We took kids there the other night and they had a BLAST! Lots of pin-ball machines! I do not recommend kids there after 7:00 PM. (Just my opinion). Food wasn't great, but the drinks were and the kids had fun. That's why we went. We will go again! Thanks!

Great food!

Best place for my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday! Great fun for guests from 8yrs old to 80yrs old Food was delish! The owner made us feel right at home. The manager, Rachel, was above and beyond helpful with our party. Be back soon!

I can't believe it took me this long to visit this place, but I finally did it yesterday. Let me tell you: it's fabulous and already one of my favorite places in Columbia. About 20 pinball machines, all well maintained; friendly, great bartenders; clean bathrooms; lots of places to safely put your drink down while you're playing; a diverse crowd where everyone is welcomed (even my 50+ year-old self); and a great menu (but we didn't try the food this time). We were very impressed with the range of machines and how well kept they are. I love it here!

Forgot the name but it was delicious

First time here and loved it. Will be back for a tournament sometime. Really nice machines matched up with a nice bar and atmosphere.

A Deadpool pinball machine that cost 4 quarters. I recommend the Stranger Things machine! Didn't get a photo of that one.

Let me start off this review with mentioning my own prejudices: I'm from Los Angeles. Now on to the review. *Check/Trust the lounge's hours on their website. Not on Yelp or Google* Visiting family in Columbia, SC my partner and I wanted to see what kind of fun activities Columbia had. I'll be honest- i assumed Columbia wouldn't have anything to offer. I know i was wrong and those are my own assumptions ( I'm working on it cut me some slack), but Columbia has a bunch of cool options with this spot being one of them! Surrounded by other trendy spots is this dope pinball lounge. When you first enter this establishment your eyes immediately dart around like a child in a candy store looking at all the pinball machines. What's more trendy then a place that sells alcohol and offers games? When you do come here make sure you bring ones, but note they do have an ATM. The spot does have that typical bar smell near the entrance when you first walk in but you forget about it once you're face first with one of the machines. The drinks were good. I forgot what cocktail i got, but i know it had Peach in the ingredients. So order that one. I'm not sure if it was a bug of a feature, but a few of the machines worked without quarters! So if that was a mistake hopefully the bar can fix it, but if it wasn't it then that's pretty cool! A lot of the licensed machines cost money so bring your quarters for those. A few of the machines cost 4 quarters. Overall can't recommend this spot enough for a cool date night/ night out with friends/ or a solo outing. It does give off that college vibe, though. I will most definitely check this spot out again if I'm in town.

Come. Here. Columbia was in need of this Barcade. To start, this place is everything you need for a fun night with friends or family. The aesthetic is just a good combination of modern bar and classic arcade. Big booths for groups or small table tops for dates. There are SO many different themed pinball machines to play from Batman to Monster Bash. The owner, Fred, stopped by multiples times to ask for our feedback and to check on us. Everyone was incredibly friendly, even the chef came to get our feedback. We stumbled in during the soft opening but this will be a must go when they open officially. Lastly, and most importantly to me, the food was GREAT. It ranges from homemade potato chips to samosas! Try it all. It's worth it.

This place was fun! The drink prices weren't that bad. Atmosphere was chill since I went on Christmas.

Great food. Kind staff. The pinball machines are well maintained! Unsupervised kid was not appreciated but not the fault of the place.

Upon entering the hostess informed us they were currently only serving the late night menu. We said no problem and elected to grab seats at the bar. There were several empty tables and a few empty seats @ the bar. However, the only two seats together at the bar needed to be cleared from the last patrons that were seated. We stood there for over 20 mins while Jacob continued to walk by never acknowledging us or the fact that we couldn't sit. When he finally cleared the dishes he just walked away, never cleaning the area. When he returned he still never greeted us or apologized for the wait, the mess... nothing. Jacob: What are you having? Me: Well hello... Jacob: Yea... what do you want? Me: Wow... ok. For starters can you please whip off the bar so we can properly have a seat. There is still food residue here from the last customers. ** we get a visible huff** He wipes down the bar and we proceed to order drinks, while he never really speak any more it's all via motions and body language. Amongst ourselves we check in with one another to confirm that we both were feeling very unwelcome. Instantly we decide that we will not be ordering anything additional and will be leaving after this one drink. Which is just as well because Jacob never returns. Someone , whom I can only assume was of a mangement status, asked if Jacob was helpful and we promptly and simultaneously said no and that we would like or bill. She shook her head in utter disbelief and disgust but then she also disappeared. Just so happened that Diamond, whom was on the other side of the bar happen to walk pass. She stopped and asked if we were ok after witnessing our frustration. We explained that we wanted the check and why we were leaving. She was super apologetic and closed out our tab. Her energy literal turned the experience around and if she would have came to our rescue sooner we would have considered staying. Thank you Diamond. Just A Note: Unfortunately, bad first impression because The Grand seems like it may offer a good time with the bowling lanes in the back.

