I work in the area, so I normally pop in here for small things to and from the office with my recent drop by being to pick up a few photos I had printed. The photo counter was staffed, which was a surprise honestly. He was nice and quickly gave me my photos. I went to the front to ring up, and the cashier was positive and friendly throughout the process. The store can be a bit of a mess on occasion, which seems to be the theme for Walgreens honestly. Always seem to be stepping over items or moving unmanned stocking carts out of my way. Overall, solid Walgreens location that I have no issues utilizing!

My Medicare Humana plan has not changed, but last month she told me my insurance does not cover that medication. She seems to be basing this on her experience trying to "put it through". it is "rejected". No amount of explaining my history with this medication matters at all. She will not do further research, although the Humana website clearly states it covers my medication. I was forced to move my prescription to another pharmacy, causing a delay in getting my medication. I ran out of medicine and had none for 4 days. That is totally irresponsible! Where do they find a pharmacist like this, with no critical thinking skills. And yes, Humana did cover the cost of my medication, as they have in the past.

I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! He did math problems with her as a distraction. I'm sure he's very busy, but he didn't rush her. After the flu shot I wanted to grab something from the store. I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.
