Arcade

This place was a bunch of fun! You can play in the arcade, ride bumper cars, eat pizza, get Italian Ice, do mini golf and bumper boats. Basically, something for everyone to enjoy at a reasonable price. I bought a round of mini golf for my 4 year old and I, she didn't last more than ten minutes. The employee was so thoughtful because upon returning our clubs after less than 10 minutes, she handed me another putt putt card with the money refunded. I was not expecting it and we promptly spent it inside at the arcade! I especially recommend the bumper boats, they were too much fun! We were spinning in circles and squirting water every where! Fair warning to those on the mini golf course, if you get close enough you many get a "spritz" of water. We will be back! Thank you for being open, friendly and clean!!

Kids love playing laser tag and arcade games at this business. They can win small prizes. A mini-golf was available. You can easily park on their private lot.

For the first time coming to Putt Putt it was so much fun. A friend and I tried this place out before Christmas and we had a blast especially when we played golf. 3 holes in one and he won both games, but it was very fun. Can't wait til next time.

Okay, so I haven't really done any of the "fun center" things--no putt-putt or anything in the arcade area. Why do I love it? Because there is a Rita's Water Ice (ahem... Italian Ice?--My first Rita's experiences were in Philly and "water ice" is what it is called there, I can't get it through my head as anything else now.). Rita's is delicious and this location has a Rita's on the inside! Tastes of home are important and I'm so glad that Augusta brought Rita's down. They have so many of the flavors that I love like the Swedish fish flavor and the cherry flavor... I know that I may sound like a child with my flavor favorites but you should try them--they are delicious! How did I realize that this little gem existed? I got an e-mail about the first day of spring free Rita's and, on a whim, did a search for the closest location to me. Little did I know that it was basically down the street. If you haven't tried Rita's yet, it is worth the short stop in--it could change your world... or just expand your dessert options.

Love this place! So many fun attractions for the family to make memories. After a round of golf, my family and I enjoyed some Rita's Italian Ice :)

Dirty floor. Paint all over trashcan.

Employees were nice and very friendly. Putt Putt course was faded...outdated. The inside was small and the AC seemed to be not be working properly. There were only about 20 or so games....3 of which took my tokens and didn't work. It was ok. A little dirty.

Terrific place well maintained and friendly staff. Wondrous Rita Water Ice and handmade pizza; we had a terrific time, as it seemed like everyone else was similar in pleasant mood. If crowded it might be a less fun spot, go at opening hours. Laser tag was a blast!

Fun place to take the family. Kids really enjoyed all the games. If they are happy it's a win.

The putt-putt is really good but almost everything else is overpriced. Some of the staff are kind of rude but the others are amazing.

Do they give military discounts?

I'm sorry I do not know that answer I tried calling to ask and no luck reaching anyone.

This place needs a lot of work…read more The All in one day pass is NOT worth it! Many of the activities didn't live up to our expectations. This pass is for 5 people and includes all of their activities. Unfortunately, only 3 bumper carts were working when we went. That meant our group of 5 couldn't even ride at the same time. In addition, 3/5 of our laser tag guns didn't work. There's no way to keep track of scoring because some of the guns don't work. When I asked an employee, she said, "that's just how it is." Sounds like nothing will be done about this. Lastly, 1/4 of the virtual reality worked!! One employee from the cafe would operate the VR which was super inefficient. All of this created long lines. Although my family had a great time on the trampolines, we wish we purchased a cheaper ticket option given that the other activities weren't functional.

The food is very good and our party staffer Kyla gave us white glove service that rivals the nicest events I have ever been to. We ordered pizza, wings, chicken tenders and waffle fries. Plenty of dips and sauces came with the food as well. They make the process easy and fun. Of course I had a childhood dream of jumping into the ball pit! See my pic. I also lost big in Lazer tag, but I blame the little kid camping and shooting me in the back the whole time.

If chaos had a happy place, it would be Frankie's Fun Park…read more We rolled in deep--pizza plates stacked like trophies, Coca-Cola cups multiplying faster than gremlins after midnight, balloons floating like they had their own agenda. The vibe? Birthday party meets family reunion meets "just one more ride." Food: The pizza was doing its job. Big slices, greasy in the best way, and absolutely necessary fuel before unleashing kids (and adults) onto go-karts. Nobody left hungry. That alone deserves a star. Party setup: Long tables, shiny tablecloths, balloons everywhere, and enough space to spread out without feeling rushed. It felt organized but still fun--like someone said, "Let them be loud, just keep the pizza coming." Go-karts: Listen. These kids took the track seriously. Focused faces, death grips on the steering wheels, living their Fast & Furious dreams. Outside track + night lights = elite combo. I saw confidence unlocked in real time. Rides & games: Spinning. Flashing. Laughing. Screaming. Someone always yelling, "WAIT FOR ME!" Another person waving at the camera like they're in a music video. Zero boredom detected. ‍‍‍ Overall: Perfect for birthdays, big groups, teens, families, and anyone who enjoys controlled chaos with snacks. It's loud, it's energetic, and it's exactly what it promises to be--pure fun. Would I go again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Already have. Would I leave with pizza grease on my hands and a smile on my face? Guaranteed. Frankie's understood the assignment.

