I told them my situation and said I absolutely needed it done the following day by the start of my party(1pm). The woman said that was not a problem and they scheduled me for the first spot on Saturday at 10am. I then got a call after 9am on Saturday saying they wouldn't be coming. Ridiculous. When I called for an explanation, the woman said "it's a crappy situation for everyone." Yes, I'm sure it's bothering you my windows are disgustingly dirty the day of a party? Last year I contacted every company advertising deck refinishing in all the NW suburban area home…read moreshoppers and mailers. One quoted an outrageous price, two quoted half the figure, and two promised to come out for a quote and never showed up. All had a number of poor reviews of their work on line. I held off getting the work done. This spring I contacted Pro Coat. Dave Marion quoted a fair price for the job, and warned me that he couldn't guarantee the old botched finish could be completely removed. He said his crew would test a small area and only if they could satisfactorily clean it, would they do my entire deck. His men arrived within the time frame Dave had estimated, the test cleaning worked perfectly, and within the day my deck was stripped, brightened and looking like new. A few days later Pro Coat was back and the deck was stained in an afternoon. Great care was taken to cover the side of the house next to the deck so no over-spray could get on the siding or brickwork. The yard was left immaculately clean. Alfredo did a great job of evenly and thoroughly applying the new stain to the inside and outside of the deck, despite the surrounding hedge making it difficult. My deck now looks like new, and the results were far better than I thought could possibly be achieved. Any future work I need will be done by Pro Coat, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

They moved all the furniture on and off for us and made it a smooth and easy process. Would highly recommend and will use them again when the deck requires re-sealing. Rudy carelessly was just spraying like he didn't want to be there. I stopped him and inquired about the bleach affecting my plants which he said he sprayed the plants first with water which I didn't believe. He asked if he could come back the next day to finish which I responded an unequivocal no. He left my place a mess. Needless to say, my concerns were spot on and my plants started dyeing and my outdoor light fixtures were discolored. When I reached out to him, he said, "I was hired to clean your house" and accepted no responsibility for all my plants and bushes and fixtures and simply said, "Jesus loves you." (huh??) He didn't even have his own hose and used mine. He said he was in business for 10 years yet ILSOS indicates the business was incorporated in '23 and Rudy is not even an officer of the company.... Buyer beware, this guy is lazy and a scammer!

The team showed up on time, worked carefully, and didn't rush anything. My siding looked almost new after the wash, and the windows were so clean it felt like someone removed the glass completely. The gutter cleaning was a big help too, I usually dread that part, but they handled it professionally.
