They made the whole process easy. I didn't need to contact USAA and they even took care of my rental. Also, I was ready to pay the extra money to have original parts for the repair but after quoting me an extra $150 or so they figured out a way not to have to charge me that at all. The only weird thing that happened was that my battery died, apparently because of the cold weather and not being started everyday. They gave a quote of $280 to replace and install. When I baulked at the price I told him I would just get a battery from Walmart. They agreed to let me do that and even installed it for me.

The A/C has been excellent this hot summer and kept us cool for the drive to my son's wedding. This is a great shop to visit. I've been to some auto shops that are little rough around the edges and I have not been comfortable waiting on a repair or service with my children. The McDonald's are a growing family and their children help out in the shop when they can. My young son enjoyed a short visit with them while we waited. John McDonald worked with his father on auto repair growing up, and he opened this business anew in 2024 after building his own shop.

They did a good alignment and got rid of a shimmy that another shop had just somewhat remedied with loads of weights. Best part though is that these guys are an honest bunch. Didn't want to make a big deal about it because I didn't want a shop catching flak over a bad apple but there never was one. It had blown out and an employee found it and turned it in. They kept it in the office until someone claimed it. Good work and good people. Very highly recommend.
