This time came with a friend on a Wednesday morning. The place is cute with plenty of character. It's a converted bank and still has a vintage/old-time feel to it. Big windows in the front. There are doors in front, or the rear, with an outside patio area. Inside there are plenty of places to sit, ideally for groups of 2-4. Parking on the street, or they have their own lot in the rear. Got a super nice, genuine smile and greeting from the barista. Ordered a London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). They didn't have any scones, so I ordered an amazing looking Morning Bun. Got the drink in a china mug, and the morning bun warmed up. Both of these items were made perfectly (maybe I am being to hard on this whole scone thing !) The place was busy, and there were people coming/going the entire morning (we were there for nearly 3 hours). Everybody was having quiet conversations, so it was easy for us to talk. And even though it was rainy/overcast, the big windows brought in plenty of sunlight. Definitely a place that I would recommend and return to. Now if they served a "real" scone that would be simply incredible ;)

It is not acceptable to short the customer for what they pay for. Note to the barista, when a customer orders a large latte, you have to add more ingredients for to the recipe. I asked the employees to rectify the situation and fill the cups. They did so but I got a poor attitude from the manager and the solution was to add more steamed milk which diluted the flavor. The end product was just OK. The place is cute but the ownership needs to hold the managers accountable to quality.

I walked right up to order (no line whoo hoo) and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally I asked if i could place an order and was told someone would be right with me. From there the young women behind the register chatted and didn't seem to be in any hurry to help. There was one busy with the drive thru, but besides that they didn't have much going on. Finally someone came up to ask if i needed anything. Yes! I ordered a latte with almond milk and to their credit they had it ready within minutes. And it was a solid almond milk latte! There weren't many others in this coffee shop this past Sunday, but there were plenty of seating options and the atmosphere is super cute. You may have to wait awhile to place your order, but besides that this spot checked all my coffee checkboxes.

It's well shaded from the trees overhead. Pro tip- the ride back is slightly downhill which makes it soo much easier!! The inside of the shop carries all sorts of gifts and gadgets made from local artists and they also have a food stand with some sandwiches and sides, along with ice cream from a local creamery!
