We rolled in deep--pizza plates stacked like trophies, Coca-Cola cups multiplying faster than gremlins after midnight, balloons floating like they had their own agenda. The vibe? Birthday party meets family reunion meets "just one more ride." Food: The pizza was doing its job. Big slices, greasy in the best way, and absolutely necessary fuel before unleashing kids (and adults) onto go-karts. Nobody left hungry. That alone deserves a star. Went with a large group of friends yesterday. This was the biggest one I've been to! We have one in North Charleston, SC but they have been closed temporarily. There were a lot options for people from elementary school aged to adults. You could bring an infant but not to participate, obviously. Did the go karts, the VR Carnival game, and A LOT of of games in the arcade. They also had several outdoor attractions that I did not participate in such as mini golf. They had several options for food to include fries, pretzels, fountain drinks, and pizzas Would recommend and return again! read more

It's nice to knw when your daughter is there playing laser tag (we were the only ones in there ) when the vest hits her in the head causing it to bleed AFTER a few sec waiting for employee to finish on social media after being told my daughter was bleeding, they calmly got up slowly walked to the door opened ot so we could give them there stuff back then I took my daughter into mens room to clean her up ...did that employee tell there mgr ..nope because after 20m of bleeding it stopped I had to ask for a band aid from food counter explained because daughter hit her head on vest , they got me a band aid then also asked for a drink for her water or anything they handed me a soda then told me a total by that point whatever my kids 7th birthday she's hurt upset thirsty paid for the drink she drank her drink then 20 min later we left was never approached by anyone or shown any type of feeling or concern by ANY EMPLOYEE OR MGR not even is she ok nothing ?!?I stopped and got butterfly stitches cleaned disinfected and butterfly stitched it up till I could get her into the dr next morning whom said if the job i did wasnt as good as it was then he would have removed and glued it shut ..so more than superficial..up till that point we loved going there all 3 kids always wanted to go there , since then we've never and dont ever plan to return if you go dont go the last 3 hrs b4 close they got better things to do than care for or about 4 of the 15 total ppl in there at the time read more

My experience at Frankie's Fun Park was short -- I stopped by on my way to the airport to get a round of mini-golf in before my flight (my goal is to mini golf in every state). Nonetheless, I had an enjoyable time on the course and thought there were some unique hole features I haven't seen at any other courses (e.g., holes build into an upslope). I don't think I loved the mini golf enough to rush back and play it before going to other courses in Columbia (or the state as a whole), but it's worth trying once. read more

I'm really not too sure about this place. It started off good when I first arrived. I went to the front and asked about mini golf and they referred me to the back. Let me mention I'm from out of state. I'm stationed in TX and my son was graduating Basic. His basic and AIT is at Jackson so on Saturday (at AIT now) he was able to go off post for the day. Back to the review...So before playing I wanted to put something on my stomach before playing so I ordered from the lil restaurant situation and all was good. We played a course and went back to get something to eat for my son before we left and my mom before she headed to the airport. This is where things got different. I'm standing in line and yes, a young lady was at the register on the right (I'm at the middle register) but she was messing with her screen and since she didn't call me up I figured she wasn't ready for customers. This young man that works there comes up and he says to me "you know this register is open right" initially I didn't hear him and asked him to repeat but then I replied "well she didn't say anything". By this time the register I was at was finished with the person in front of me and it was my turn to order. Her and the other cashier exchanged words (I didn't hear) but I told her "my fault, it looked like she was busy but if I knew she was open I would've gone to her" she took my order, gave me my number and I sat waiting for our order. 30 mins go by and no order so my mom goes and inquires about it. Come to find out they never put a number with my order and we left with no food but had to get a refund. A big inconvenience cause I didn't want my mom flying back to NJ not having eaten and having to pay for expensive airport food. Luckily I still had time with my son and took him to get a quesabirria pizza from somewhere else of course. I remember going to Frankie's Fun Park as a kid. It was awesome. It definitely could still be awesome, but could be amazing with a thorough cleaning and update. During our recent visit we only did the arcade. There could be more games, but there were enough to keep us busy for an hour (and my wallet). The staff were not sanitizing during our visit but hand sanitizer was available. The staff were friendly during our cash on of our tickets. As mentioned, we only did the arcade so I'm not sure how the food is or the outdoor activities. read more

