We ended up having to upgrade to the VIP lanes since the time we originally wanted was booked on the regular lanes. I'm so glad we upgraded because it was a more personal experience. We had 10 kids so we were given two lanes and had our own section. Stars and Strikes did a great job setting up, they provided balloons, cups, plates and napkins. When we arrived, Delanie (our amazing host) was standing at the front with a sign that said happy birthday Sophia, the sign also listed the itinerary for the day. They did such a great job communicating with us prior to and even during the event. The kids all enjoyed their burgers. They said the lemonade was really good but the sweet tea was not their favorite. One of the parents ordered drinks at the bar and said they were really good, nice and strong. My dad ordered beer and said it was surprisingly affordable ($5). Some others in our group ordered food separately and really enjoyed it. The menu looked amazing. If I wasn't wrangling kids all day I would have ordered something. Everything started on time, bowling started at 12:30, around 12:45ish they brought out the food. Then at 1:15 Delanie came and got us for bumper cars. After that at 1:30 was laser tag. After this we went back to bowling for the remainder of our time. Once our bowling time ended, we were able to move over to the tables near the bar and set up to sing happy birthday. After the happy birthdays the kids played arcade games with their preloaded cards. I ended up participating in the bumper cars and the laser tag with the kids and it was a blast. They also really enjoyed the bowling and the arcade portion. Overall this was a must do for a kids party or even for adult date night. Highly recommend booking vip regardless of the option you choose. Delanie was our host from beginning to end and she was amazing! She answered all our questions, was so patient, and always there when we needed her. It sucked though because the game card we had would tell us we won tickets and then when we went to the counter, the lady said the card we had doesn't get tickets. That was disappointing. They also have a bar and I believe a bowling area but I wasn't able to get a picture but from what I could see, it was really nice. Once the owner received the full payment (which was required prior to the party) all communication stopped. Prior to payment, the owner said she would be happy to work with the people at our venue to coordinate, but after the money was received she did not return any of their emails or mine. On the day of the party, I had no idea if the princess would show up. She did...late, but it was clear that the princess had no idea what she was supposed to do or what party package I had purchased (clearly, the owner had not even discussed it with her). All of the activities she was supposed to do (makeup, games, etc.) were actually done by the venue employees. The princess just followed along. The princess was supposed to bring a special hardback book that I paid $15 extra for and a "beautiful scroll" (which the owner had made a point to mention when selling me in her email) from which a proclamation about my daughter's birthday would be read; none of these things were brought. I made a dispute on PayPal for about 1/2 of what I paid, since I only received the services from a cheaper package. After the dispute was made, literally within 5 minutes and having not heard from her since she received payment, she started threatening me with a lawsuit...seriously, I'm not kidding. I recommend using any other princess company. They will certainly be more professional, customer oriented, honest and emotionally stable. Oh, and yes, my credit card did refund me the disputed amount.

I believe the instructor's name on this one was Karen for the lighthouse. That was a tough piece. Karen took a lot of time with us. It was a two hour class, and I had no idea that it had already been three hours! She was so nice. In the end, I was also pretty satisfied with my lighthouse. :) Participants made an evening out of the class, too. Groups went together, and on the lighthouse class, I went on a Saturday night, several people brought wine and snacks. Lots of fun! The two pieces I did made for very nice Christmas presents I gave them to a good friend with whom I did a fall trip with that had the trees with the red autumn leaves and lighthouses. She loved them! I can honestly say that I am hooked! I am definitely planning to go back. There is another lighthouse piece that I'm wanting to do when they feature it.

I've enjoyed some of the art projects my family and I have made here…read more I've also enrolled my child in art camp--but I was very disappointed at what was advertised in the pamphlet, and what my child actually was able to make at camp. She did not get to make as many projects as advertised. I feel like most of her time was spent on coloring sheets--instead of on paintings and on crafts. It's too expensive to pay for my child to go to "art camp" and produce items she could have done at home. It felt like it was a bait and switch. I like the instructors we've had, but I don't like the direction the owner(s) is/are taking this company to make money. I will not do business with them again.
