interrogation if your receipt is from a different store. I hope corporate investigates. I don't want to divulge too much information about why I needed to go here, suffice it to say that this is a one-stop shop for everything you'd need in even the most bizarrely compromising situations. In one prodigal swoop I was able to get duct tape, rope, flashlights, OTC allergy stuff, batteries, nail polish remover, and lots and lots of aspirin for reasons I won't go into. They also have joint relief meds for after those long treks through the backwoods carrying shovels and ... well heavy things. Then there's sleep medication for when deep guilt and regret keep you up all night in cold sweats. So anyway thanks Walgreens! Went in around 11:30pm on 1/15/21 after arriving in Nashville for a vacation. The lady working the front register during this shift was quite rude. The first comment, I just brushed off and proceeded with my purchase. After the second and third sarcastic comment, I was convinced that she was intentionally being negative towards my family and I. I left not saying anything, but I regret not calling her out on her rude behavior. My two kids even noticed something was off about her. When driving off the parking lot, my assumptions were confirmed. She went outside the store to confront a homeless person and began yelling at him. This is so sad. What happened to the the employees that greet customers with a smile and a cheerful "Welcome to Walgreens!" This employee sheds a negative light on the company. read more

The store was clean and seemed new and well maintained. There was plenty of parking and east street access. It is a standalone building, it is not attached to other stores. It seemed to have been build with plenty of floor space, it did not seem cramped at all. They use a loyalty card system so notice there is a price difference potentially if you do not sign up for their program. I noticed they did have a selection of alcoholic beverages both cold and on shelf. I live in a state with more restrictive liquor license rules so this surprises me. read more

The pharmacy here really helped me out recently when I was about to fly out of BNA. I had forgotten an important prescription many hours away. It was 3:00am and I knew I didn't have time to go back home. The wonderful pharmacist found my prescription, had it ready in 15 minutes, and I was in my way. He even wished me "safe travels." I would give this Walgreens no stars if I could. They never have my medication ready even though I call it in or send it in on the app AND receive a text message and email stating it is ready. I have a serious injury and health issues and driving to the store and waiting are difficult enough to have to wait longer or return and come back is extremely difficult - not to mention it's just annoying and overly time consuming. It shouldn't be happening and is really bad business. Additionally, they rarely get the number of refills right and even if they do, they put 1+ or 2+ on the bottle and when asking for clarification they just repeat what the bottle says and when I ask 1+ what, they never have an answer - I need to know in advance if I need to call the doctors office as mine doesn't approve any pharmacy requests for fills - only patients. read more

This walgreens is open 24/7 including their pharmacy. They are right off of I40 and the parking lot is easy to navigate through and enter/exit. For me, this is very convenient because they are less than 15 minutes from me (Vandy). read more

If this store is still being ran by the same store manager from 2016 than it's a disaster. As a former employee i worked their from 2016 till 2018 as the graveyard shift lead. There is no security at night. Only the shift leader, pharmacist and one cashier. Its in a high robbery area so security is essential. The store manager didn't know how to run the store at all. She gossiped about other workers which got back to the person. She left long list's of tasks for the night shift lead to complete and would criticize you if it was incomplete regardless of the fact its only one of you at night. She'd let certain co-workers get away with things saying "that's just the way they are". What drew the line for me was when i got robbed while working one night. About a week later i got fired because they claimed i was stealing but didn't have any concrete evidence or video surveillance when i asked. after i was gone a coworker told me that the manager told everyone i knew the robber who robbed us and was friends with him on facebook. keep in mind the name of the robber wasn't known and i had close to 5000 friends, plus me and her weren't friends on facebook. she also said i stole from the safe and continued to lie. She went on to change the door codes after i was fired and telling other managers of other stores to watch out for me. She slandered my name and i wouldn't recommend anyone working there. As far as shopping there its a typical walgreens. they have a bigger variety of things because its a tourist walgreens by the airport. read more

We stopped in just to find a little make up. We found more than what we needed. The manager in charge or what seem to be a team leader was very sweet and accommodating. She made sure that we found everything we needed and helped us at the register. It's the little things like that that really mean a lot! Walgreens is very lucky to have her!
