Raggedy deli. You'd want see the rude woman sitting there stuffing her face in the empty deli.

So rather than have my food delivered I decided to get up and go support this local bagel spot. I had my 4 lb puppy in my arms who was sleeping as I walked through the door of the empty "deli". I was "greeted" by a woman sitting at a table stuffing her face who mumbled something about no dogs. Hard to understand her with her mouth full of food. The place was empty at 9:30 am but she said no dogs. Wow ok. This is why I prefer delivery. Local businesses wake up. You're losing business because people have more options with delivery and we can avoid your rude workers. But yet every business begs you not to Uber. But then they do this. Smh. Sad.

Service is quick. I was in and out with my egg and cheese bagel in less than 5 minutes. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a items on the menu that will keep bringing me back here should I ever skip breakfast at home and need a bite to grab before work. Plain bagel was good, egg was yummy and the cheese seemed to Yellow American cheese. Usually bagels can be overwhelming and I end up eating only half but the bagels here are good enough to just eat on its own. Definitely added to my list of to-go's for a quick breakfast.

Average Bagels. Can't really compare to New York Bagels.. 6-7 different cream cheese flavors. Interior has the feel of a new york bodega though. made me miss NY bodega sandwiches once I saw that they carried boars head meat (I've favorite cold cut brand) People who works here are nice but just scary looking and intimidating. BUT they were nice. didn't give an attitude or anything. 1- Egg: super soft. tasted like a plain bagel could barely tell the difference 1- Pumpernickel: needed to be toasted because it was a little too hard. with lox spread and it was good. Had better.

I have had better bagels, but most people won't make the trek to Fair Lawn or Teaneck for a bagel. It's about standards. I'm very careful about choosing the food I eat. I'm not a freak for organic or a vegan or anything remotely close to that. But I do like eating the best food possible. This is why I yelp. I want you to know where to find the best, so long as you don't mind doing a little driving. Plaza Bagels is strictly a locals shop. It's not worth the drive if you live in another town or don't work in the area. It's all standard fare here. Prices are average and so is the selection. Parking can be hazardous depending on how fast drivers feel like getting through the parking lot. Seating is minimal. You won't get food poisoning or anything like that but you won't leave with a smile on your face either. On to the next...

This is a great place in Hackensack to have breakfast or quick lunch!!! I have been coming here for 2 years already and the food is always fresh and delicious! You always see the same people working and they are nice and friendly! Busy around 12-2pm but they quick serving!!! Price very affordable comparing to dinners around the area and portions and sandwich are always big!! Great place overall and convenient location with plenty of parking!!!

Too much pepper and burned wheat toast.

The slowest workers. 2 people ahead of me, literally in line for 15 minutes and no service.

Bagels are bready and coffee is like from a street vendor. Staff is stiff. Tables have crumbs. Generally not too clean

Been going here for 15 years. Is the food the very best? No. But, it's damn good. Prices are good and the employees are great.

There's no need to worry about street parking because they have a small parking lot up front. I stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon, craving a breakfast sandwich. Yes, I eat breakfast after 2pm... shoot me! The ambiance is a little more "elevated" than your usual deli. It's bright, clean, and modern with a good amount of seating. They also have wifi. I can see this also being a study/work spot during off-peak hours. They have a large variety of both breakfast and lunch options - bagels, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, burgers, salads, and savory sandwiches. Additionally, they also have tea, coffee, smoothies, and juices. What makes them stand out are their artisanal bagel flavors and gourmet cream cheese spreads. They have a lot of unique flavors, both sweet and savory. I ordered: *2 Eggs, Cheese and Meat Breakfast Sandwich ~$7 - I got mine with taylor ham and salt/pepper/ketchup on a toasted everything bagel. This was a satisfying and hearty meal! The bagel crust was crispy, while the interior was dense, fluffy, and chewy. The taylor ham was smoky and salty, which paired well with the creamy cheese and eggs. *Iced Coffee with milk & sugar ~$4 - The coffee was just okay. It was on the weaker side. A little too much milk. The service was friendly, welcoming, and quick. The employee let me sample a few of their cream cheeses. I also got to meet the chef, Miguel, who told me more about the business! I'll definitely be returning to try their artisanal bagels... I have my eyes on the french toast and parmesan ones!

We ordered a classic sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and this time, I also wanted to investigate their bagel game. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it took just a few bites to remind this newly transplanted Southerner that bagels in the Northeast are in a league of their own. Food comes out fast. We both watched admiringly from our tables as the short order cooks moved like tornados at the grill, furiously beating bowl after bowl of eggs to fulfill the counter endless string of orders. That's another thing. During the whole half hour we dined at a table, things never quieted. As soon as a table cleared, someone else would grab it right away. Over the years, I've found that when in doubt, it's best to follow the crowds. On most Saturday mornings, it seems this is the place where all the crowds in Ridgefield Park are congregating. This breakfast spot is as local as it gets. As a lover of small business, I can't tell you secretly happy I get to see lines at the door here while the Dunkin Donuts across the street languishes.