Stopped in for a date night to play a round of mini golf. Never been to Frankies before and didn't know where to go to purchase tickets so walked around til we found the checkout counter. There was a significant line but we waited. When we got to the counter, we asked for two to play mini golf, we were told politely we needed to go outside to purchase golf. No problem. We went outside and again stood in line. When it was our turn, the girl behind the counter told us we needed a Frankies card. We of course did not because it was our first time, plus I didn't mention we are visiting SC from MO. She told us we needed the card and my husband asked where to get one and she said inside. He told her we'd already been inside and were told to come out to her. She really didn't care. Needless to say, we left. Sorry Frankie! I've been going to the Frankie's in Charleston since I was a kid. After I moved to Columbia, I've grown to like this one. Compared to the Frankie's in Charleston, this one is bigger so they have more selection with the video games and have more non-arcade activities including laser tag, larger putt putt course, and a fun house. It's located in Harbison so there's a lot of shopping and good restaurants nearby. For their arcade games, they have something for everyone. They have your classic Skee-ball and basketball games. There's also have your typical ticket games that you can earn tickets for prizes, shooter games, and prize machines. What's unique is that they have this huge Pacman 4 person air hockey near the Fun House that's a lot of fun. They rotate their machines, but right now they have a Kung-Fu panda game, Connect 4, Deal or no Deal, Time Crisis, Flappy Bird, and alot more games. Outside, they have a putt putt, go-karts, batting cage, drop zone, and bumper boats. I've only done the putt-putt and go-karts. The putt-putt is really worth it because if you go with a decent group, you can play for an hour or longer on one of their multiple 18-hole courses. Also, the scenery is great, you're surrounded by water and green and they even have a mini Rainbow Row from Charleston in the background. The go-karts they let you play around 4 or 5 minutes on the course and they have single and two seated carts. If you're hungry, they have a basic concession stand that has foods inside like pizzas, wings, hot dogs and sandwiches. Nothing fancy, and a little expensive in my opinion. For expenses, I usually come with my friends here to do Putt-Putt, which is about $8 for a 18-hole and then $15 each for arcade games so it can get expensive. Overall, this Frankie's is worth going to at least once if you like Putt-Putt, Go-Karts, and arcade games. It usually costs at least $15 a dollar a person so it can be expensive if you bring your family. read more

I haven't been to an arcade in years, but I felt a hankering to blow a few quarters in a machine and shoot up some aliens or bad guys or whatevers. Frankie's apparently has such a game room, but I sure couldn't find it. Skee Ball, racing, Guitar Hero and some others, but nothing that was a shoot-em-up. A very typical arcade/outdoor amusement park; staff who really don't give a way or another if your experience is great or not, unsatisfactory air conditioning, and no cleaning practices for high touch frequency objects. Had fun though, the only nice person in the entire place was the mini golf course lady behind the counter. Lazer tag, a group comes in to put on vests and the attendant started going over the rules without causing attention to themselves for everyone to listen. Little kids unattended at some rollercoaster ride with a screen, screaming at the thing while looking around getting some bad eyes. The arcade itself was pretty overcrowded and not every parent is ideal, to say the least. Outdoors is a lot better for if you bring a group of friends to have your own time with. read more

Frankie's is a great (albeit slightly expensive) spot for some good old-fashioned fun. They have a number of attractions including mini golf, go kart tracks (road course, slick track, and "rookie" course for the lil' ones), batting cages, laser tag, bumper boats, a drop zone ride, and many arcade games inside. Although the line to purchase attraction passes was a bit long (~8 minute wait), we had only short waits on the mini golf course and the slick track. The mini golf holes seemed fairly repetitive. However, the course is well decorated and fun to play. The slick track was exhilarating! I'd recommend this one. The ride lasts about 6 minutes. Also, we easily found a parking spot even though we went on a Saturday evening and it seemed very busy. read more

I went to have a party for my soon to be 9 year old she was so excited we got the and the sign on the door asked you to wear a mask but when everyone was not wearing there mask the manage looked for and told if i do not put on my mask i have to leave but you have children not have to wear a mask. But the adults have what kids do not get sick shock to me but my husband and i can not wear a mask because we can not breath with anything over our face mask or shield but i guess they do not care about there customers. read more

Go cart would not even really work and would not even go fast like everyone else and my dad had to stay beside me to get me back up to the go cart place and they keep saying there was nothing wrong and it was the same as everyone but I couldn't pass one person and everyone would fly right by one no problem read more

