This pharmacy is extremely slow and disorganized. But, the worst thing here is the lack of communication. Prescriptions go unfilled because the pharmacy fails to order the medicine after a prescription is received. Then, they do not contact you to tell you there is a problem with your prescription. This is not a one-off issue. It happens here all the time. The staff is usually friendly, but they can't seem to easily solve problems and they definitely can't do anything quickly here. This pharmacy should be avoided. read more

If you want to be consistently frustrated, send your prescriptions here. They are NEVER ready when the staff says they will be, and the girls working the window give attitude when asked read more

I never thought I would be leaving a Yelp review for a pharmacy, but Suzanne the pharmacist at this Walgreens location deserves one. This location usually tests my patience: long lines, short tempers, reps asking me to pull around and wait in line again, more lines, so much time waiting that I will never get back in life, and vibes that could use a deep breath and herbal tea. But on one evening, Suzanne appeared at the window and suddenly I understood what great customer service COULD be. Suzanne was kind, patient, listened carefully, and turned what had been a challenging day into one that ended on a genuinely positive note. You can tell she cares about people, which honestly felt like a holiday miracle. I was honestly ready to switch pharmacies right before this visit because most of the techs are just plain rude, but now? I will stay as long as Suzanne is here! Walgreens, if you're reading this, please give Suzanne the pharmacist a holiday bonus, a raise, and maybe her own parking spot. Five stars for Suzanne: a unicorn in the usually stuffy pharmaceutical world. read more

One of the closest Walgreens to my house; however, severely under stocked, looks so sparse - lots of empty shelves and reminiscent of a store closing. I got the last of a few items I could find and had to go to another store for the rest of what I needed. Getting in and out is always hectic due to the location and while their lot is okay, the entrance and exit could use repaving. Overall, would not recommend going out of your way to come here for something bc likely you may not be able to find it. read more

The pharmacists are unhelpful and uneducated. Instead of helping people in the line or over the phone they insist people come inside and speak in person. They refused to help me fill my emergency prescriptions and they had me holding over the phone for over 10 mins and they still insisted I come in person after that. I showed up in person and waited and still received terrible service. read more

The slowest and worst pharmacy ever. I was hung up on 5 times the other day after holding for over an hour collectively.

This has to be one of the worst Walgreens around. Can't imagine one much worse. Good luck ever getting someone on the phone. It's a common occurrence to call, sit on hold for 10 minutes, only to have someone just pick up and hang up the phone. My doctor called in a perscription on Saturday, on Monday it said it was still pending. I called, sat on hold for 10 minutes, finally got someone on the phone (minor victory!) who then put me on hold for 5 minutes and then came back and apologized and said my meds were ready. I immediately drove to the Walgreens and was told.....my perscription was not ready?!? I'm done with Walgreens. ESPECIALLY THIS ONE read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. I can never get my meds filled in time. I have been on hold with them all day today and I even got a call saying they were temporarily closed. Now they are back open but I can still not get a hold of anyone there. Terrible costumer service. I will be changing pharmacy's as soon as I can. read more

The 'Karen' manager lady with the glasses is horrendous at this location. The aisles aren't stocked, the employees are miserable, Store is dirty and the lines are always long. We honestly need a CVS on 8th Ave, Walgreens is consistently awful read more

Adding on to the lengthy list of poor reviews here... sat on the phone for over an hour with the pharmacy, nobody picked up, and I got hung up on. I needed a prescription. Really poor customer service read more

La Shonda was friendly and patient with me during the holiday rush at Walgreens. It was so refreshing to have someone like her providing great customer service! read more

I normally wouldn't post something like this, but due to the circumstances, thought it was appropriate. The Nashville style of dealing with Covid in phase 2 of opening has been varied. It seems like business are catering to their clientele more than following health guidance. I think that as a consumer, you can make educated choices of patronizing depending on your comfort level, however Walgreens is healthcare oriented and I would expect them to conduct themselves as such. This location isn't enforcing masks or aisle social distancing. At the register, the checkout rep removes her mask each time she bags an item, does not disinfect the POS pin pad between customers, and wasn't wearing gloves. Heck, there wasn't even a bottle of hand sanitizer at the register. When the local convenience store is taking health protection more seriously than the local pharmacy, it's worth pointing out the irony and potential risk. Might be better to shop here for delivery than to enter the store, or go somewhere else. read more

Jeff C., That's because they know that the whole masks ordeal was an attempt to instill fear in Americans by our government. And , in turn, scare American into getting an ineffective shot that pumps man into the hands of the top dogs in our corrupt government. See, here in Nashville, people are smart enough to understand that wearing a mask isn't going to prevent anyone from getting the flu. Thus, most of us don't wear them. If you don't like it, go back to New Jersey or California, wherever you came from. Capeesh? read more

Every single time I come here, I think to myself, don't keep coming here. The pharmacy is so slow. The people working here are slow and almost seems deliberate. When the line is backing up, they still just seem like they are working in slow motion. read more

I've had previous experiences here (pharmacy) that haven't been the best but I'll say I feel like management has changed recently or something. Everyone seems to know their stuff and is super polite and accommodating. This has now happened a few times in a row so I felt like commenting on the improvement. It's appreciated. read more

Don't go here for a covid test. I went last week and they mislabeled my test so I waited a couple days to find out my test wasn't even eligible to be tested. read more

The pharmacy here sucks. It seems like every time I'm simply trying to pick up a prescription there is always a problem, the line is horrendous, and the pharmacists are slow and look miserable themselves. Pick another pharmacy please! read more

The worst pharmacy in the area. Avoid at all costs. Extremely slow and inefficient. Nobody seems to know what's going on. Painful to say the least. save your time and go elsewhere. read more

THE slowest pharmacy. Highly recommend going elsewhere for medication. You'll be in line forever..

