Nice gel mani with little creative design

In my opinion, it really depends who does your nails, hit or miss. Came here many times to do manicure and pedicure. Seems professional but doesn't seem have many designs or options.

No complaints about my service here at all! Just moved in the area and was looking for a last-minute Saturday appointment. They took me in no problem. Got a basic mani/pedi. Started with the pedi with a very nice lady named Narcisa. Then a man came over and started the manicure while I was still getting a pedicure. It felt a little rushed, but honestly who wants to spend over an hour at a nail salon on a Saturday? I didn't mind it at all! The job came out pretty good. It's not the most perfect manicure, but unless you're putting a magnifying glass to my nails, then don't complain. I'm very happy with the service overall! Very nice people. Everyone was laughing the whole time. I'll definitely go back there!

So I wanted to love this place. It's very close to my house and it would be convenient to find a place close by. But the state of my natural gel manicure is in shambles after only one week. Within a day I had a nail break. These are my natural nails which took months to grow out. Now I have 4 broken nails and it has been 6 days. The nail polish didn't chip but the gel isn't stronger enough on its own to keep my nails steady and healthy. See the photo for your self. I'll stick to my Japanese gel manicures in NYC.

Ok spot for a quick Mani but 2 weeks later and my white gel Mani is peeling like a regular Manicure Feeling like I was duped and paid gel manicure price for a regular manicure. My gel manicures usually grow out before they begin to peel or crack

Update: Terry does great work with acrylic, SNS powder, and gel as well! The pedicures are so-so

Decent place to go for a quick manicure. Terry did my nails and was very friendly. The only part i didn't like was that they literally ripped off my acrylic nails when i went to get them removed. Wished that they had used some other method of removing the nails. The price for the acrylic nails was a bit too much for the level of service.

The place is super dirty, starting from windows and decor and finishing the stations. Instead of towels they wipe your lags and arms with brown paper towels which prob were taken from Dunkin bathroom. They did not have begs to put into the pedicure station or gel samples. The stuff is nice tho. Lu was very nice but due of usage old materials, my gel manicure was chipped on the 3rd day! I went on Saturday 7/22 and today is Tuesday! Chipped !' already !!!!! It is the only place I come to get my nails done. To make this long story very short my nail technician was accused of putting acrylic on one of my broken nails... she did not. My nail was short but not short to where it needed saving. I had to show the owner my hands flipped over so she can see that there was no acrylic and she still didn't believe it. I was extremely upsetting considering I've been a loyal client and never had an issue paying anything. As to no surprise my nail tech is no longer working with the company. I love the nail techs here but truthfully the older women that work at the front desk suck! It should be embarrassing that as an owner I need to flip my hand over to prove to you something that was already stated by your employee and your costumer. Now I don't want to entirely bash the girls at the front desk because there are 2 young ladies that are extremely nice and attentive to me when I'm there.

Zoila is always accommodating and her new team Diana and Sebastian are extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. I usually go by myself to get a wash, hair treatment, split ends hair cut and a blow dry with curls. I'm there not longer than 2 to 3 hours and that's including the treatment. If I only go for a blow dry and curls, I'm done and out the door in less than an hour. Last two times I took my fourteen year's old stepdaughter to get a hair cut, frizziness treatment and blow dry and now she only wants Zoila to do her hair (she used to hate getting her head/hair touch) now she won't go anywhere else. Make sure to book online and call the salon, if you can, to confirm.

I specifically booked a Botox treatment with Zoila, the owner of the salon, since her name was listed among other stylists in the booking app. However, when I arrived, although she greeted me and explained the different treatments, she did not actually perform the service. Instead, someone else with less experience handled it, and I could tell because they kept asking Zoila questions during the process. For the price of $447, I expected the service to be done by the professional I booked with, especially the salon owner. The final disappointment came with the haircut -- I requested a butterfly cut, which Zoila herself did, and unfortunately the results speak for themselves (see attached photos for transparency). Overall, I left feeling let down and frustrated. When you pay a premium price, you should receive the experience and expertise you booked for.

The so-called professional, Pam, waxed and burned my armpit, leaving me in a terrible situation. I usually go to my trusted lady in NYC, but being in the Newark area visiting my siblings, I thought I'd give this Brazilian salon a try since I was desperate for a quick treatment. Little did I know, it would turn into a nightmare. From the beginning, I should have realized something was wrong when Pam didn't bother cleaning the area before applying the wax directly to my skin. It felt strange and too hot, but I didn't say anything, assuming she knew what she was doing. I paid, left, and thought that was it. The next day, my armpit started burning intensely, and I couldn't even put my arm down. It turned extremely red and painful. I thought it might be an allergic reaction, so I applied allergy cream and hoped it would get better. Instead, it got worse with each passing day. When I finally managed to get in touch with them and informed them about my horrible experience, they were apologetic and suggested I traveled to Newark and pick up from them another cream. However, being in NYC while they were in NJ made it challenging for me to visit them again. I sent them pictures of my injured armpit, and they assured me it wouldn't scar and offered to reimburse me if I chose to buy the cream myself around the area to use it. Despite applying the cream they suggested, there was no real improvement. I decided to seek help from someone I trusted, and they confirmed that my underarm was indeed burned due to the salon's lack of experience and complete disregard for proper procedures. Frustrated, I reached out to the salon, requesting at least a reimbursement for the waxing service, but they ignored my request. I persisted in contacting them, but they left me on read. Finally, the receptionist (not the owner) called to apologize and offer me my money back. This establishment's behavior is deplorable, showing a clear lack of respect for their customers. They view people as mere sources of income, not as individuals with feelings and concerns. I strongly advise staying away from this place. Even now, two weeks later, I am still dealing with the painful consequences of my burned underarm. It hurts, prevents me from working out due to sweating, and I can't wear sleeveless tops because it looks terrible. This has significantly impacted my enjoyment of the summer and the sun. Take this as a warning - avoid this salon at all costs. They are not worthy of your trust or your patronage.
