I went to this establishment today with two of my best friends and they both got seen to get their feet done and I had to wait until the next available person was able to do feet A random lady walked in and was told that she was next to get her feet done and that I had to wait and I said fuck that I'm not waiting you can take her that's not a problem but trust and believe I will not be doing my feet with you people today It's a little unfair that I went out of my way to go out with my friends to get our feet done and I was unable to get my feet done because they wanted to take somebody else. Mind you that lady didn't finish her full set of toes she went to work. She came back at 5 PM to get her feet done again to finish the progress That she started when they took my appointment away from me. The owners of Plaza Nails only care about other people than the ones that are there waiting to get their feet done. No wonder why their business is slow because they probably do this to all of their customers. . I will no longer go back to that place and they also lost two other customers besides me . They are the worst owners in the world.... read more

I think the place is underrated. It's actually quite good and I'm glad it's in Harrison. I got my gel mani and regular pedi. Pedicure service was really good - very relaxing and nice massage chair. Gel mani was quick and cleanly done. I actually asked for recommendation and she came up with design that really suited my occasion! Price is not cheap but it is expected for this quality of work. Definitely call ahead to make appointment. The places gets very busy since many local regulars come here. read more

I just want to start by saying I RARELY write reviews. I came here often for pedicures which u actually have no complaints in so I decided to give them a try and get gel. It literally chipped in just a few days. Fast forward months later I had somewhere to go so while getting my pedicure u decided to try SnS which damaged my nails so bad. They filed my nails down so thin they started hurting. The last straw was when again out of convenience I went it for a basic manicure and my polish literally chipped the next day. There is no way they are using quality products. I called them and the owner said I could come up to correct and when I got there he was extremely rude. No complaints about my service here at all! Just moved in the area and was looking for a last-minute Saturday appointment. They took me in no problem. Got a basic mani/pedi. Started with the pedi with a very nice lady named Narcisa. Then a man came over and started the manicure while I was still getting a pedicure. It felt a little rushed, but honestly who wants to spend over an hour at a nail salon on a Saturday? I didn't mind it at all! The job came out pretty good. It's not the most perfect manicure, but unless you're putting a magnifying glass to my nails, then don't complain. I'm very happy with the service overall! Very nice people. So I wanted to love this place. It's very close to my house and it would be convenient to find a place close by. But the state of my natural gel manicure is in shambles after only one week. Within a day I had a nail break. These are my natural nails which took months to grow out. Now I have 4 broken nails and it has been 6 days. Very bad customer service, VERY RUDE! The man who did my nails rushed my manicure, he literally didn't polish my complete nail, he never had me wash my hands not once. Once he finished he politely let the other nail tech (who's above the other nail technicians) know about my nails and she was SO RUDE. Almost as if she was defensive with me because I told her he messed my nails up. I'm always walking in eggshells when I visit this nail salon because if you don't even remotely try to say you don't like something they get really rude, she even snatched my hands towards her to fix my nails. Horrible. I'll never go back. Even after she fixed my nails I walked out with dusty dirty dry hands and nails. NEVER AGAIN. read more

If I could give a ZERO I would. The worker Nicole is very unprofessional. They change their prices from customer to customer. My mother and I both got gel nail polish they charged my mom $33 and me $38. I guess they didn't know she and I were there together& I asked her why they charged us different, Nicole gave me this poor excuse of my nail being a little longer than my moms & it's an extra $5. Nicole got upset that I was asking for an explanation for the price difference got up and stormed off to the back. The staff is nice but.. I've come here on 2 occasions. Both times they told me I could come in only to have to wait forever to do my nails. For example, I am at the salon now. I came in for a fill in and had a 5pm appointment. It's now 6:41pm. I've ONLY had my nails removed. What's the point of setting appointment times if you guys can't take people at the appointed time. I'm not coming back here for sure. It shouldn't take 2 hours for an SNS. read more

Decent place to go for a quick manicure. Terry did my nails and was very friendly. The only part i didn't like was that they literally ripped off my acrylic nails when i went to get them removed. I went for just a fill & was charged $60, the man doing my nails cut my cuticle so harshly he had to stop & clean up the blood from my hand. Both the paint & acrylic looks so sloppy & uneven, & I had 3 nails break less than a week later. Today was my first visit and I got a fill and a gel pedicure. Everyone was welcoming and really nice, the store and instruments were clean. Nicole did my nails and she was very very thorough. I've already made my appointment for two weeks. Highly recommended! Just wanted to say that I have absolutely fallen in love with this place. I'm really confused how a basic manicure and pedicure is $38 but they didn't even soak my nails and cut the cuticles, clean under the nails, and left bubbles in the polish and skin hanging off. I'm a man and I get my nails cut here, Mani and pedi. I am diabetic and need special care especially with my feet. I get ingrown toenail and they always do a super job of removing the ingrown nails. I have never made an appointment, just walked in . Of course you might need to wait a bit but that's to be expected, but Nicole or Terry will tell you how long it will be so you can leave to do something else and come back at the specified time instead of just sitting around. They are nice people and reasonable prices. The negative reviews that I've seen on here our petty nitpickers! read more

