When i brought back the Fleetguard heater to pickup the Cummins one we measured the Fleetguard to be .0015 too small vs new Cummins one. They gave me the Cummins one without paying the difference in price ($10-$15 more) even though it wasn't their fault. Customer service was on point the whole time! My daughter was driving my equinox during rush-hour traffic when this part broke, making her brakes almost as hard as a rock, and she barely avoided a collision with a full gasoline, tanker truck, who knows how many lives could've ended because of this brake failure. The broken parts then made their way into my engine, completely ruining my engine and making my car in operable. I tried contacting Chevy, but they have shown me that they do not care about my situation or apparently the safety of their customers. There has even been a new class action lawsuit filed because of all the damage Chevrolet choosing to use this part has caused.

Further, they don't offer to help whatsoever when you walk in. They all are chatting amongst themselves and don't bother paying any attention to customers. I've literally had to interrupt them talking to each other to get any help. They all have a holier-than-thou attitude yet they can't even get parts ordered correctly, give no indication to customers when part orders will be in, require payment upfront, and it takes them until late afternoon to unload their morning deliveries. Does anyone actually work here or are you all paid to waste time?? They won't have the part you're looking for. They'll have to order it and they'll likely mess up anyway. I contacted the dealership on a Friday and spoke to Brandon a salesman, to confirm the vehicle was still on site. After getting preapproved from my bank, I set up a test drive for the following Day. When I arrived, I was given the key fob and told to enjoy the test drive. Once I returned, I was informed by Brandon they had received my banks preapproval the day before and he felt Toyota could give me a better offer, and it turned out that he was right. 2 % lower as well as several rebates. There was absolutely no pressure! He answered every question without adding any sales pitch, just answered my questions honestly. My truck broke down leaving me stranded in St. James this past Sunday. My wife drove 2 hours from…read morehome to pick me up and I left my truck on a business parking and decided I would research some auto repair places once I got home and have it towed someplace local to repair it. I knew from experience my Ford had experienced a blown out spark plug and I did a google search and found Daniel's garage in St. James. I called and spoke with "Bruce" and he assured me he would go take a look at my vehicle within the hour as I had left my keys in the truck and he would be able to start it and listen to the engine. His business was less than a mile from where I parked my vehicle and I told him I could have it towed or he could limp it into his garage. After not hearing from him after two hours I called to check on the status. He told me they were busy and he was just getting ready to send someone to look at it. Two more hours go by and I call again to check on the status and see if he had sent someone to look at it. His response seemed to indicate he had forgotten all about it and he again assured me that he was sending someone out to look at right away and he would call me back before they closed the shop around 5pm. STILLLLLLL no call and when I tried to call them at closing time, all I received was an answering machine. That was it for me and I called Hutchison Ford in St. James the next morning and had it towed through my insurance provider road side assistance. The Ford dealer called me right away when my truck was brought in and had it fixed and ready for me to pick up by the afternoon. So, to recap, if you are broken down and have to leave your vehicle in St. James avoid Daniel's garage. Horrible customer service and won't return your calls.