The pharmacist has always been friendly to me but it seems like they are understaffed and need more help. The service here is extraordinarily slow. It's the only drive through pharmacy in this area so we keep returning, but I wish there was somewhere else to choose from. Anywhere else. It's pretty much the worst possible experience each time I visit - but, they have always provided the correct medication so that is a plus! read more

40 minutes after appt. time finaly got a booster shot. A lot of runaround. If you have time to waste, this place is for you.

Terrible service from the pharmacy. They never auto refill prescriptions like they're supposed to and they're extremely rude. There's often a line of five or more people in the store and in the drive thru. Completely disappointed with the service I've received here. Will be switching to the CVS 500 feet away. read more

Among other problems like using Express Pay before the employees got the memo on how to deal with the transaction, the Pharmacy Tech shooed me away after finally finding MY meds, to help someone and started a whole new transaction with another person while she had my meds out flopping them on the counter I guess. THEN by that time, she was so confused that she gave my prescription to the person that she just told didn't have a prescription left to fill, so I guess she just thought she'd give her mine. Well, the customer luckily noticed that it was not hers and came back to the pharmacy counter. I'd like to thank that customer for bringing it back. This is horrible and I'm sorry I didn't know quite what to do when I got there because the guy in the front said go to the photo counter to pick up. etc...It was a horrible experience. Their website could do a better job of letting you know how to go through this painful thing they're calling Express Pay. My order (of three other items) AND my prescription were paid for online in the same transaction in Express Pay. Manager says I have to pay for my meds again. Wrong! Showed her my bank account on my phone. They continued to be rude. I left without getting my original receipt back because the tech didn't know where it was. How nice. I know they have been understaffed and I understand that. However, this was a bad experience. It is dangerous to give the wrong customer the wrong med. Just unbelievable. (edit: It should all be on the video.) (edit2: To be fair, I was at the Pharmacy just the day before yesterday getting a partial refill and had an awesome experience. I'm not sure what happened yesterday, to be honest. They are also still "adjusting" things on my credit card. That's scary. All in all, yesterday sucked.) read more

Update: After writing several letters to all the different authority figures, making phone calls, and staying on them in general, the manager contacted me, was EXTREMELY nice and apologetic and gave me a full refund. I go here all the time now. See? It's not too hard to say "I'm sorry" and it makes a world of difference! I went to the drive through to fill a prescription and spoke with Monique. I was first told it would be at least an hour before I could get my medicine. I had to go back to work so I knew I couldn't pick it up until later. I then asked her how much it would cost and she had me send in my insurance card. After a few minutes she gave me back my card and said my copay was $10.00; implying that was all it would cost me. To be sure, I specifically said "So when I come back tonight it will only cost me $10.00?" and she said "yes." I told her to go ahead and fill the prescription and I would be back after work. When I returned after work she got the prescription and then came to the window to give me a price and said it would be $53.30. Shocked; I asked her about it and she said the same price. I tried telling her that it was supposed to be $10.00 but she got rude with me, and kept cutting me off to tell me that she understood what I was saying but that I was wrong. There was no way she could understand what I was saying because she was too busy cutting me off. She kept shoving the prescription to the window to show me (not that I could read it) and then telling me to look at my insurance card at the copay suggesting that I was stupid. When I was finally able to get a word in I explained to her that I could read my insurance card just fine and that she didn't understand me because she wouldn't even listen to me. Then I told her that SHE told me it would be $10.00 and she kept being rude with me and insisting it was $53.30. I told her "You specifically told me when I was here earlier it would be $10.00" She acted like she could care less and just shrugged. In this situation what was I to do? I was sick and needed my medicine and it was late. I went ahead and paid and told her she shouldn't assure people a much cheaper price and then later charge more. Of course, she still didn't care. read more

It is a great Walgreens, but there is a creepy guy who works in the photo department (and sometimes other checkouts), and every time I interact with him he flirts with me in an unprofessional and downright obnoxious way. I've started avoiding the store because of him, and that's frustrating because it's my neighborhood Walgreens. He wears glasses and has brown hair that he wears in a ponytail, and is younger. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy since 08 and it has not been always a great experience. However, i heard they recently got a new store manager who is amazing! Ever since he got there, all of my needs and wants have been meet. Now, I go there all the time! Quick checkouts, photos ready when I requested, pharmacy still isn't to my expectations but I hope it will soon improve just like the store has. Amazing! read more

When I call in my prescriptions I get verifications via email that they are received and will be ready for pick up. When I get there, this pharmacy always says they do not have it. So, now I make sure I get the email, then call and speak to a someone to make sure they have it. When I get there...THEY DONT HAVE IT!! They will only fill it if I come in and wait, otherwise they tell me it will be two hours. Also, there have been several times that I have gotten my medications and it is not the correct quantity. They blame it on the new machine that counts the pills for them. Every interaction w this Walgreens is very frustrating. It's the only convenient pharmacy in the area, but I'm starting to think I'd rather go out of the way to not have to deal with them anymore. read more
