Food They offer a wide selection of coffee drinks, and a specials board had several interesting December offerings. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte with a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra frothy foam. My friend got a black coffee. The London Fog was very good. Not too sweet, and the texture and foam were spot on. I would have liked it in a ceramic mug, but they do not offer those. There was a small selection of bakery items. We each picked something up. The owner recommended the Banana Coffee Cake, so I went with that, while my friend chose the Chocolate Chip Muffin. The coffee cake was excellent. Moist, great texture, and the topping had a nice crunch with nuts. It would have been even better warmed just a bit. Definitely something I would order again. Service We received a super friendly greeting as soon as we walked in. There were a few other people there, but it took no time at all to get to the counter and place our order. We took our bakery items to a table in the back, and my London Fog was brought out after it had been properly steeped and finished. Atmosphere I wasn't sure what to expect. The photos online don't really capture how many relaxing seating areas there are. When you enter, you are almost immediately at the counter, with a few small tables near the front and lots of natural light coming through tall windows. A hallway leads to the back, which opens into a larger space with several seating options for small groups. It has a nice, chill vibe. Other guests were having quiet conversations, which added to the relaxed feel. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with what this place has to offer. Great coffee, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. I would love to see a few more standard bakery items, like a morning bun or scone, and ceramic mugs for hot beverages would be a nice touch. I would definitely make a point to stop in again.

Well, I would call this almost a "perfect" coffee shop experience (read to the end for my very…read moresmall complaint). Been here several times before and it has always been a very good experience. This time came with a friend on a Wednesday morning. The place is cute with plenty of character. It's a converted bank and still has a vintage/old-time feel to it. Big windows in the front. There are doors in front, or the rear, with an outside patio area. Inside there are plenty of places to sit, ideally for groups of 2-4. Parking on the street, or they have their own lot in the rear. Got a super nice, genuine smile and greeting from the barista. Ordered a London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). They didn't have any scones, so I ordered an amazing looking Morning Bun. Got the drink in a china mug, and the morning bun warmed up. Both of these items were made perfectly (maybe I am being to hard on this whole scone thing !) The place was busy, and there were people coming/going the entire morning (we were there for nearly 3 hours). Everybody was having quiet conversations, so it was easy for us to talk. And even though it was rainy/overcast, the big windows brought in plenty of sunlight. Definitely a place that I would recommend and return to. Now if they served a "real" scone that would be simply incredible ;)

I did the Lucky Charm and yum was it good! Small inside but plenty of places to sit. Could easily grab coffee and walk by the river in the summer. They had breakfast sandwiches. Big unexpected bonus? They have a drive through. It seems like an odd thing to glorify for a coffee shop that focuses on quality--but this was really a big plus for me at the time. I had a colicky baby in the car and the idea of getting him out of a car seat and back into it again made me not want to leave the house all that often. Being able to drive up to grab some delicious (non-Starbucks) coffee that reminded me of the good old days in Austin was such a huge mood booster. The moon milk sells itself. It's super sweet, so if you don't want it to be too sweet, I usually ask for 1/8 moon (1/4 is on the menu, and it's still too much for me). I do wish it was in a more convenient location. It definitely feels suburban and like it's just in a random strip, but I'm also not all that familiar with in Kenosha. Hooray for Summermoon in WI. Now I have a reason to make a pit stop on my way to Chicago.

Looking it up online I discovered it contains oat milk, which a good percentage of celiacs, including me, cross react to. The moon milk is a "proprietary blend" they say has no allergens, but oats, rye, and barley are not considered allergens, but are not tolerated by celiacs. No way to know what their secret ingredients are. My fault for not asking The in store menu did not indicate this had oat milk. I assumed it was just milk.

They've always treated me well when I came in, and that means a lot. It never felt like I was just another order or another number. I was treated like a person, and that kind of thing sticks with you. What I always appreciated most was the atmosphere. It was a place I could go, sit down, relax, and just enjoy being there. That kind of environment is rare, and a lot of that comes from the way Brittany and Dan run the place. They make people feel welcome, and they do it in a genuine way. Good coffee matters, of course, but good people matter too, and Just Brew It has both. I've always been grateful for how kind and warm they were to me, and I'm happy to leave them a great review. They did a good job with all of them. The London Fog was steeped nicely and had very good flavor. It was a little on the sweet side, so next time I'll ask for less lavender and vanilla flavoring, maybe half as much. It was served at a good temperature, around 150°F. The Mocha Latte was also very good, with a nice chocolate flavor and a decent amount of froth. I thought it was slightly on the cool side, but my wife said it was perfect for her. The Coffee Cake was excellent: moist, buttery, and loaded with cinnamon. It was a generous portion and easily enough for the two of us to share. Couple of small issues. First, they only serve beverages in paper to-go cups, without the option of an actual china mug. I much prefer wrapping my hands around a warm mug while relaxing in a café. The other is that they have a pretty limited bakery/pastry selection. Would definitely appreciate the addition of scones, or croissants. Service: Super nice people working behind the counter. We received a sincere, friendly greeting and helpful guidance with our menu selections. One staff member even came out from behind the counter to help me carry everything to the table. The staff seemed to know many of the regular customers and were able to have friendly conversations with them. You got the sense that there was genuine appreciation and connection between the staff and customers. Atmosphere: It's a large newer space with high ceilings and plenty of windows. There are lots of tables that work well for groups of two to four people. Several other small groups were there during our visit, but the noise level remained comfortable and it was easy to have a quiet conversation. They also sell additional merchandise, including honey and maple syrup. A nice place that I would gladly visit again the next time we are traveling through.

What I don't like so much is the fact that there is no foyer at the entrance. When the front door opens, and if you are seated nearby, you get a blast of cold air. Not sure what they can do about that, given the fact that they are part of a strip mall.

Mismatched chairs and tables from the 70s, maybe older based on the prints. I feel like I'm the only one in here today that remembers seeing and using a LOT of this stuff when was younger! It's definitely unique and fun. There's a lot of little seating areas as well, like tiny conversation pits near the entrance. One in front of a fireplace looked particularly cozy. I noticed a couple shelves with items for sale, likely from local small businesses. It can get really loud in here, which is to be expected with the high ceiling and large open area. Unfortunately that also means it can be difficult to have a conversation with people at your table. I chose to visit for lunch since I was in the mood for something light and new to me. What I did not expect was to leave still hungry. I ordered the equivalent of a caprese sandwich, however the tomato slices were so thin, the cheese sparse, and the pesto was almost nonexistent - if not for the green stain on the bread, I'd have thought they forgot to even add it. Definitely not a sandwich worthy of the $13 price tag. No complaints on the drinks. I wouldn't mind stopping in again sometime for coffee, but if you're hungry for more than a bakery case item, you may wish to go elsewhere.