There were a lot options for people from elementary school aged to adults. You could bring an infant but not to participate, obviously. They had several options for food to include fries, pretzels, fountain drinks, and pizzas Would recommend and return again!

Palmetto Amusements, thanks for ruining our daughter's New Year's Eve!…read more We were at the Famously Hot New Year in downtown Columbia on 12/31/15. We purchased the $10 wrist band for unlimited rides and were told the rides ran till 11:00 pm, plus the FHNY web site advertised the rides would run till 11:00 pm. My daughter wanted to do the bungee bounce, and the line was long, but we waited in line starting at 9:15pm. We waited, and waited, and at no time did any staff from Palmetto Amusements make any announcement or cut off the line. 10:00 pm passed, 10:30 pm passed, still we waited along with everyone else in line. Then at 10:50 pm, the ride operator announced that he would not honor anyone with a wrist band and only those with tickets. Well everyone in line had on a wrist band. Parents and the children waiting to ride were obviously upset. We all tried talking to the operator, but he had an attitude and said no one else will be allowed to ride and they started to tear down the ride. Again, prior to the 11:00 pm posted end time for the rides. One parent called someone she knew who worked for the city and is one of the event coordinators, and I went and got a Columbia Police Officer. Then some woman who I assume represented Palmetto Amusements arrived. After hearing from the parents, the city rep, cop, and rep from Palmetto Amusements all went and talked for quite some time. Now during all this discussion, Palmetto Amusemants could have ended this right there and said "let the kids who waited ride." The time they took listening to all of us then talking it over would have been plenty of time to allow the last few in line to ride. A professional amusement company would have done these things when they saw a long line and realized time was running short: one, they should have cut off the line at a certain time and not allow anyone new to get in line; second, if they wanted to limit those maybe holding a place in line, why not pass out a special ticket to each person in line at the last call time and say that you will need your wrist band and the ticket to get on the ride, and then close the line. But Palmetto Amusements does not seem to be a professional amusement company. While we really wanted our kids to get to ride, at this point we all wanted a refund of our wrist band. The lady from Palmetto Amusements said to me NO REFUNDS. I told her a responsible company would do what is right for the customers, but she again exclaimed No Refunds. So, at this point the Columbia Policeman explained this is a civil matter, but will take all our names and give us a case number for us to pursue a civil action. At this point I sent my wife and daughter off as my 6 year was falling asleep, and I would meet them after I have given the police officer my name. We were then told that the amusement company would give us our money back, but only because the city will then pay them back to keep us all happy and hopefully return next year for FHNY. I waited, then when I went up there to get my refund, the lady from Palmetto Amusemants told me I needed my daughter with the wrist band, even though I was talking to the lady all this time with my daughter there wearing the wrist band. I explained I sent them off to go, and she said to get my refund I would have to call them back. I said forget it and that I will get my money back by sharing this story about this company. So, Palmetto Amusements, learn how to run your ride lines, then do right by the customer, and not wait for a 3rd party to have to reimburse you for your mistakes. If you are having an event, find a better amusement company and DO NOT BOOK PALMETTO AMUSEMENTS. Otherwise you will have disappointed children.

No liquor license renewed, so no bar. For some in our group, this was a major disappointment. There was several miles…read morelong of traffic and they were not directing people appropriately, from what I would have thought. The day before they told us we could go to the left side to pass everyone since we already had our passes. I believe the weekends they have the night ride is when it's super crowded like this. We had a lot of fun and there were thousands of people there. The only thing I did not like was like I said the traffic. They should've had a dedicated lane for people who already had passes although we rode past everyone as soon as we get off the highway on a two-lane road and we're able to get in after about 15 minutes there were people that had been in line for three hours that we actually knew that did not do what we did. So that's one downside. Another was ordering the food was quick, but it took 15 minutes for an order of fries to come out. There was only one line so that was another thing where they should've had it split and had two people on the register if possible, but other than that, it was an overall great experience. I would definitely go back, but maybe not during a weekend there is a night ride because it was so crowded. We decided to leave and not do the night ride which was the whole reason we actually had went Unfortunately, someone actually lost their life this past weekend while we were there. I'm not sure all of the details but I did see their body laying on the ground, which was a bit disturbing so I will not go into details out of respect for the person in their family. Another thing I noticed was that all of the other ATV places we've gone to there is a rule if you are on a four wheeler or dirtbike you have to have a helmet. Apparently this rule is not enforced here because there were several people who were on four wheelers and dirt bikes, and no one had on helmets! And the side-by-side or ATVs of course it's not required, but I would imagine being on a four wheeler or a dirtbike it's strictly enforced whether you're on a trail or on the road in the parking lot. And unfortunately, the person who lost their life was on a four wheeler and they did not have a helmet.