Very cool go carts! Super fast and fun. I think it was 8.00 a ride (10/21). A more reasonable price would be like 6.00 or 7.00. But, the track is really long and you can do a double seater! Which is faster! Arcade games are kind of expensive. I played a water game that required two people at 2.00 per person. You know the one where you shoot water at a clowns head. Well, it was hardly worth 4.00 for the 15 seconds of playing time and winning less than 100 tickets. Take away? Yes it's a nice place to go with the family. There were little 8 and 9 year olds (girls) running around without parents asking teen boys to fight them to see how good they were. Security was doing a thing about it either. I came with the family for some go cart driving. I remember when this place opened and it really hasn't changed that much. I had a blast on the adult track and even more fun when I got to race with my niece. The lines moved quickly and the cars worked well. The place is quite expensive, but it's a lot of fun. Definitely a lot to do for people of all ages! Everyone in our party had a great time. The putt putt course that we happen to play (1 of 3), was challenging. The go kart tracks were pretty cool but crowded. I would give it more stars but they are a little overpriced, especially in the arcade. One dollar to three dollars per game when you can play the same games at Chuck E. Cheese for a quarter. I went to Frankie's last Saturday night. (Yes, I am 24, an adult, and this was an actual Saturday night.) Judge what you will, but the nostalgia I encountered was stellar. I'm competitive by nature and thus Frankie's is like my own little personal heaven... as long as you go with someone who foots the bill for you. (Did I write that out loud?) It can get a little expensive as all of the arcade games add up. Each go-kart ride costs about $7 and is over in just about 7 minutes or less. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities. Everything was super eye-catching and shiny, and the bathrooms were in good condition. I think it always helps when everyone in your vicinity is smiling and laughing. Just makes for a great time. I wasn't able to play laser tag this time but I certainly will the next time I'm there. Of course Frankie's is a perfect place for families, but I'd advocate for just a little Saturday date. Let your inner kid shine. (And even better if you win everything!) read more

Frankie's is your typical family-friendly fun park with mini-golf, bumper boats, batting cages, laser tag, go-karts, and arcade games. For all the activities, you need a Frankie's Fun Card which is basically like their all-in-one pre-paid debit card that is used for payment. Make sure you don't discard your card after you visit because it costs 25 cents for a new card but more importantly it is used as your virtual ticket counter for arcade games. You can also purchase and reload your cards at the counter or use the self-service machines off to the side. For mini-golf, there are 3 courses but they are all pretty similar in my opinion. The courses are pretty basic with nothing too special compared to other putt-putt courses I have been to. The go kart track lasts about 5 minutes as well which is the most thrilling activity out of all the options. The laser tag can be either an individual game or team-based depending on what you would prefer. The game only lasts 6 minutes so it goes by quick so make sure to be aggressive! There are a variety of arcade games with both ticket and non ticket games. The games are pretty pricey compared to other arcade spots and the prizes for tickets are pretty weak. Don't plan on getting much even with a few thousand tickets. Overall, Frankie's is a fun outing for a family or with friends but be prepared to spend some money. Fun place to go to have a good time. A group of us went there last night to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. There is an array of things to do (arcade games, laser tag, go carts, batting cages, bumper boats, and miniature golf). Depending on how much you want to do, it could get very expensive. You can also purchase a prepaid card to use at the various attractions through out the park, and any tickets won (for prizes) can be added to your card. My only complaint was pricing of some of their food products. I ordered a soft pretzel, and it was $2.75 (could have been a little cheaper). I also had to wait for about 5-10 minutes for them to get me my pretzel. Plus side - the pretzel was nice and warm (and not stale), but was hoping not to wait as long as I did for a simple pretzel. read more

Frankie's in Irmo has a nice variety of games and rides. My favorite is the drifting go-karts and put-put. They're being very cautious during Covid-19. They do have a 18+ age rule in the evenings. MASKS ARE REQUIRED and if you can't wear a mask they require face shield. They are strictly enforcing this, but I understand given the circumstances. We noticed some customers giving employees a hard time when asked to put mask on. People, please be nice to these employees, they probably don't want to deal with this everyday and making their job hard is NOT nice! They have a nice selection of food in the snack bar and are constantly wiping surfaces and taking precautions for Covid. Highly recommend! read more

I think it's just the South, the humidity was killing me. I'm from California I'm used to dry heat. This weather made frankies not so much fun. We came here to treat our nephews to some fun, this might just be me but i figured with the cost of living supposedly so much cheaper compared to California, that 60.00 would go allot further. Not so much. Fine ate the days of video games costing a quarter or 50 cents. The laser tag cost, 7.00 each, as did the go carts, and putt putt.