We moved from NYC Harrison back in May and since then I've been on a hunt for a new nail salon that could do a little nail art for me. Being an NYCer, I've gotten very very used to very very good nail art and with a new baby it's been hard to get out for a 2-3 hour nail art appointment. So after being completely disappointed by another nail salon in NJ, I actually just needed to get into a salon to have the old gel soaked off and a plain gel manicure. After soaking off, to my surprise, Terry asked me if I wanted to do art or plain. Once she said art I pulled out my Pinterest board and asked what she could do. After a little discussion she started doing a "simple" version of nail art for me as they didn't have several of the supplies such as foil or holograms. However once she got into it - the other nail tech pulled out holograms and that's when it got real! In less than an hour I had gorgeous nails and a place that I plan on coming back to for sure! She is always so sweet and attentive and she gives amazing massages at the end! Terry does a fantastic job as well! The costumer service by the owner was awful, I think her name is Nicole. I asked her to not file my nails from the top down as they were super thin to begin with and she said "uh huh" and proceded to file the top of my nails. Also, she was in such a hurry she would pull my hand when doing my manicure. In addition, when my pedi was done she basically pulled me out of the chair to hurry me along. I saw her pull an elderly woman out her chair too. What the...??! I understand there are other clients waiting but physically pushing people out is not okay. Their instruments seem to not have been really sanitized as I saw her use the same utensils for 2 different clients!! The ambiance is awful too. They charge high enough and have enough clientele to update their desks and decor. They get a one start because the lady doing my pedi was great. Other than that go elsewhere! read more

I moved into the area recently & was worried about trying them out because I read a few pretty nasty reviews. I am SO happy I took the chance and went because I absolutely LOVE them! They are so friendly and make you feel very welcomed. I work in the fitness industry and use my hands and feet constantly and my gel manicure could push 3 weeks if I wanted it to and the pedicure holds up extremely well too! I didn't make a appointment I just walked in and got serviced right away most have been my lucky day because it started getting busy after I walked in... the messages are great while getting your nails done... I thought that I take a time on Tuesday morning and have a nice pedicure and gel manicure. Nicole did my nails in 4 mins and 10 second between the other client. If you want an express manicure with no care about anything than $35 plus tip - she is a perfect person. She did not do anything except cut, put a nail polish and put a hot towel at the end. I come back home and take care myself the skin around the fingers. Put an oil and .... I thought that I was the one, moreover, during my pedicure she did the same for 2 more clients. Great place for a quick manicure. They have a promotion from Mon-Wed (9:30-3PM) for a $24 Mani Pedi. Super attentive staff and service - hot rocks, leg scrub during the pedicure and back massage while your nails dry included. Only downside is that I had a broken nail fixed with an extension for $5 which was a little expensive but worth it, since it was nicely done and natural looking. read more

Came for a standard mani/pedi and it felt rushed and poorly executed. The woman who did my nails didn't even clean or soak them. Then she was rushing with my cuticles, cut me and acted like nothing was happening as I was bleeding. She cut me so hard that it was still hurting a few days later. The pedicure was still okay. I just came here today for the first time. Nicole sat me down and I had asked for a new set, French. She says okay, $55 for crystal. Whatever, I said fine. She proceeds to deposit glue and acrylic powder until there's a glob on the tip of the nails. I ask her, what is she doing? She keeps saying it's not done. She finishes and starts bringing out the gel. I look at my nails and they are horrendous. I tell her that I'm sorry but they look horrible, I refuse to let her apply the gel until they are at least smoothed out. At this point bubbles are developing under my nail. I tell her I'm not paying for this unless it's fixed. Nicole then goes into a frenzy chopping my nails off and grabs my phone and wallet and puts it on a far table and says "HERE! YOU SIT HERE AND TAKE OFF!". I am shocked at this place. I really didn't expect this. I have never been so upset from a nail salon in my life. Now I need to go home and soak these off. Don't ever get your eyelashes done here!!!!! I was charged $99 for 5 eyelashes that fell off when I got home. Super disappointed and upset. As a treat, I allowed my 14 yr old daughter to go get tips done with her friend and her friend's older sister. Long story short, $30 later she gets a plastic tip glued on with some filler in the crease of the plastic nail and the cuticle...Nothing on the tip of the nail! No powder, no acrylic...3 nails cracked the next day..I called to complain and was told these are 'temporary nails'. Needless to say, I laid it on her. I went there this week and got there early enough. I asked first things first if they had time for a fill and pedi. The lady (I believe owner) that sits at the first chair said yes we do just pick your color. She ripped off 2 nails that just needed a fill and I didn't think anything of it. I figured she will just put acrylic directly on my nail since it's long enough anyway. Not the case. She said do u want color gel I said no just gel top coat. She said ok it's $5 extra. I was ok with this. I said so how much will my total be again today for fill+pedi+gel top coat. I assumed about 40ish more or less considering the fill is 20, pedi is about 15 or so and the gel coat. She said 55 bc she had to repair 2 of my nails and that's 5 each. I kept my cool and decided not to say anything because it was my 1st time there. I asked her to add 10$ extra to my $55 tab so I had enough money to tip bc it's cash only. Which I didn't know since it was my first time there. She said not a problem. I was happy about that until she came back without the extra $10. She pocketed $5 on her own for tip and handed the pedi person $5 without asking. Let's just say I'm never going back. Not even 5 mins after leaving the salon 4 of my nails smudged. Gel color/polish/top coat NEVER smudge if they're under the UV light long enough and done right.