If chaos had a happy place, it would be Frankie's Fun Park…read more We rolled in deep--pizza plates stacked like trophies, Coca-Cola cups multiplying faster than gremlins after midnight, balloons floating like they had their own agenda. The vibe? Birthday party meets family reunion meets "just one more ride." Food: The pizza was doing its job. Big slices, greasy in the best way, and absolutely necessary fuel before unleashing kids (and adults) onto go-karts. Nobody left hungry. That alone deserves a star. Party setup: Long tables, shiny tablecloths, balloons everywhere, and enough space to spread out without feeling rushed. It felt organized but still fun--like someone said, "Let them be loud, just keep the pizza coming." Go-karts: Listen. These kids took the track seriously. Focused faces, death grips on the steering wheels, living their Fast & Furious dreams. Outside track + night lights = elite combo. I saw confidence unlocked in real time. Rides & games: Spinning. Flashing. Laughing. Screaming. Someone always yelling, "WAIT FOR ME!" Another person waving at the camera like they're in a music video. Zero boredom detected. ‍‍‍ Overall: Perfect for birthdays, big groups, teens, families, and anyone who enjoys controlled chaos with snacks. It's loud, it's energetic, and it's exactly what it promises to be--pure fun. Would I go again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Already have. Would I leave with pizza grease on my hands and a smile on my face? Guaranteed. Frankie's understood the assignment.

This year specifically my husband and I went for my 23 birthday.. and it was phenomenal!! Due to the fact that it was on a Thursday and we went before 12 PM. It wasn't a lot of traffic going on so we literally did not have to wait at any game station. Instead of going to a worker yourself you're now able to go to an automatic machine and get your cards charged or get new ones. If you don't have any, which I find so convenient. They also have dipping dots machine if you love ice cream and want something new which I tried for the first time and thought it was so cool! To end our night we had burgers and fries, which I must say was a 10 out of 10 after running up and down and playing all of those games. Like I said, Dave & Buster's isn't new to our date night, but they definitely find a way to upscale the experience every single time we attend

Cons: Not a lot of balls when it is busy so people were walking up to others to ask to take their balls. When we got there, we weren't sure how many games we wanted to play and if we wanted to bowl 3 each to get the special, but the cashier said we could bowl whatever # we wanted and then decide later how to split it up when we were finished. We were litetally talking with her about the about the buy-2-get-1-half-off deal when she said that. When we went to check out to pay, a different cashier would not honor the special and said we would have had to pay for that at the beginning. The first cashier NEVER said that! I saw her afterwards and questioned it, and she said something like, "oh, yeah, you'd had to buy that before you started," and blew me off. I told her she never said that, and the rest of my party agreed 100%, and that she had told us she'd split it up after, but that didn't seem to matter. That's a bit of bait and switch action. Dishonest. We played 10 games total, 4 shoe rentals, and got ZERO discount, but should have gotten 3 games at half price. Also, they don't split a check by dollar amount, but by line item, which was also less convenient. Disappointing experience to have to pay more than expected and the cashier could have cared less.

I'm glad they have somewhere safe and healthy to hang out. It was a bit overwhelming for me with my two young ones. Not because of the older young kids, but there were so many people. The lines are long, and the majority of the staff is in a lackadaisical haze, like, hello, snap into it and get with it so you can move these people where they need to be. Make announcements about the waiver, have a line for those who need socks, and get people checked in and paid. Like, let's match the energy of the crowd. The bounce house is a nice feature for the kids. There are older kids in there hanging out, but they are not bothersome, nor are they rude. The small kids are running around having a blast anyways. I do love that there's plenty of seating for people watching their kids. The go-kart area is the coolest part, and my son loves it. They were closed for maintenance the last time we went, which was disappointing, but he didn't mind as much as I did. They issue helmets and let them go lap around a few times. It is fun and cute. The staff in the go-kart area is young, so they are laid back and will chit-chat, but for the most part, they are great and attentive and ensure safety. The trampoline area is interesting. It goes widthwise, and it is a lot going on, but it is a really good space. My kids enjoy it. I don't ever think we make it to the far end of the area, which is why I say it's an interesting setup. The arcade area is small but has a variety. You can purchase a card and play some games for fun and others for tickets. The birthday party area is upstairs, and it's pretty big. It is a fun place for the kids even if they have a lot going on.
